Actually, they might lose a lot of said personal army. The Fiery Hand have surprisingly similarities to the unsullied: Slave soldiers indoctrinated to always obey. I can't see Viserys allowing that practice to continue.

Dany was ordering her dragons to kill them, all because she was the one holding the whip.

Dany, in the books threw away the whip right after giving her orders to the unsullied while her Dothraki was making a mess of the Good Masters. That's why I hated the show for not showing "Dracarys! Dracarys!" Among other things.

Well, re-manning the unsullied...don't know if thats been tried before. We'll need to make it right cheap to cast en mass I think. Or maybe a function of a Tree--the Re-Manning Tree, with the face of an ex-unsullied carved on it.

Edit: It would be poetic to have it in Astapor, but don't think it should wait that long.

There would likely be very little effect on the Unsullied if we used Regenerate to restore them to full reproductive function. The physical effects of their indoctrination pale in comparison to the years of mind fuckery they have been subjected to. If we aren't willing to put them out of their misery, the best thing we could probably do is confiscate the whips needed to command their obedience, then order them to become the most proficient farmers, fishers, and craftsmen as they can manage, while trying to live a long, productive life.

[X] Ask their leadership to come out and speak with you
-[X] Thank them for the ultimately unnecesary offer of support, you are sure they will instead devote those resources to help the liberated slaves.
-[X] Reassure them that they will be able to continue operating in the city, provided they keep to the laws of the realm.
-[X] Make It clear there will be no slaves on this city, the servants and clergy of the temple may call themselves whatever they wish, but if any wishes to leave then the law will protect them.
-[X] Hear about their own proposals and plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the city.

Just Reassure them they dont have to be in the shitlist, if they play nice they wont even notice that the city changed hands.
On the other hand, if they have anything to offer now is the time, we reward those that serve willingly and they do have the ears and the hearts of a good portion of the city.

Ask them to reassure the populace on matters such as rule of law, assured freedom for all slaves, the availabilty of food.

They get nothing! Muw Ha Ha Ha (yeah, I'm not a fan of slavery, be it to a mortal or god) :)

[X] Send a message to the priest that they can apply to become a state-approved religion at the Archon's Palace as soon as we have an administration going.
-[X] Until then they can do their thing, but all specific laws regarding them or religions in general are not active.

No point in making exeptions.
The formular was a joke, the idea behind it not.

same, thats why i just to let them know the points that are not open for negotiation, and then hear them out a bit, we can negotiate after that.
This is far too friendly and amicable for my liking. Their opening move was to try to shoehorn their way in and steal credit for freeing the slaves, and now we're sitting down and reassuring them? Why? Let's negotiate, they don't need their hands held. We do not have to be nice to them, they should be working to please us instead.

Prior to meeting with the Red Priests, please add that Viserys renews his social buffs and casts Divine Insight. He should also use Blood Wish to cast Greater Magic Aura to hide all of our buffs.

Typing something up to open negotiations and get the non-negotiable parts out of the way.

@Goldfish, adding the buffs, though what's the Divine Insight for?

Its called Diplomacy, keep in mind that after thanking them, we remind them that they are no longer allowed to have slaves in any form, and there is no such thing as religious exceptions for sacrifices, unregistered mages and other things they might have gotten away with in the past.
After that, we give them just that, a chance to make their case and work with us.

If there is a time I can agree with general "anti-gods" stance of Azel's, it's here.

Fffuck Burny.
And fffffuck his priests.

They're damn lucky it would be OOC for Viserys to willingly kill off 1-2/10 of any future Essos conquest population just to deal with Burny-worship.

Yes, I actually see that as what could have been a legitimate way of proceeding with the issue.

Also, fuck Drunken God, the Heart Tree can't grow soon enough on his fountain

[X] Plan Preliminary Talk
-[X] Recast Voice of the Dragon, Air of Nobility, a Divine Insight and hide the auras by using Bloodwish: Greater Magic Aura.

-[X] Introduction:
--[X] Fly to the temple in your full dragon form, land on the steps and transform back for the talk. A low-level Archon and Dany accompany you.
--[X] Let the Archon introduce you as Viserys Targaryen, Dragon Lord, King of the Stepstones, Lord of Sorcerers Deep, Archon of Tyrosh, Daemonslayer, Breaker of Chains, Enemy of the Great Other.
--[X] It's a official function, so we should announce ourselves properly. Using the Archon to bolster our street cred as the good guy.

-[X] Thank the Red Priests for the offer to aid you in stabilizing the city and ending slavery. Though you had to reject the offer due to military concerns of adding the Fiery Hand to the fray, you appreciate the offer in the spirit it was given.
--[X] Translation: You are aware what they wanted to achieve with that move, especially the "condition" they had set. You will not give them the recognition they seek for empty gestures like that.
--[X] Also note your surprise at their desire to aid with the freeing of the slaves in Tyrosh. While the Red Faith has always been prolific among the slaves, you have not yet seen them object to practice itself.

-[X] Talk about the future of the Red Faith in Tyrosh:
--[X] Slavery is no longer in Tyrosh. All slaves are free now, which includes any serving their temple. We will not force the congregation to disperse, but any who wish to leave can do so with the full protection of the law. Likewise, the Red Faith is not exempt from the laws prohibiting slave-trade.
---[X] If any wish to leave, mention that our laws stipulate a reimbursement of slaves, seized from their previous owners, so that they can start a new life. Leave a pregnant pause after that statement and unless the priest offers to do so, proclaim that you will see that the leaving slaves get some coin from the royal coffers.
----[X] This is mostly to gauge the Reds reaction, especially to a potential confrontation. Not worth it to push for a escalation here, but it costs them face to refuse, while complying is a good sign for future cooperation.

--[X] Talk about the Fiery Hand and that such a large force of fighters to protect the temple will no longer be necessary soon, since you plan to bring order, law and peace to the slums.
---[X] Not outright ordering them to be disbanded, especially since we couldn't enforce it now, but by applying pressure here, we can make some concessions by offering postings for former Fiery Hand members in other institutions like the garrisons, lawmen, Legion or similar. It is vastly preferable to have known plants there then having to find hidden plants.

--[X] Talk about the faiths in Tyrosh, especially in the face of the Daemon infestation. See what he has to say about Zagreus and Trios and mention that you will bring temples of the gods of Sorcerers Deep to Tyrosh, beginning by growing a Godswood sanctified by the blood of Daemons and their insane servants.
---[X] This is an opener for the Reds to start talking about were they see their future in Tyrosh.

--[X] With their rection to our prodding and a chance for them to make their own case, we can proceed with the actual negotiations.

It's more like 70% to 90% of every future conquest in southern Essos. Burny is very prolific.

Except that we don't need to bow and scrape to them, they need to bow and scrape to us. We don't need to be diplomatic to them, and we don't have to abandon our position of strength.

EDIT: Azel's vote keeps being nice to them, which is a little annoying, but it also has us throwing our weight around more.

I'm pretty sure that killing all priests/preachers/champions of Burny/generally the people holding the religious knowledge/ would suffice for the task.

And even if not, honestly?
I'm tempted to go all the way, murderblendering everyone and everything just to spite Burny.

My deeply hidden CE tendencies and hateboner to Burny aside, that's just too good a pre-epic levels feat not to.
...
We totally should kill Lolth/Burny/Black Goat/Meraxes before level 20.
At least one of them.
Screw that soft cap, we're Dragon Emperor.

"Speak softly and carry a big stick be a huge dragon."

There is nothing to be gained from antagonizing them, since they already know that we hold every card this side of the Disputed Lands.

Also take note that we are not exactly negotiating for now. All the things we say are statements of fact. They basically get a heads-up how things will go from here and a chance to pick where they will be during all of that.
