It doesn't work like that. Divination doesn't look out for whether or not we know we plan to do something (until we do it), it looks for a sequence of events across a period of time and then informs the person if it is going to happen or not.

Some does, that's why we have anti-divination plans, otherwise it wouldn't matter.

If we leave Xor here, perhaps we should let him have the golem tokens?

@Goldfish Xor could swallow them without any digestive problems. Because he is all mouth!

So, is Lys for all purposes now...ours? Considering we just did some major magic in the middle of their city and cleansed it of corruption..surely that's enough to outright have at least a claim to the city?

Enough to land our legions and have the city proclaim Viserys?

@Goldfish Gotta say, landing the Black and Red livery dressed legionaries on Lys is basically just announcing politely that we are entered into a formal state of war with them, but don't worry this is a "demilitarized zone"... as in, it's demonstratively militarized but no one can hurt each other within it barring special circumvention.

Edit: Yeah you know, @Goldfish, this is so huge and massive, that at this point, we could probably just walk in on the Conclave and act like "yeah that was totally me, surrender, it's better this way".

[X] Goldfish

Or as I like to call it, plan "Invaders, we're not invaders, simply humble guardsmen to an obviously religous institution. And if you don't believe me, talk to my 8 foot tall bull-headed friend with the axe."

@DragonParadox
1) When we take some Leshies back to Sorcerer's Deep, how quickly do they reproduce on their own?
2) What about the Lich's skull?
3) What about the magic items the Lich has in his secret chest?

Also, great chapter. That tree is spectacular.

Zherys will feel so inadequate when he hears of this! :lol

And he finds out the truth and it turns out we diplomanced a stillborn got into the Old Gods? So much more!

Well, when you put it that way...I guess so. @Everyone, Did we just 'accidentally' a city?

Should be just go ahead, use the Shadow Tower to start moving in troops, and formalize our rule?

If we move quickly, we can have the place locked down before Tyrosh even knows what's happening, then move on Tyrosh immediately afterward.

Targaryening will be the Planetosi equivalent to Blitzkrieg.

"You know guys, this is kinda awkward for me. I didn't really want to have it that visible, but now everybody knows and I kinda need to protect that tree. So... I accept your unconditional surrender."
"But we didn't offer such a thing!"
"..."
"Admittedly, it looks like a reasonable course of action."

I say we should, no better time. We should grab Garin and Tyene locate the company captains in terms of mercenaries and try to flip them overnight, identify our more likely obstacles (lean on our spy network here) then garrison the city and try to get things stable.

We just shat out a 200 foot tall tree with a face that cures illnesses, feeds with a single berry, and provides sanctuary to anyone who gets close enough.

We haven't accidentally anything, we all but renamed this place "New Viserysburg", held our arms open and asked a bitch to try and argue.

Goodberries also work in a siege.

This could get real weird real quick if we weren't planning the quick and clean approach, just parking troops in the sanctuary would baffle the vast majority of people and it would descend from there, do we attack the tree fort? We can't.
Do we attack Sorcerer's Deep? And leave less troops for Lys while enemies are in the heart?Weird.

Anyone else picturing a horde of Fungus Leshy tearing apart the Undead like some kind of reverse zombie/technically-almost-science-circle of unlife?

Hnnnnngh!
*Feels that Sorcerer's Deep doesn't have something as uber-cool as super-tree*
I... I need to sit down
*Feels cognitive dissonance with witnessing something awesome that is, ultimately, out of reach for quite some time*

I kinda worried about something like this happening, but better frantically reshuffle our conquests then letting the Lich roam.

So... yeah... we are now kinda invading the place.

I'm with this. I'm not sure if @DragonParadox meant it to be so...impactful? Because a gigantic symbol of our religion and god and us essentially planting the equivalent of our flag in a foreign city is claiming it right?? Quick, before Lys gets over the shock, lets drop our legions around the tree!

Thinking about all this, how that more mighty did we just make the Old Gods? I assume the Landwarden is based on Genius Loci(both are CR 30), so fuck, that is a metric fuckton of might.

Are the Others in full panic mode? What of the other deities who are no friends to the Old Gods?

Also, as to the Golems, have we bedecked them in the Black and Red yet? If they're to be seen as ours, they have to be bedecked in the Black and Red. :V

Maybe not Garin, unless we want to risk meddling Burny.
