Either it is or it will be in the next interlude.
Either it is or it will be in the next interlude.
@DragonParadoxShould be. The plan was to cast magic army, then sleep to replenish spells.
It ain't bribery if I would do it anyway.
@DragonParadox, with your permission and maybe the cliff-notes you have for the scene, I would love to write the second most picked option.
Though I'm kinda hoping for the cult scene to be the second, due to spontaneous inspiration.
Viserys already went to sleep, so it's definitely in place.
We even used Lay of the Land in Lys to locate the Lichs lair.*

Poison that makes you sleep?Dragons Return to Old Roosts? Ever since the death of the last Targaryen dragon sightings of the beasts have been limited to travelers' tales from distant and wild lands to which few gave credence. Recent whispered rumors from Dragonstone speak of diminutive dragons gathering in the highest and most remote slopes of the Dragonmount. Many are of a mind that these are either the ramblings of the mad or the drunk. Still others fear that the beasts will soon grow to weak havoc upon the isles. Thanks to your smuggler contacts you suspect that these are not true dragons at all. The stories tell of witnesses falling into slumber after disturbing these small dragons. One of your shapes is of a small draconic creature whose venom can cause sleep.
@Goldfish @Artemis1992 @TotallyNotEvil etc.
I'm pretty sure that the "dragons" on the Dragonmont are pseudodragons. I was rooting around for any rumors that I might have missed for my compilation, and I found this.
Poison that makes you sleep?
Funny. Sounds exactly like a pseudodragon.
If we're not going to Sothoryos next month, we should definitely spend a few days on Dragonstone instead. If we're lucky we could get a new mate for Varys.
Similar, but I always discounted that connection because the rumor didn't include anything about the dragons speaking directly into the witnesses' heads using their Telepathy.
Hmm... Yeah, you're probably right. Damn. Either way, since we're not going to get to spend a week in Sothoryos, I want to spend a few days on Dragonstone instead. I want those dragon-things as familiars for our mages. And more importantly, I want to deny them to the Lannisters.Similar, but I always discounted that connection because the rumor didn't include anything about the dragons speaking directly into the witnesses' heads using their Telepathy.
DP outright confirmed these things are pseudodragons. Those are just pseudo-dragons though. Great familiars but not exactly mighty weapons of war.
No? Varys is a crazy-strong pseudodragon. She has 128 HP, that's insane. She's strong enough to be actively relevant for our current combat, we just need to get started on properly equipping her.
Good she's so fucking small though. No? Varys is a crazy-strong pseudodragon. She has 128 HP, that's insane. She's strong enough to be actively relevant for our current combat, we just need to get started on properly equipping her.
Excellent.
DP was wrong about them not being mighty weapons of war, though. At least, I think Varys the Pseudogragon would like to disagree. She's basically a mini-PC all one her own now, especially since we've equipped her with enchanted gear.
Eventually, we need for Viserys to have a Page of Spell Knowledge for Fortify Familiar, Enhance Familiar, and Venomfire. She'll be a cute little murder machine.
EDIT: Oooh, Varys can be the wing commander for the Construct Wyrmlings!
Embrace the ascension, we worked hard for it.I wonder how one of Varys' motivational speeches to her Elemental Wyrmling subordinates would go? She's awesome, but she's not exactly overflowing with Charisma.
"All right, troops, this is it. You might not be real Dragons, but you're not hairless monkeys, either, and they seem to manage just fine. Myhumandragon almost managed this by accident in Lys, so capturing Myr while he's off on a picnic with Lya shouldn't be much trouble at all."
