I like that it has thought to our future actions.[X] Plan Much to Do Before Magistery
Takes steps to do many of the things we need to do, and more complete than other plans.

The top plan that includes buying a gun does have it buying from the dwarfs. Why are we proposing buying pistols from Nuln? We have friendly dwarf contacts, surely we should buy pistols from them if anything.
I am not sure we can find anything ready for our small hand and slender build. Dwarwen pistols are probably at least 15mm and kick like a horse. Why are we proposing buying pistols from Nuln? We have friendly dwarf contacts, surely we should buy pistols from them if anything.
Sure, but pistols from this age and place can be as tricky as minor magic. Also don't care for the pistol. It is a lot of money for a minor improvement of an item we use rarely if at all.

Suggestion for future action:
Showing the Dämmerlichtreiter flag – Spend a few weeks riding between the towns and cities of Stirland at impossible speeds. Be visibly doing 'something' and see if anyone suddenly acts nervous. Pay some clandestine social calls on people of influence and see if they try to bring anything to your attention.
Even that 15 strikes me as an optimistic best-case scenario. Actual time is probably going to get lengthened by failures, retries, and things that take multiple actions.Notably I expect we'll be spending the next 3 turns working on our magic backlog before we head out adventuring again.
15/18 actions to pretty much catch up on our backlog. With stuff like transport, meeting people, estate management, learning any new spells and looking into the current Elector Count we're going to be pretty much full out.
It's not about bulk, it's about caliber and recoil. For a battle-usable sidearm you generally need as big a handgun as you can reasonably carry and use, at least until automatic pistols are a thing. And dwarves can carry and use guns bigger than humans can. There's a hope we can find something like kid training pistol or a dwarven equivalent of mouse gun or pepperbox but I fear that most dwarven ready-made pistols are just too strong for us to use.I think it might be the opposite. Dwarves have superior alloys and machining capabilities and in the models and pictures at least they are depicted as being less bulky than empire made weapons.
To remind the locals of our reputation. To make people question if The Dämmerlichtreiter was actually fired or is secretly still running the show. To see if anything interesting is going on that we can stick our nose into like the meddling wizard we are.
Familiar: You've grown much in power; it might be time for you to seek a familiar. Animals that are suitable to be familiars are incredibly rare. You can hunt for them and spent a great deal of time doing so, or you can buy one for an agonizing price. Or you could make one.
I think this is really not the time to play Meddling Wizard, we'll only confirm Roswita's prejudices. She's treated us reasonably well in spite of those prejudices; from her point of view, wizards explode into demons (or as in Jovi's case, explode into citywide fires) too often to keep them around safely, especially in a castle that's already had a demon explosion, so writing us a glowing letter of recommendation rather than "GTFO now now now" is a fairly good outcome. To remind the locals of our reputation. In the wider sense I want an option for being more than just a reclusive business owner and academic. We might go adventuring further afield but so long as we are based in Stirland I would like the option of poking around locally.

6. No Magister may cast a spell or enchantment outside of the theatre of war and in public view without first being requested to by the Emperor, the Electors of Sigmar's Holy Empire, or another legitimate employer as defined by the Articles of this document. All spells and enchantments cast without these permission may only be done so with and for demonstrably good reason.
[X] Plan Wilhelmina n Pals
Great plan.
[X] Plan Magic 5 before exams
Solid plan.
Could do will getting the gunpowder factory started but nonetheless solid.
[X] Plan Much to Do Before Magistery
Dislike the 'Internalized Lessons' action. Far too little return for the action invested, particularly when our 'stewardship plans' mostly come down to ordering other people to do stewardy things for us. Also don't care for the pistol. It is a lot of money for a minor improvement of an item we use rarely if at all.
But an otherwise fine plan.
[] Plan Magic Building and Expansion
Wasting the niter crystals. This is Warhammer, not Stardew. I do like the plan otherwise but that is too much of a deal breaker.
[] Plan Seventeen Can't Think Of A Name
Too little magic, too much 'Internalized Lessons'.
[] Plan: Man what is this backlog of stuff I need to study
Plan fails to do the thing we told the collage we were going to do, which can get us killed. Plan fails to do anything with our currently idle factory, directly costing us money. Plan spends an action figuring out how to abandon our home, a home we have spent years improving and have no legitimate reason to leave. (Fearmongering is not a legitimate reason.)
So no.
