Only famous Force-sensitive who used an axe was King Adas.

Adas

Adas was king of Korriban and the Sith in a reign that lasted nearly three hundred years. He was large for his species, his skin was unusually charcoal-colored, and he was raised as a chosen being from his youth. Encasing himself in ebon armor, he wielded a massive battle-ax, and became a master...
The only guy that beat the Rakartans head on at their height, pretty good sign for axes as force user weapons.

Technically yes the force is capable of doing so, although as far as I am aware the only recorded times that it's happened have been with dark siders and could have been due to them being too distracted by their emotions in a fight.
Well, I seem to remember somewhere that a group of assassins trained to kill Jedi used strong emotions to confuse jedi and reduce their ability to notice and respond to their Force provided danger sense...

So probably the latter?

Ouch, I might be pissed at Obi too. He has been around the guy a fair bit and talked about relationships (in general) quite a bit. You would think that would sink it. Plus, depending on how empathic he is he should know that funny business is off the table.

Obi-Wan in canon wasn't good at trusting people/reading their emotional states right. Otherwise, he wouldn't have had as much trouble with Anakin (if you ignore all of Anakin's own trust issues and sundry) as he did.

"Kira, why did you chop up all those people with an axe?!"

"Because Force users chopping up people with lightsabers is just so overdone."

Found it:

Lizzie Borden took an ax
And gave her mother forty whacks,
And when she saw what she had done,
She gave her father forty-one.
I've actually got a love for this podcast "lore" that did a pretty solid dive into this story. She was tried but in the end the evidence was inconclusive and she was let go. Which did not stop the court of public opinion naturally. Really weirdly she then took her massive inheritance and bought a big ass mansion in the same town and parked herself their for the rest of her natural life despite the deep suspicion of the locals and the fact the kids would sing that little rhyme about her. Whole thing was just odd as fuck. Nowadays the house where the murder took place is a tourist attraction and home to some really heavy duty paranormal activity claims. If I'm not getting my stories mixed up that includes a guy who did his best to reset the original scene with props, blacked out and woke up with a knife in his shoulder that he claims he couldn't have stabbed himself with due to the angle and forces it would have required. Which either shows a hell of a lot of dedication to making a hoax, serious mental instability, accidental self hypnosis through expectations, or some of the most violent proof of the paranormal if you are a believer.

While reading this chapter, I had a thought: Could the Force give incorrect 'danger-sense' results to someone? (e.g. telling a Force-sensitive slaver that the unobstructed escape route is dangerous and the one that the police-or-local-equivalent have already blocked off is safe)
The Force gives you (limited) precog, so as long as another force user isn't around, or (in)directly impacted, it works (mostly) fine. Do bear in mind that people also change with time, it's likely that at the beginning of the relationship she would have received no forewarning because there was nothing to warn against, and that the dude developed these tendencies with time (and/or work?)

The big issue is that with more and more people having (limited) precog due to these videos the previous caveate becomes larger and larger.

Oof, yeah, wouldn't be a fun feeling to have people you've been traveling with make that kind of accusation. Though hopefully this'll be the last time they level that kind of accusation against him.
protag just needs to return the accusation against him.
Something to turn Obi-wan's "John" from <implying that I believe you only want to help her to get her in your bed> to something like <implying that if you pick her up I want her too> would be fun.

Sounds like Lizzie refused to be run out of town and was forcing them to acknowledge her, probably the townsfolk were assholes to her even before the murders. It kind of reeks of abuse from her parents to her, with the townsfolk ignoring the abuse that they did to her even if it was in front of them, and her forcing them to acknowledge the dirty secret?

Don't know, but as I was writing that last sentence I felt a chill on the back of my neck, also some itching, and maybe a little shaking... So I think I will drop it now, really kind of creeped out as it showed up when writing that...

So how is everyone? This is a good story and I enjoy the new chapter, also wish you luck with your muse...

for force danger sense being indiscriminate. I like to think of the scene of dooku getting spaced in the harry potter crossover the havoc side of the force.

Dooku was about to get spaced by anakin slapping the off button for the atmospheric shield out of a trade droid control ship and the force screamed at dooku who could not tell what it was warning it about except that the danger was great and imminent and could not tell what form the danger would take as he looked around the hanger he was in and his fallen opponent. man ended up getting sucked towards the bulkhead that slammed down to seal the room from space and impacted it like a bug on a windshield faster than he could react.

Maybe that's why the sith are so murder happy. Less force user means less people for the force to give headpats to.
No, my friend, that's the Baneite Sith the Old Sith were more building a vast Empire to show the Force how powerful they were. The Baneite Sith are the jealous Tsundere the Old Sith were more Gilgamesh from Fate I would say.

Yesterday before posting my comment I actually watched a whole 48 Hours episode about her. From what they said it's practically guaranteed that she killed them. They found the hatchet head of the murder weapon hidden in a box of tools with an obviously fresh break from the missing shaft and ash covering the axe head, to hide stains.

There was a tiny bit of blood on her that she claimed was menstrual, but the day after her father's funeral she burnt a dress she claimed was ruined by paint. Also in her trial the defense managed to get the fact that she tried to buy actual poison the day before the murder was not put into evidence.

Also, she very obviously made sure her step-mom was dead first so that her father's inheritance would go to her instead of her step-mom's sister.

If she was tried nowadays it would be a slam dunk, but back then they didn't want to believe a woman was capable of such brutality.

We've gone super off-topic, I know, but where else am I going to flex this useless knowledge I acquired.

Hmm, for a non-force sensitive to begin with, I wonder how much use it is in trying to train yourself in the force vs. standard observational and defensive techniques. In terms of trying to stay out of trouble at least.

I'm pretty sure autocorrupt got you. It's Corellia, not Corilla

Paper does exist in the Galaxy Far Far Away, but it's rarely used. Most hard-copy documents are printed on something called "flimsiplast," or "flimsi."

To the best of my knowledge, what that is has never been explained, but context clues suggest that it's just like paper but made from a type of plastic.

Of course, most documents are stored on something called "tapes," despite looking like five-and-a-quarter-inch floppy discs and having no actual tape involved, and read on datapads.

I seem to have lost track of where this tangent is related to the story. Why are we talking about this again? Some character sharing a name with a Death Note character?

Maybe we should find a more story-related subject....

I just started the story ,I can't bring myself to like the mc , his all knowning attitude kind put me off. He got this gary stu energy, doe he get better?
