Transposition, or: Ship Happens [Worm/Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio | Arpeggio of Blue Steel]

Ah, one of my favorite watched stories is back. Good to have you back, I am hopeful the next chapter won't be nearly as long of wait as this one.

seriously, what the fuck is with that cliffhanger?
I spent two weeks alone debating over whether I should end it there, and if that was how I should end it. Mostly because it's a plot development I wasn't originally planning on, but is both in-character and supported by canon (as in, it's something that would have happened in canon had certain circumstances played out, as stated by one of the characters themselves), and because I know cliffhangers can be infuriating if overused.

Unfortunately, it works really well here and is appropriate, and it's not like what happened isn't going to be explained within the first two paragraphs of the next chapter.

We know, it's just that I don't think our hearts can handle another year for that cliffhanger to be resolved. It doesn't matter if it solved within a couple paragraphs if those paragraphs take a year to arrive. Please tell us your muse is in full force! We can't take the wait for your incredible writing!

That's fair. I will say that Transposition is one of my higher priorities, next to the less-ambitious stories like Paradoxical, Zizster, and Necrofantasia, so it does tend to get more concentrated attention than the others, which I sort of flit between. At least, when I'm not hitting roadblocks or anything.

Alright, place your bets: did the Nazis twig to getting robbed by Relentless Shipbuilding Inc., the Protectorate put two and two together and then extrapolate out to find out her ID, Coil luck into evidence that his Tattletale is (technically) still alive, Dragon (and/or Dragonslayers) dropping into the shipyard, or all of the above?

Me, I'm putting my money on all of the above. Taylor hasn't had an excuse to unleash ALL THE MISSILES in entire chapters, and stress relief is important. :)

Neither.

The IRS found out about her tax shenanigans when she committed a multi-million dollar fraud and embezzlement to acquire the defunct shipyard.

They're sending in... the auditors.

EDIT: IRS, not IRA, Derp

any bets that this is going to escalate into a macros missile massacre due to miscommunication and shard shenanigans?

This makes me so happy to see more of. Of course now I need to go back and read everything yet again!

Anchors Aweigh m'boys !

Thanks. It's midnight thirty, I should be sleeping, and now I have the theme song to the US Navy stuck in my head.

Shouldn't that be, in the words of then Commander Eugene Wilkinson, "Underway on Nuclear Power." Even if her new ship body looks like a diesel boat she is running on something nuclear. I think.
