I doubt LQ would willingly take on even a minor Grinning Moon tribulation in the middle of everything that's happening... Conversations with faces of the Moon tend to disappear her for some amount of time, and she can't afford that now.

It does not really matter to me which faction gets the +1 favorability. The White Sky being alerted about the assailant seems to be more important here.

I am generally against the idea of doing any SSC projects during the summit. Hidden Scribe has an adventure Xin has given us, and Grinning Wind sounds better AFTER the summit, IMO, when we've seen the effects/impacts of the summit on tensions and relations. But yeah, I think Depths can work. It depends on what the section explores and whether it'll even be on the list. But if it is and the section includes the sabotage, I'm picking it.
Edit: I'm looking forward to the new projects too. I think we're nearing the end of LFWT?

Hmmm, I hadn't really thought of Grinning Wind as a Tribulation. Certainly not in the same way as the Nightmare Tribulation.
The text seems much more introspective and reflexive. The "What is the treasure you seek for yourself, little thief?" part pairs really well with this last update, for example.
But then I noticed the "???" so... Yeah. That's fair.
We have at least 3 LFTW projects remaining, not exactly what I would call "nearing the end".
SNR only has 2 left, if you don't count the Imperturbable Soul Trait Quest.
Speaking of Soul Traits, what happened to the Soul of Ice project that was in UGM and then as a stand alone?

After much debate(mostly on discord, which I've seen you joined but didn't accept the rules for ?), Yrsillar decided to make it part of FFS. We don't know in which form exactly (project or reward for getting all the projects done, I suspect).

Sad. I really enjoyed this quest when it was about Cultivation. I guess I'll check this again in like a year or so.
White Sky is currently +5. MOI is currently at +1, the chance to hit +2 seems like a perfect opportunity.

I'm a little curious to see what one of their Crows could see, if they got a look at the spider-thingy we caught. Wouldn't that be funny, if there was a Crow ready to pounce the next time our saboteur showed up.
I don't know exactly where you dropped it but she has made some good cultivation progress in the past few turns even if it mostly been political (since this turn is the cumulation of her first major and significant project). In the past few turns she has:
- advanced to the fifth stage of the green realm
- created her first successor art "Final Frost Serenade"
- worked on and improved many of her other arts
- had a major tribulation that was very significant to her cultivation and had effects that are still being revealed
- and just this last update she made major progress on her second successor art
This turn is *the* politics turn so don't expect that to lessen until next turn.
Personally I am excited for fief + House of Ling development coming up.
- choosing a spot for Ling clan compound in the fief
- watching our beginner Ling cultivators develop
- contending with the various spirit beasts residing there
- finding the "high exotic materials", perhaps this is related to the "Access to otherwise unavailable cultivation insights and resources"?
- this is random but I hope we get some fun guests! Maybe some Empire nobles, maybe some White Sky reps will stop by, perhaps old Sect friends will come through
