Oh, that certainly wasn't what I meant to imply. My point was the differential in salt levels and how much that can cause an affect when you're not used to it.

To put it simply, my quest could be the poster child for the moderately insane idea that SV is filled with safe and conservative players.

No, I'm not messing with you. The quest base has on numerous occasions deliberately and with forethought turned down the opportunity of shinies. This is a quest community that consistently holds to plans made across months of RL time without flickering, even when new opportunities present themselves. It's bizarre as hell.
I can honestly say that I'm likewise baffled when safe, sensible and harmless options carry the day when there is an option of shiny. There was even a notion of the PC not being ready to fight something today. o_O:confused:

We're honestly infamously good at withholding our murder-hobo tendencies despite possessing them to a large degree. Some might say in spite of it, actually.

But yeah, cross-thread contamination doesn't really happen much. Mostly because all who venture into these depths become overcome by the brine eventually.

Good.

It still needs the Enduring +2 Constitution upgrade. How much did DP say he failed his Fort save against the Lich's spell by?

So... He has enduring on his healing belt, and I can not, in anyway fathom why putting stat modifers on a PfE is preferable to putting them on a healing belt.
I just... To me it's as clear as 2 being less than 3, or some other basic maths on which which is preferable, and I am tired of arguing for stats on the healing belt over stats on PfE every time. I feel like a nag. Would you mind explaining why you prefer pfe+con boosts over healing belt + con.
I am tired of not understanding why :(

I SHALL REMAIN FREE!
But seriously, I'm going to take a break from vote-crafting and the like for a while unless Rhaella stuff pops up again. No regrets, though.

For the turn plan, Xorn, Festival, Runestone, POA, and Greenstone are what I'd go for, with Illyrio, Lys Lich, and then Tyrosh as the capstone the following month (with extra time maybe turned towards the Wall).

Xorn and the Festival aren't actually optional.

I want to hit the Plane of Air. If we can get a resurrection scroll, it'd be amazing, and we'd finally get more animals for the menagerie.

I want to steal Royce's other son, Robar, who as a second son needs land, for the Legion, in time for him to participate in taking Tyrosh and I don't want shenanigans to happen in the Stormlands when it looks like Stannis is finally bending.

Once we take Tyrosh, we can't act as freely in other free cities (they'll panic at our mere presence, if they learn of it), so it makes sense to deal with the Lich and Illyrio beforehand to finish up those while it's easy to do so.

Edit: We need to fit some prep-work in to start the propaganda thing post Tyrosh in there somewhere too.

Why enduring on the PfE?

Because +Con items goes on the neck slot.

Totally my mistake. My apologies for the confusion. For whatever reason I was assuming Waymar didn't have a +2 Constitution item.

Another Royce? Remember how long It took us to break waymar in, no way we are starting again, if anything i want his sister, she shows potential.

At this point the pub crawl isn't exactly optional either. We saw how much our reputation is in tatters, it will require quite a lot of work to bring that one back up.

Who said that being high level we wouldn't have challenges

Greater Ribbons of Disguise.

Ugh, we really do need that big pile of crafting materials. We've got a sickening amount of magic items that need to be made.

If they use divination to ask questions about Viserys going to, say, Lys, then we might panic them. They never see us, and we don't conquer them, but they think we're coming and so do something stupid. I'd rather clear the board beforehand.

Robar is the practical one, who was quite willing to support Renly "I should be king, because!" Baratheon, until Loras Tyrell killed him in a rage after Renly got shadow babied.

The pub crawl is pretty low transmission, but we'll want songs ready once we start doing things like that (or start sending bards places). Commissioning songs that, for example, mock Robert or talk about how great we are, are included in the prep-work.

I have a feeling that Robert has been training and stuff - I think he sent the fleet, possibly also the trade war exile threat to have someone to fight.

DP once said that he is cutting down on the booze and feasts since we wrecked his fleet.
The sad part is that we can't even send Azema to put him back on track due to the whole "consorting with demons" bit.

Either way, when are we going to make her at least neutral? CN is more manageable than CE, even if she displayed incredible restraint until now.

It's not really restraint at all. It's restraint on our part. We've been very careful to only send her to places we don't give a damn about.

But yeah, CN as a long-term goal.
