Not even a question.

The lower end makes more sense to me, like she and that Corpse Immortal said, if she sang of the lotus it would have verses on the mud it sprang from.

Also Biyu is aiming for the heights! :p

"I'm most surprised that the ending allowed the Duchess to be shown struggling so…. And for things with the prime minister to be…"

So obvious.

"Her Grace personally approved it. It's true that it isn't shown beyond Xiangmen due to… subversive elements, but as I am sure lady Ling has picked up, Xiangmen's culture is a bit strange even for the Emerald Seas.
Subversive because of Shenhua struggling, or because of gay?

Honestly, I want to focus on cultural appeal to mid-high nobility precisely because Ling Qi came from the very bottom of society. They are the ones who need to hear our tale, and we've even made choices before to that tune, something like being a court questioner breaking the traditions or pulling out older ones as necessary.

Also LQ is like sleep is for the weak and why does the time of day matter?

I mean, it's a bit more understandable when for Cultivators at LQ's level, sleep is not actually nessecary. That is, you sleep because you want to, not because you need to. IOW, LQ's view is more likely to be "why would you sleep when you can use that time more productively?"

LQ really going for that "sleep is for the weak" angle when her dream spirit cousin is in the room and the Dreaming Moon is one of her patrons, I see how it is

[X] She did see the appeal in straining the boundaries of possibility, even if it was more exclusive by necessity. (Focuses your part in Cai Renxiangs cultural appeals on the mid and upper nobility.)
