Shepard Quest Mk VII, Age of Revy (ME/MCU)

Yes means Shepard will deploy onto the battlefield. No means Shepard will deploy on the battlefield. using a custom hidden QEC system installed onto one of her Parsec ships to remote pilot her suit. said suit will have a self destruct measure of course. In either case the enemy will think Shepard is actually on the front line and not focus on your planets. Shepard really does not like the Batarians.

try to remember iron man 3
Fuck yeah! Warface let's GOOOOOOOOO!!! My dream of remote control/telepresence Doom-bot armies (eventually...) is a go.

Oh so it will be like she's making it a video game. I guess this works if it can still give her combat experience and knowledge as to what to improve for her suit down the line.

I wonder if she'll have Cortana give her a scoreboard that goes up as she kills Batarians.

the Xenophobia might also be overstated, being just large enough to tip the scales in elections and very vocal about their issues.
It is worth noting that the Earth First voting block controls 40% of the Alliance Parliament:
While the Systems Alliance's progressive faction has welcomed what assistance has been offered, the Terra Firm party has released a statement much more in keeping with their party line, "We don't need any alien help. We don't want any alien help. This situation shows why Humanity must be strong enough to stand on its own and it will. We will rise to the occasion and prove to the entire Galaxy that we do have what it takes. So please stay out of it. We'll deal with this." It should be noted that the Terra Firm party is substantial force in human affairs and along with other Earth first factions controls 40% of the seats in the Systems Alliance Parliament. A number likely to grow in the future.
Presumably the Progressives control the other 60% given the Alliance generally doesn't act like Terra Firma but that is more then a simple vocal minority.

True, but there are other reasons that voters might be backing it. Desire to consolidate power on earth. Protection for the corporations on earth, who don't have quite the reach or ability to expand into council space, by keeping "alien" corporation off earth. Seeing/believing the alliance is overreaching their expansion efforts, or are moving to change the structure of the alliance to fast.
Terra Firma seems to be the only one pushing their agendas, so they back them and quietly ignore the loud voices in the other portion of the party. believing that those that they are backing will only toss that group small scraps to make them content, and not the whole meal.

the belief might be correct, or it might be false. depends on where the plot dictates where it needs to go.

And if even 5% of those backing Terra firma are Racist, that still a heck of a lot of people.

Speaking of those idiots, what are their options for dealing with us?

We're pretty hard to assassinate, and have more political and monetary capital than the rest of humanity combined.

Hard to have an Earth First party when everything belongs to a company based in the colonies.

Generally speaking their opinions are mixed. On one hand we are pretty clearly a Progressive; we have no issues selling to, dealing with, or otherwise aiding aliens. On the other hand we are also very clearly Pro-Human and working hard to lift humanity up so it can stand besides the aliens as peers rather then begging them for scraps like the rest of the Progressives. Similarly we are quite clearly a child of the colonies but we have also thrown several valuable contracts towards Earth based firms.

Something worth noting is that our Arc-Reactor backed shields saved the current head of Terra Firma from assassination:
Attempted Assassination of Claude Menneau
Claude Menneau, one of the two candidates for leadership of the Terra Firma Party, escaped an assassination attempt by one of his guards and the pilot of his ship. Mr. Menneau credits his survival to the arc-reactor powered shielding he had recently obtained.

"While I am not 100% behind her politics, I can definitely say that Dr. Rebecca Shepard delivers a good product."

Both the pilot and guard were killed and no leads regarding who was behind the assassination attempt have been found yet.

"I'm not saying it was my opponent, but I have little doubt the attack was politically motivated" said Mr. Menneau

The polls now show Claude Menneau with a five point lead over his opponent...
That said we were also told the best thing we could do to build goodwill would be to establish some facilities on Earth:
Terra Firma is above all else an Earth-centric party. As it stands PI being a colonial company puts you at odds with their general policy. They're going to have to see something from you first before they're willing to support you. Opening facilities on Earth is going to score you far more credit with them than anything else. However, the Party leader does say that he will discourage members from getting in your way on issues that aren't a primary part of Terra Firma's plat
and the system change kinda screwed with our plans for Project Earthfall so we didn't end up following through on that.

I wonder what Terra Firma would think about the idea thrown around in thread about Revy's next philanthropy target being QoL improvements for Earth via a mass donation of Arcologies?

Some unknow element in the war? Military won't like it and if you can't tell them you are friendly fast enough, you are likely to get shot, because when something they didn't know appear in battle, they are on enemy side, most of the time.

ParSec forces have been working with the Alliance since the start of the war.
