We're better off just not giving it to her at all. This is like giving a child a knife IRL because they might need it, giving them no training on when and where it should be used, then telling them not to play with it. Of course she's going to run off and play adventurer. She's a little girl.

Changed it to mwk bronze armor like Waymars instead. Fits better with their theme anyway.
Ysilla is getting a dragonhide or mithral armor though, she is practically one step from going full PC adventuerer.

Okay, this is way too much. Ysilla is a child. Not a PC, a child. She doesn't have magic, she can't fight. Don't give her anything but PfE. Especially not dragonhide when we have yet to equip our own PCs in dragonhide.
When she becomes a PC, then we equip her.

I strenuously object to your assertion that Ysilla has any sort of PC levels, and considering the extordionary claim, that an 8 year old in a low-magic environment is likely to be close to PC, I would like some evidence, or an explanation of your rationale, as I do not see the logic behind your statement.

@Crake, keep in mind this is the opening gift. I think we ended up giving them too much. You know what, I'll just make my own edits. We need something to "sell" at the end of all this. Also the armor is probably going to be taken as an insult.

We can always buy more in the Opaline Vault, it's not all that rare there, still expensive of course, but we can buy as much as we need there, it's 12 Scepters per lb there, so that's 24 IM per lb, giving then 5 lb of Mithril only cost us 120 IM, we can go to the Opaline Vault and back within less than a day, so I really think we should make those daggers of Mithril instead of cold iron, Mithril just looks so much more impressive.
Before we got a steady source of Mithril I get saving it, but we have a source we can buy as much Mithril as we want from, so 5 1 lb daggers is just 120 IM.

Okay, an epiphany has occurred. The Bone-Thrall whip is very useful to us. Distasteful to the extreme, but useful nonetheless. We can use it in Tyrosh. When a powerful fiend shows up that we'd normally kill out of a lack of options for containment, we can get it with the whip and march it right off to sacrifice.
I want to bring the whip to Sothoryos as well. Actually, I want to bring it to every major hotspot of sacrifices until we reach the Ninth Circle of magic and get Dominate Monster for Viserys.

No. Mithral. Weapons.
Cold Iron is extremely rare and pretty useful. Mithral for a weapon is just Silver without the -1 damage.
@Duesal van you please include the scheme to have Waymar in plain clothes for the visit? Viserys can make some excuse no problem.

Anything that powerful is more likely than not going to beat the saving throw to resist the effect. Viserys has a higher spell DC on BP and GSE. Lya, Tyene, Dany, and Malarys, too.

Mithral however look far more impressive than cold iron, Mithral looks magical, cold iron just looks like normal iron, so while cold iron might be more useful, Mithral is more showy meaning it's a better prestige gift.
