@DragonParadox, can we put some time in to have our party members actively learn different languages? For example, I want Waymar to teach Viserys the Old Tongue in preparation for diplomancing Giants.

Precious dragonseeds became hedgemages? RIP.

The thing to remember is that a good chunk of the population of Dragonstone is dragonseeds. They are not that rare.

Sure.

Night guys, see you in the morning with NW diplomacy.

Ok, I'm back and bigbow has not voted yet so...

Shall we go about offering contructs for the watch and a dispatch of legions now and then? We could offer them a copy of the map beyond the wall (minus ruins with treasures) as we'll need to hone our recruits for worse weather fighting.

Of course they may think that we're wanting to invade The North but what if we try to push the idea of a trading post?

Well the next coming turn, if we could summon outsiders as scholarium teachers... Goddamnit dornish forced us to give up Velen!

Monkey's paw tower... this makes me eligible to the Salt-bloodline.

When we eventually inherit some unsullied we should offer to regrow their testes. We already know that we can regrow arms by turning people into starfish. Since starfish gonads are in their arms we should be able to do so.

Too much, too fast. Start small and work our way up as they get used to us throwing supplies and stuff at them.

I'd start with basic supplies, armor, weapons, the map we got, and what recruits we can find (admitting there wont be many).

Actually, I think I'll just write up a vote. One moment.

Their reaction will be incomprehension as ten years of Unsullied programming doesn't go away just because someone says their free.

Everyone needs to know Westerosi Common, for instance. Valyrian is kind of a special case in that if you know one dialect, you can sort of communicate through the gap of all of them, and High Valyrian makes this universally the case.

And aside from that, even more so than Valyrian, if you know one of the Elemental languages derived from Primordial, you can communicate with anyone speaking any of them.

So everyone should know either Ignan or Terran at least. Aquan could be learned from one of the Tritons. And there is probably some perk to communicating with an Outsider in their plane using the local tongue.

Sure, but that's a mostly separate problem. We'll effectively be their master regardless, but that doesn't mean we can't try to undo the damage. Giving them their testes back will allow us to completely undo the damage.

Uh oh...puberty might be especially troublesome for Waymar now... :o

"Completely undo the damage".

You can fix a body but you can't un-indoctrinate a mind.

You could however re-indoctrinate them. Consistently treating them like human beings, challenging their mental framework, encouraging critical thinking, giving them something to wrap their heads around and challenge them (ending slavery, fighting monsters, whatever) is probably what you're looking for.

But it is a lot of work. You'd be better off doing it with key people (your Grey Worms and Heroes, their "leaders" as it were) and then encouraging them to do the same in turn.

If we were going to push for everyone to learn a single language, it should be Draconic. It's as close to a universal language as we're going to find outside the Material Plane.
