Transposition, or: Ship Happens [Worm/Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio | Arpeggio of Blue Steel]

Hugs and pets Ensou

Thank you for update Ensou, thank you very much! Glad to see you back again!

Suggestion: become a Fletcher-class destroyer and charge the problem like a godddamn mad lad.

Do what damage you can.

it took me almost to the end for me to remember that Leah is suppose to be Lisa after getting Revificated.
something somewhat related and incredibly Interesting:

"And well. If you're trying to keep people from figuring out you're a Tinker, what better way than to give them one where they expect it?"
I think I know where this is going. Let someone trail Taylor once to the ex-Graveyard then have her other self Surface and Leah coming out and they pretend to be Taylor's Tinker. They can't go after a Tinker with an entire submarine base nor could they get Relentless to force the Supplier to work for them since she not only is too powerful but also too well stocked already.

although knowing how 'Fics normally go it probably will just be a Public debut of her as the Tinker sidekick or something.

Exposed segments, spine-like armor down the back, hard pieces over the shoulders and forearms, flexible impact-resistant undersuit, antigrav discs and thrust outlets, etc.
reminds me of the Bleeding Edge
I wonder if it will get an Upgrade to Destroyer once it comes time to kill Scion?

That feeling was gone when Leah woke me at three in the morning, her face grim as she stood in the door.

"Taylor, we have a problem."

A mans heart has no right beating as fast as it is now but with the presented evidence (ensou posting Something) I find it an avid enough reason. And I welcome it. Thank you for removing my doubts at the story still being alive and giving a good chapter to boot.

That's fair. I will say that Transposition is one of my higher priorities, next to the less-ambitious stories like Paradoxical, Zizster, and Necrofantasia, so it does tend to get more concentrated attention than the others, which I sort of flit between. At least, when I'm not hitting roadblocks or anything.

Transposition and AFHB are the main ones, right?

*is not sure what Necrofantasia refers to*

Study the looks of some of those submarines from WWII, designs are in existence since 1919 or so.
Some weird shapes that could really work well as a aditional armored hull.
Giving herself another layer.

Somebody spotted the sub when they went aboard, right?

Yay, you're back. And Relentless finally has a boat-body.

Granted it's just a lightly armed submarine at the moment but baby steps am I right?

Supercavataing Torpedoes able to zoom at 400 knots, able to jink like a maniac and also be used like a missile if they break the surface. And having probably having dozens of them.

Yes she's lightly armed. I mean she's probably only got enough firepower to sink a carrier battle group solo before heading to reload

And she's only "lightly armed" because she doesn't have Corrosive Torpedoes get

Huh. Taylor as a nanotech budget Endbringer impersonating a parahuman. I don't think that's how you intended the premise, but it's how it reads to me.

"Taylor, we have a problem."
"All of your friends are white and blonde: me, Vista, and Glory Girl. Now, I know it's not what it looks like, but we live in Brockton Bay--Home of the E88--and people are starting to talk!"

And thus begins the PR Campaign Arc, where Taylor must convince the people of Brockton Bay that she's totally not a neo-Nazi. For reals, guys, come on. So what if she made her debut beating up all those Asian dudes? It's just a coincidence, dammit!

I shook my head. "Not… really? But it's like forty minutes away, driving."

I don't think that's a reasonable amount of time to get around a city. Granted, I haven't spent a lot of time in genuinely urban environments, but I've driven on the streets of cities with populations comparable to Brockton's canon population and the only times it took me that long to get from point A to B within city limits were when it was rush hour and the usual route was closed for construction.

Really? After all this time, and u leave it on a damn cliff hanger!!!???

Glad to see an update. Now would you kindly, crank out that next chapter on A Finely Honed Blade?

Though, I wonder who/what is causing Leah to freak out?

So the boat graveyard mysteriously disappears overnight, and a chunk of run down shipyard is instantly pristine, with the PRT investigating the situation.

Then Taylor and Leah go to said pristine shipyard, and surface a submarine, and stick around for a few hours, in the area the PRT is investigating... And no one shows up to question them?

Isn't her boat yard walled off now? I thought I remembered her mentioning turning the chain link solid, can't go grab a link right now. Regardless, pretty sure Leah is bringing news that someone saw them from a skyscraper and the "Leah as Tinker" may need modification.

MY DREAM HAS FINALLY COME TRUE! AFTER WHAT FELT LIKE A YEAR, AND ACTUALLY MIGHT HAV BEEN, IT FINALLY HAPPENED! I'm so happy. Now, excuse me as I go right to bed now.

Why does it end on another cliffhanger? T_T

(My bet is that Leah's new problem is related to Coil, somehow, for what it's worth.)
