So we have terms like shaman, elementalist, spiritualist, thaumaturge... what do we call a Dreaming/Dream Magic specialist?

Brian is awesome. "Why do so many metas advertise their powers in their names? If I had the power to walk through walls, I'd call myself Concrete-Man."Don't forget the one in Washington, DC.
When I was working on Compassion's Light, and creating what I thought was a more sensible DC Universe, I had an SCU branch in most major cities. It just makes sense, and while Hawk and Dove was alright at best, I really liked how they had an SCU branch outside of Metropolis.
EDIT: Also, I like how ComicVine doesn't give Captain Arsala an Attractive Male power like they do for most comics characters. No love for the mullet?
Obviously Nappists. So we have terms like shaman, elementalist, spiritualist, thaumaturge... what do we call a Dreaming/Dream Magic specialist?
About the part about steel not being bendy :
Actually, steel can bend pretty well. That's why it's better than cast-iron for making swords, and why it's used to make springs.
If you want to talk about stuff that don't bend well, glass so the stuff you want to talk about. Thing is terrible at it (and break when you try too hard to bend it).
As in, the Magic of Consensus, and/or Oneiromancy, the manipulation and divination through use and understanding of Dreams?
It's so nice that even you can't technically bring your power-ring into the Dreaming, one can still make use of it if it's still worn by it's wielder, recording EVERYTHING that's being experienced!Anyone - The Bestselling Romantic Spy Thriller I Used To Think About On The Bus That Would Sell A Billion Copies And Mean I'd Never Have to Work Again

I was speaking of room temperature materials. Cooling and heating stuff change their plasticity (usually cold stuff is fragile, hot stuff is malleable, with variations depending of which material we're talking about).Nope. You can bend glass if you heat it. That's how a lot of glass junk is made.
Skepsimancer, literally thought-wizard. That's basically what such a mage would be, turning ideas into reality and back.So we have terms like shaman, elementalist, spiritualist, thaumaturge... what do we call a Dreaming/Dream Magic specialist?
Also could someone that knows about the Endless say a bit about how the Dreaming matters to the rest of reality outside of it's realm? All that comes to mind for me is "reality warping" in terms of how it effects stuff.
Someone liked that part and paid to have it guilded.Does anyone know why part 6 of this ark is marked as "guilded"? It only seems to be in the story only thread.
But out calculations show that other possibilities are far more likely."

You're generally correct, inasmuch as people who see themselves as victims tend to oppose capitalism while people who see themselves as agents tend to support it. And I was specifically talking about the orange light BECAUSE wielding it grants you the power necessary to be an agent, and when power is coupled with self-interest then we agree that the result is capitalist by default.Perhaps in this particular story the orange light is inherently capitalist, but I wouldn't say self-interest (which the orange light represents) is inherently capitalist. Support for capitalism is only in line with your self-interest if you believe you'll be one of the elite; one reason capitalism is so popular is that it is very, VERY good at getting people to believe they will one day be rich themselves, and that they just haven't made it yet, when in reality it mostly comes down to luck and circumstance. And even then, capitalism is only inherently better from a self-interested perspective if you value being better off THAN others more than you value simply being better off.
And even ignoring DIRECT benefit to you, everyone else being better off still benefits you in a self-interested way, as it results in more people having the freedom to create art (some of which you will probably appreciate), advance science, etc, all of which you can benefit from even in absence of compassion.
No, that's still horrifying. Dorians are from Greece. Durians are the stinky-but-tasty fruit."I happened to mention that I ate a bunch of Dorians a while back, and some guys from the Legion who were in hearing gave me this horrified expression for some reason."
"I thought they were a little loud for fruit."No, that's still horrifying. Dorians are from Greece. Durians are the stinky-but-tasty fruit.
Sort of? If I remember my DC lore correctly, gods, or rather godhoods, are born of the Dreaming, the realm of, well, Dream of the Endless. Which makes sense, seeing as they're concepts taken form. So Dream is the reason gods exist, and his power is the manifestation of stories, dreams, and legends. So, essentially, yes, belief in a mythos creates that mythos, by way of Dream.
You would think someone as well versed in the mystic arts as Magala would have just done some magical cosmetic surgery to fix her look. The Greek Gods saw fit to give her a new look when they reincarnated her by putting her soul in a clay statue. But oddly they didn't do the same for Magala, so she was stuck looking like a cavewoman.

The main difference is that while Nabu is constantly acting on the world, the Silver City appears to not be. Despite significant demonic activity. If it was chaos doing something like that Nabu and Co would be all over that. This suggests that either they're pretty hands off or they simply don't care.Forest for the tree's.
He researched the garden, but he didn't really do any research on the Angel's or the Silver City. And that makes his continued complete and utter disregard for any possible consequences almost nonsensical. Because that disregard would be one thing if he thought, due to said research, that the group in question either wasn't able to or wasn't going to respond. But without that, well, it just becomes completely out of character for the guy who spent months planning out in meticulous detail how too take down Nabu.

Actually, I've been looking for a small project like this. It should be relatively simple to write a script to look through a word document, find all instances of "human ", "demon ", "dog " or things like that and capitalize it. Don't think it would even require regex if it's simple enough. I'll look into it.
On a Word document, sure. The 'replace' function will do that. It's transferring that to posts here that would be a fag (UK).Actually, I've been looking for a small project like this.
