I am imagining Maelor making a pact with Naberius, walking into a lecture, immediately interrupting whoever is speaking by breaking into the subject's topic, delivering the lecture better than the instructor, and openly mocking anyone who tries to interrupt him.

And of course by that point he'd be Level 17+, so I mean, what're they gonna do, throw him out? :lol
Well, if that's what a level 17+ decides to do with his time the instructor should be glad he's doing it.
And the students will learn two things that day, whatever he's talking about and that they shouldn't interrupt him.

Hey guys joffrey is what like 3 maybe 5 years old right now right? Do you guys think his alignment would already be lawful evil or chaotic evil or whatever evil he is?

So that was alot of pages for a feral dragon. If you had been this into getting Viserys a mount you should have supported my idea of having dragonblood crossbred with an iguana or something.

But noo, that's gross, Viserys cant take one for the team.

Besides, technically we have lots of dragons to ride, they're just too small and doesn't hatch. Viserys uses his dragon as a writing implement!

(Alright what's up with Xor, Lya, weirwoods, and pendragons procreating by splitting. Have we stumbled on a theme? :wtf: Perhaps we should cut of an arm from the Starfish and grow a second Waymar too?)

... and about 2 generations after they discovered the secret of parthenogenesis they launched a simultaneous invasion of both the Abyss and the Nine Hells - which is still ongoing.

OTOH, I'd argue that due it's name, precocious apprentice, it's almost meant to be retrained.

It represents mono-focus on a single spell such as to perform something beyond your current abilities, yet it's sort of in the name that, at some point, it's expected of you to naturally perform at that level.
By the way, I'd read that it represents reading ahead of the spells your master is teaching you and by talent and luck getting a may-or-my-not working spell out of it.

It's a personality trait more than a feat focussed on a single spell, the typical Wizard's Apprentice managing to animate brooms without knowing how to Dispel.

But now that I'm thinking about it replacing it with Practiced Spellcaster is kinda perfect in that narrative. By now he's not an apprentice reaching for spells beyond his skill, but an experienced Sorcerer. Completly fitting character-growth.

I think @TotallyNotEvil is relativly often asleep around this time, so here it is with one alteration.

I have no idea what this will do but I am voting for it to fit in :p

// I dislike Fiendish Heritage for narrative reasons - the way I understand Maelor, he's more likely to distance himself from his fiendish heritage than embrace it.

Might as well move this along. By the way, we've got to remember to get around to crafting Glyra a Belt of Healing. That's been put off for way too long.

I have no issue with him using it.
He has fiendish heritage anyway, obvious in his form, spells and abilities, might as well make the most of it.
Not like the early discussion on Viserys, for whom Fiend Blooded would have been a mechanically good class with a narrative price attached.

I remember that one of the biggest reasons Maelor went into learning magic besides his Warlock abilities is that he wants versatility and the Heritage could give him more of that, with the summoning and teleport, so it would make sense.

It's just not as good as some other options.

If he had more feats to spare I would have gone into Abyssal Heritor feat for him, but magic is priority.

How about a map of Westeros; With each and every weirwood marked out, and whatever else landmarks Brynden has view and knowledge off.

Adventure map, get.
@Fehu, I want to make a note of this now, we don't have the right materials for Bloodraven to make a map of Westeros south of the Wall. :(

However, we're due to visit him again when we come to pick up the dragonpen to get all the extra lore he promised, so we're absolutely going to be bringing the materials for another map.

@Duesal, I would recommend we make multiple trips to visit Bloodraven, and have him do one or two regional maps at a time, so that we're guaranteed to get the same quality and focus as the Far North, which is probably the size of two Kingdoms put together.

Which leaves time for touching base or going over some politics.

I was already going to ask him to make regional maps. :p

One giant map for all of Westeros, and one large map for each of the kingdoms.

Maybe maps of Essos as well, if he can manage it, but I won't hold my breath. I'll take what we can get.

We are going to get so much fucking lore from this guy. milk him dry I tell you.

Hey guys are we going to ban worship of the Seven in Westeros? Cause I do not like them that much and they seem like dicks to me.

I vote no. Just asking for Trouble with a capital T right there.

I know but they ban magic we are a fucking magic dragon thats anathema to us if nothing else. They also aren't likely to care for non humans of which we soon will be. We should at least add worship to the Old Gods to the country even if the old gods don't particularly care if they are worshiped by mortals or not.

On another note does viserys have anything against homosexuality? The Seven certainly do.

One thing to remember is that the Far North has the most weirwoods where as places like the Reach have almost none.

Banning worship of the Seven will accomplish the opposite. We'd have an uprising of zealots, an increase in the Faith Militant and Sons of the Warrior, an influx of martyrs, etc.

No, no banning. Instead we're going to create a schism in the Faith. One side that'd be happily subservient to us and willing to play nice with magic and other gods, and another side that wants us dead. Then we'll crush the side that's against us and have the realm cheer as we do it.

I was afraid of that. :( @DragonParadox, could we purchase a map of Westeros and maps of each of the Kingdoms and just have Bloodraven make whatever improvements he can? Locations of weirwoods, locations of ruins and dungeons, etc? It won't be as extensive as Beyond the Wall, I can accept that, but it should still be a lot better than any normal map.
