If amazon fixes the item and sells it back to you as the original one two days ago, then you just perfectly described a Djinn Particle. ^^ An object that exists only as part of a temporal loop, with no point at which it enters or exits that temporal loop.

These are theorized to actually exist as a result of quantum fluctuations in the vacuum energy field. To us who follow time's arrow forwards, they appear as a spontaneously-appearing particle/anti-particle pair, and annihilate when their own opposed charges draw them back together again, resulting in a net change of 0 energy. Hawking radiation at the surface of black holes is evidence that this theory is accurate.
 
It is important to remember that just because we three dimensional beings perceive the fourth dimension as being a linear progression, that doesn't actually mean it is. It is to us, but we're not the only things in the universe.

Of course, if the string theorists are right about M-theory, then 'time' is just how x-dimensional entities perceive dimension x+1 (a hypothetical 2D entity would perceive the third dimension as time). Which is both confusing and enlightening.
 
Pretty sure spatial and temporal dimensions actually have different properties. Physics with more than one temporal dimension behaves weird.

My maths skills are nowhere near what's required for general relativity though, never mind whatever wacky hijinks string theorists get up to these days.

    Probably nothing.

    The nanomaterial was delivered by the Fog, so that can't be taken. The QA portion of the powers on the other hand, are a more nuanced answer, but also probably no.

    Power affecting trumps basically work by their shard talking to the other guy's shard and going "hey dude, shut off the flow for a bit will ya?" or "let me borrow a cup of dimensional juice"

    That works when all the shards are part of the same network, but QA is now taking orders from the Relentless core and is now on a separate network, so requests like that would most likely be denied.

    Depends on the Trump power in question and exactly how QA relates to the rest of the Shard network.

    The Fog is still just technology. Very advanced technology, but just technology. A Trump 'copying' her power is very, very reasonable. The Entities operate a few levels in technology above them.

    Saint was the test type.

    He didn't take it very well.

    Nah, saint would have no problem accepting he's an AI, that would just prove that he was special and justify him being in charge of which AIs get to live and which don't. Saint's issue isn't fear/hate of AI, it's an inferiority complex and a need to prove himself special and heroic.
     
    I believe this ties into him being a Student and relying too heavily on his weakened Thinker power which makes him want to free Teacher to get a boost in his ability to keep up with Dragon.

    He had these issues long before he met Teacher - Saint's obsession with being the special hero saving the world from a threat only he could handle is why he kept Richter's black box rather than taking it to responsible authorities, tortured Dragon till she Triggered, and then sought out Teacher to get him the power needed to keep up with Dragon once she'd Triggered.
    Granted that last probably didn't improve his mental stability, but the basic issues predate his involvement with Teacher.
