Ha ha, I love your Amy. "The healer who's done with your shit" is one of my favorite archetypes in any case, but you do it so well!
This seems really odd; what can't Taylor do? Sure, she may not be aware of the best thing to do, but it's weird for her to see herself as powerless.
How would this work? If you swung the blade against something, surely it would cleave through the nanomaterial just like it would cleave its target? It rendered it useless until I moved the nanomaterial back to the flats
I'm confused as to how much growing the tree did... if it was a lot, where did the biomass come from? More importantly, since Panacea didn't put the tree back, why does no one notice the weird deformed tree that just appeared? If the tree only grew a little, how did it stop Menja? It was so easy, almost too easy, to push the tree at her side to grow, to sculpt it into a tangle of branches that placed it right in Menja's way, the growth happening far faster than anything she'd ever done with people.
Its roots probably, depending on the type of tree the roots can account for anywhere from a third to over three quarters of the tree's actual physical mass. Combine that with some biological restructuring so that it maintains sufficient strength even as it gets longer and thinner and you've got yourself aI'm confused as to how much growing the tree did... if it was a lot, where did the biomass come from? ever seen Ben 10 Alien force?A great new chapter, but I don't think I understand how Taylor is able to jump and run on things she creates.
She creates shield panels that are stationary in the air unless she wants to move them. Which Haruna at least could do well enough to imitate a telekinetic. They aren't bound to a specific distance from her body unless she wants them to be.A great new chapter, but I don't think I understand how Taylor is able to jump and run on things she creates.
-why? It's not like they can kill themselves with their power. Likely the worst that could happen is dislocated joints.-but if they try to grow I'll have to keep increasing the size so they don't crush themselves.

And Relentless answering she's basically a nanite swarm since triggering.Very nice. Good exposure for Relentless and New Wave. I predict complications resulting from Panacea basically soling one of the twins, even if it's still a net win for everyone but the Nazis.
Taylor told Leah to get comfortable and left her in Taylor's room. Odds are decent Leah was lying on Taylor's bed. Now picture Danny waking up to check on Taylor only to find Leah on her bed. Some quick talking to explain that no she isn't sleeping with Taylor and just where Taylor has sneaked off to would explain her removing the mic.Really though I want to know what Leah wasn't saying during all of that. My knee-jerk reaction is to say it's something about how Taylor and Vicky are interacting, though what about it is so funny I'm not sure. Probably missing something.
I was surprised when reading the end of the fight to see that Relentless didn't seem to escalate when Brandish was injured and it looked like Menja would escape. It is fine to practice when you are untouchable and your side is winning but once her allies started going down I'd have expected Relentless to step things up.Anyways! What do you think? I really enjoyed the beginning, personally. Amy was an absolute bundle of joy to write, but I'd still very much appreciate feedback about what you thought of her section, if not the entire chapter.
doesn't really make it feel like Relentless had actually started using her wave force and such and was just continuing to play around with her sword.Further down the street Flashbang and Relentless had doubled down on Fenja
