Hmmm did the Yellow Turbans ever win a major battle? Know they have took some important places but win a battle against one of the Han armies? Curious what them winning a battle would do and its possible butterflies. Probably wouldn't win them the war but probably make certain people worried.

it was mostly cause dejin was an ass, first thing he did was talk down to shu and all of shus friends and allies were like lets deal with him who does he think he is, let the ge clan know their time at the top was over
edit: like the only real action we really toke was the show up dejin it was just every other option we picked revealed the ge plot

having caught up now I can say with certainty that this thread is crazy, there are actually people that want to waifu maiyu... like bruh I get it this thread has been dead for a while and you have forgotten 90% of the story, I who have read through all of it these last 30+ hours have not however. She tried too get us KILLED, multiple times even. She's also unironically a traitor too the state and tried to blame it on us.

I wouldn't blame people if they want to be bloodthirsty to see her head on a spike for her treachery or just sparing her out of mercy when her whole life is already in shambles. Either option's fine.
Though you can ask her directly why there's a good reason to see if she can put her advocate her case from ancient chinese medieval punishment to a lesser sentence when arrayed against the rest of the officials. Zhang Xiu and Jia Xu.

IMO her fate should be out of our hands since she with undeniable proof killed a servant of the state, even if we personally forgive her for everything.
People being bloodthristy I can understand, people wanting to show her mercy I can also understand...
but wanting to waifu someone who has never been honest with you, tried to kill you, knew the truth about our father and only tried to use you. While you have proof of all of this and you as a person don't care because sex is just weird, too go meta with this it's weird when it happens irl and it's even weirder when it happens over something that isn't real and it makes me question a lot of things, like all those stories you hear about people marrying themselves, or a car or a...train station... yeah...
But ignore everything I've written up above because the most important reason is the IC reason. How would you justify this IC, after everything she has personally done to us? We hate them all IC and she has personally betrayed us and used us, and we IC know this is true. Her clan is dead they have 0 prestige it's actually about to be negative. Like tying ourselves to her is worse then picking a random toothless ladybum from the street to wed or make a concubine. So even if we IC loved her with the power of 10.000 suns, our family, our sisters which is our no 1 priority would be worse of if we waifu her

As long as the people can do a convincing IC argument in universe for the MC wanting to waifu her and not have his friend family and fiance go against it, go broke I guess. But I can't see his sisters supporting this when she tried to kill and frame us and ruin our foamily and everyone in the province knows about it.
If you manage too circumvent all that I'll be impressed, and the negative trait we'll get for thinking with our dick while shouting it out to all our enemies that all they need is a pretty face and they can get away with any assassination attempt on us because we'll marry them and let them try again with a smile on our face is deserved.

The fact is all the good times with her happened 'on screen' and the reveal only informed us about what happened 'off screen,' so I think the reveal never really got rid of any of that lingering affection from the good times.
If there's any actual motive to being merciful I'd recommend it towards poaching the Ge Clan's retainers like Taishi Ci. Otherwise if you're feeling the need to be vengeful go ahead to if you feel the remainder are not to be trusted. Just make sure they stay down or there'll be retainers trying to take revenge on you out of a misplaced desire for justice.

Like I'm serious here if you chose to do this in a game where it's spelled out black and white that someone is evil and then you ignoring this isn't even part of the roleplay anymore because doing what you want with your reasoning would be OOC... what are you letting people you know in real life get away with towards you. I'm genuinely worried for some of you guys, because I have yet to see IC reason for doing this, if you present me one I could get behind it because it would be interesting for the quest but their not being one (that I've seen) and players instead throwing vague excuses that you would hear when someone tries to justify RL abuse happening to someone makes this creepy to me. Especially since this quest has been dead for so long before this so this isn't a I'm just reacting without thinking situation either it's been years for most of you.

There is a difference between not seeing the red flags as what you quoted and seeing the red flags and then gett hit with a consequence of the red flags, knowing the person with the red flags is the cause and that they did it deliberately with INTENT to hurt you, yet you chose to ignore that because "hot". That's beyond being stupid, it's a mental illness and it's not something to glorify normalize and be proud of, no that's when you seriously need help and people around you to intervene if you can't acknowledge that for yourself.

Honestly while Meiyuu did screw us. I'm also not like that upset by it? She put her family over the cute boy she maybe liked, which fair. Filial piety is pretty heavily beaten into kids at a young age at this period. To expect her to ignore all of her education for some hot feather action just wasn't realistic.
