We Are the Gods of a New World Order [Warhammer 50K ~ Warp God Simulator]

Dana cannot be used on Infiltration Actions like Eyes on the Auxilla. Downside of her Sincerity that makes her so good at Charity and Preaching.
"Head desk"
Ya ever get that feeling where ya say something but have a niggling doubt for whatever reason? That was me just now.
Damn goodie two shoes being so nice to everyone, cant be sneaky to save their life.

So, tell the truth about our Dad screwing the population over, poke into the ranching province (it's another kind of farming - we may find a new way to help people with miracles of life), look for any convenient remaining threats that might prod Dad into continuing to bunker down and letting us handle it instead of crushing us, and look for another hero unit:
[ ] Tell me how you really feel! (DC 50)
-[ ] (Attached Cult Tokens)
-[ ] (Available Domains: Connection)

You've got kind of a funny reputation, but that's backed with your people's philanthropic efforts and the fact you've got a bunch of cute girls in scary battlesuits that can just generally brutalize the aliens. It does make it hard to get a read on how people actually think about you that aren't already part of the big mess. Maybe see if you've got anyone with a better head on their shoulders who can get to the bottom of this?

I put Connection on Counter Propaganda instead of Spread the Word because, despite the probably lower DC (30+ suggests it could be higher than 30), the former seems like the one where it's more important to not settle for a partial success.

You know given the danger of losing and the apparent rarity of people like Dana (as well as the Maiden's kindness) I wonder if we could save her if we do lose here.

@Alectai if it looks like we are going to lose can we pull Dana into the Warp and then push her out somewhere else in the galaxy to try again, or should we focus on having that ship working for a quick getaway?

How's about switching Dana with the Militia action and having Manpower on Propaganda for Hearts and Mind's?
Seem's like no issue there as it's not infiltration and better odds of success overall.

Well yes but the DC is 30 for Propaganda while the Militia DC is 50
There would be 20 guaranteed for Propaganda with manpower and connections while we can afford the militia screwing up with Dana to fix any mishaps

Okay, my plan doesn't seem to be gaining any momentum for my current plan, and there were some good points made in discord about how "Tell me how you really feel!" might be an action to try to recruit a new Hero Unit for our cult.

And as more Hero Units means more actions that we can use to snowball into victory, I'm making a new plan taking it to account.

[X] Plan Bell And Dagger
-[X] Counter Propaganda (DC 30+)
--[X] Hero Unit: Dana (1 Use Left)
-[X] Tell me how you really feel! (DC 50)

As people really didn't seem interested in Death Domain for the militia, as well as the greater need to put one Divine Token to the potential Hero Unit recruitment action, I went with just two Tokens for the militia. This way, with Connection and Weaving they should be at least more coordinated and durable, and so able to stubornly hold ground against any aggression while calling for help from our more stronger troops.

I think with most plans, it's just that there are enough other places that need a boost that the militia can't have all three possible domains attached, and Death is the least-mandatory one. Can I interest you in going for the action for finding unknown threats instead of the action for raising a militia? That one only has two applicable domains listed, so we can afford to apply the maximum number to it, and it may provide a useful excuse for raising the militia next turn without provoking retaliation from Dad. If there's another threat, he's more likely to do what he did while the Flayer threat was around - namely, do nothing to stop us from building up to handle the problem for him.

It's worth pointing out that we have a +5 Omake bonus to a Kinetic action this turn, and so taking one of them is probably wise.

I'd like to see us do some growth, but getting out ahead of opposing propaganda is really important.

I'm not comfortable at delaying it even for a single turn, for reasons I have listed in the thread already. We need only one bad roll in how the Governor reacts at that particular turn, and we might be suffering a devastating blow to our whole cult. Not to mention potential assault from the forces of the Nightbringer. And as we really can't afford risks things at this point yet, I'm going for an ounce of prevention instead of a pound of cure in this case.

Good point. New plan:

[X] Plan Double Down
-[X] Counter Propaganda (DC 30+)
--[X] Hero Unit Dana (1 use left)
-[X] Tell me how you really feel! (DC 50)
--[X] Manpower Token (1 use left)
--[X] Domains: Connection (3 uses left)
-[X] A Well Armed Militia (DC 50)
--[X] Hero Unit Dana (0 use left)
--[X] Manpower Token (0 uses left)
--[X] Domains: Connection, Weaving, Death (0 Uses Left)

Best possible militia. Can we get another hero unit out of this if we super-crit?
