I can support veto OR navy build. No need to sell crown corps to boost research. Better to bank the PW and Veto. The research will move ahead quickly now that we have education.

We have a better staying power, but we have to actually realise it into the fleet to win anytime soon. Yes, there is some danger in selling to 11/14 - but not much, as most critical things are still in our hands.

Just read the update. The applications of enhanced healing are incredibly interesting. I wonder if we turn meta-green into a laser, will that harm a person, or heal them? Or both?

I mean, it's a bit early in the tech tree to confirm the real scientific implications of this IC, but there are definite theological implications here. We have a direct scientific measure of near-human intelligence or even a 'soul'. At least, it's something that pretty much seems like that. These repeatable tests basically allow one to use the scientific method to 'confirm' theories regarding different religion. It also says that there is something in nature that specifically aids humans and select animals, which gives proof that humans are special and/or there is at least someone out there who's looking out for us.

It might also give rise to a type of vegetarianism based on whether the animal is healed by The Light or not.
