Huh. That little experience for a monster that can mass mind-wipe everything up to gods and whole pantheons themselves?

On one hand - "Mommy interaction, yay!"
On the other hand - fucken mercs for whom we've foregone digging through priceless knowledge-stash.
*Sigh*
Decisions, decisions...

Well, Uthero should have been making inquiries about companies, and we've should have had reports from those people we stuck in Lys and other similar news.

@DragonParadox what do we know about the companies Uthero has contacted and our intelligence reports on companies whose contracts are open or about to expire?

In lieu of a lot of information, we should probably go through Uthero the Only.

Off topic but Joffery is still the vicious idiot prince from the books that we all know and hate, right?

Your own intelligence gathering abilities have not been focused on finding mercenaries but most of the companies seem to be under contract, or in the case of the Golden Company gone. One thing you might want to do is look into your Dothraki, they should have made it by now

With any luck the idiot will call a demon down on himself by brunch.

That or piss off a magic user one too many times and wake up with his internal organs coming out of his mouth backwards.
That's actually a bad thing, as much as him being a good person. We need him to remain his canon self for as long as we can so when we challenge him for the throne he will do half of our work for us.

Except that our Dothraki are absolutely useless for attacking a city on an island. They will be useful for stabilizing the tyroshi part of the Disputed Lands, but nothing more.

@Diomedon, dropping by to instruct our Dothraki and then right off to Uthero? Unless he has something tangible, we might as well do something useful with the other day that is left over.

Right. I don't see any other option than to go see Uthero/Sealord/Iron Bank and see what they turned up. We did ask them to look into it for us. The only other thing we could do is try to get a company to break it's existing contract, but without a clear IC reason to pursue that...

Our brazier should be up by now, right?

[X] Use the brazier to make contact with your allies in Braavos to see what they turned up.
-[X] If some are available, you'll want to personally meet and measure their worth.
-[X] If no full companies were available through their contacts, instead teleport to check in on your Dothraki.
[X] Before you teleport out, introduce your mother to your remaining close companions (Waymar, Garin, and Maelor), Lady Alinor, our stewardess, Ser Gerold, our guard captain, and Valaena Velaryon, who you sort of kidnapped on her father's suggestion.
-[X] She's free to come to you with questions, but you know of your tendency to hare off on some errand or other. You suspect she'll be spending a lot of time with Dany, but you'd encourage her to associate with Tyene, who is a very astute judge of character and likely is the best informed about the goings on in your "court," such as it is. Valaena too went through a...fairly rapid adjustment period, and might prove someone good to talk to.
[X] Quietly request Tyene to ensure when she informs Doran of Rhaella's return that he understands we did not pass over Elia for this, but was the fruit of years of work that could not be re-targeted. However, it is proof it can be done, and we already have begun work towards Elia.

Unless I'm mistaken, we can use the brazier to place a call, right? So talk, then decide where to teleport?

We should also specify if arrangements need to be made for Rhaella.

The braziers are done, so I would assume that Lya warded the office in Braavos and dropped it off while we where gone.

Personally, I now definitely want to diplomance the Second Sons to betray Tyrosh. The lack of sellswords is rather worrisome.
Guess we will have to do this solo after all.
