I think LQ needs to be less passive and look towards becoming more assertive in her actions. I think at least for now I'd prefer to see her make some differently themed choices from what I have seen dominate her themes. I want to see her become a Power unto herself with all of the Responsibility that comes with that rather than leaning on the convictions, and morality of others to guide her like Cai Renxiang. That's my thought anyways.

Betrayal most deep, Ji Rong learns someone she is close to and trusts betrayed her in some way, its something he could investigate further, but the line only leads to Sun Shao.

Her secrets and the clan secrets forged a distance where she could be open before.
He can address this certainly, by personal connection but it would not progress towards root causes because Liling isn't going to react well to prying into clan secrets without a bond in excesss to her clan. Useful though, he can make her feel better immediatelty.

The new set of quirks and tendencies rooted in the Sunflower's influence.
Extremely informative about the root cause, but theres basically nothing he can actually DO about it.

I think Community is a good mix of actionable and informative. He doesn't need to know the metaphysics. He just needs to know someone she trusts betrayed her deeply.

I think this is a valuable perspective, but it's also important to remember that this is also telling Ling Qi something, and the information she has available will influence her approach to the Sun for a long while yet.

This tells her that what happened to Liling was a betrayal--and that gives her insight on a divide within the Sun. If Sun Liling can be pushed onto a less destructive path, if she can reach out to Sun Shao and divert him in turn, then it's possible things might not all end in blood and fire. This is a possible win condition, if a very long-term one.

On a similar note, this gives Ling Qi material to try and reach out to Sun Liling. This is personal to her and it's something she's thought a lot about. On the other hand, though, it's more general and less actionable unless they spend a long time in personal proximity.

This gives Ling Qi insight into the nature of Sun Liling's new power and the weaknesses introduced by it. This has diplomatic uses, sure, but mostly provides a set of blind spots to take advantage of--and that's the sort of advantage that has a very limited lifespan. This would be useful for setting up a sucker punch or (during any period she's even partially an ally) avoiding one.

Community tells Jin Rong that Sun Liling feels betrayed by her Great-Grandfather, and perhaps that Sun Shao has betrayed the Empire in truth. Isolation tells him that Sun Liling needs an ally. Power tells him why she did it, or what she is using to justify it to herself. While Power might have fit his cultivation and motives better back before he acknowledged us, I think his actions recently show that he's now more than just a co-opted gang leader and is taking his role as a lieutenant and advisor seriously. So big picture reads (Community) and personality reads (Isolation) move up in how much I value those bits of intelligence.

And from the threadmarks in Discord and here, Community and Isolation are currently sitting at odd values, which lets us cleanly double a cultivation project to push them to level V if we take one of them now.

Apparently not ideal from a math cabal standpoint, but Ji Rong asked if something was wrong with Sun Liling, and I think this tells us that best.

Ji Rong understands power more than the other two. This should be more actionable for him.

This is the one option that provides an insight that Ji Rong is unlikely to be able to discover for himself. He is very attuned to Power (stereotypical shōnen protagonist after all), and to a lesser degree community (gang boss which are a self selecting community after all) and has a chance of discovering these issues by himself.

Additionally, one of Sun Liling's biggest issues with the Sun goddess' adoption of her is almost certainly going to be the betrayal aspect. We know that Ji Rong is unshakably loyal to her, and allowing her to come to a position where she trusts him, will give her a chance to start the healing process (and also be good for her general mental health).

I overshot the gun earlier, whoops lol. I know I still want LQ to make more Power themed choices overall, but I am also torn as I like Liling. I want to give Ji Ring helpful information for her wellbeing, and hopefully one day see LQ and Liling become friends! I really hope this choice relates to Liling's feelings of weakness which gives an in for LQ to both help her and become friends with her later as they have something in common.

This actions is about learning what's happened to Liling and telling Ji Rong what's happened to her. Power out of the three concepts present is what Ji Rong would understand the best.

Being sacrificed would make it hard to trust on top of the other aspects of it which have to be hidden. Hope JR can use it as a wedge to get his foot back in the door. All of the options seem good, but none feel good enough. This gives at least some context for her behavior in a way I'm not sure isolation on its own would.
