The Source is the Source. The Elaine-Presence-Source trinity makes no more sense to me than the canonical one.
NB It's only canon for Athanasian-creed-derived denominations, and apparently that's only been in use since the sixth century. Admittedly that includes the Roman Catholic Church and thus a vast majority of Protestants, but not all of Christianity, and certainly not Islam etc.

I'm more or less OK with said creed (despite not embracing it myself) talking about three "distinct person"s with equal glory and majesty, up until it says "there are not three," at which point I say it has contradicted itself.

Ah... Perfect amount of salt on my popcorn.

But seriously, I'm having fun with this story. Entirely too much of it, perhaps. Good job, Zoat. Felt like we needed some positivity in the room. We can return to the salt mines now. :)

Like said I really do hope that Paul brings in Thana and/or Adom into the interview considering the likely subject matter.

Ok I must have missed something but WHY is Paul working with/for the League when he doesn't event respect them after the Nabu thing?
It seems like he volunteered to do extra work even after confirming with Batman that "Nope nothing has changed still full of hypocrites don't think the league did anything wrong but you on the other hand...."
I don't get it, this last chapter is another WTF moment as if Batman is all knowing and still doesn't respect Paul his message or his goals so and Why?

Didn't you say the same thing about Lucifer and The Specter?
Probably. Though I will have Lucifer turn up for a grand total of 1-2 segments right near then end, assuming we're all still alive at that point.

Because a) he still likes and admires a lot of League associated people and b) he believes that he'll do more working with them than going completely iconoclastic.

NT= Neurotypical, which is the most derogatory way I've ever heard of saying someone lacks mental disorders.

I've never heard it being used in a derogatory manner beyond, like, "ignorant foreigner" levels. Which, let's face it, a majority of neurotypicals kind of are when it comes to understanding how our minds work.

I think it's useful to have a word for that other than "healthy". Not everyone with mental disorders feels, or indeed are, particularly "disordered", and that term is in itself somewhat derogatory. Some disorders lead to people who are unable to cope, or are unstable, and who need help, but it seems to me that some other "disorders" are really just differences prevalent enough to be categorized, but not prevalent enough to be normalized. It's more like cultural differences on a micro, or individual, scale, at that point. Being annoyed when those people acknowledge that and try to categorize you in return, and only to find a term that doesn't denigrate themselves, seems, at best, a bit rude.

I've never been fishing anywhere, particularly not in the Northern Territory.
And you don't ever want to either, not without a 40ft boat, and being quite a ways above the water line. Quite a ways.

NT is KB's Rational. Or Northern Territory.

So a lot of people got telephoto upskirt shots of a guy wearing a Thanagarian bird-helmet and there are riots around the world?
Damnit. I had a post for this, but you beat me to it. I should just never sleep.

Ah, I've got it! This is how the Thanagarians in the DCU parallel the Renegade visited got everyone on Earth to trust them so quickly; everyone assumed they were angels!

It all makes sense now.

"No. I saw a forest and a magic bloke with wings. The fact that it matches a creation myth doesn't prove anything. I've met Hera and I don't believe that the Titans created the universe."
Doesn't mean they couldn't have played a part!

Time is a circle, just as much as "he" is also a curmudgeon who prefers to be left well alone by his children, (The Endless), with an appearance that ages and youthens at random.

The Future influences the Past, just as much as The Past influences the Future.

And given the power that beliefs and dreams have on reality, well...

I find this bit from the Gunnerkrigg Court, in regards to the chronological inconsistencies in creation mythologies, to explain it best... at least somewhat.

After all, humans aren't the only ones with hearts and minds in The Universe, now are they?
