We switch the Dispel 'shield' for the free action/half cost Tech renew of the Zhengui themed UHE, which was tied with WHR during half the Resist Archive vote because it was awesome but an actual Home Art was awesomer. Our Arts would be more fragile yet would only ever break momentarily, and if we want the Art to be buffed enough to compete with a straight new Combination Tech we just add a heal and/or +Resist at successful Dispels, or just downright keep the shield because it fits with SNR. Then we simply add/switch Health/Health Regen into the hearth and home aura which would suit our ideas about home as a place to grow in.

WHR has the Boundaries Keyword which is not unwanted but not something Ling Qi specifically cultivates much if we already have Hearth and Security, so we could replace it with Wood. Composure isn't as necessary without the shield so we replace that with Renewal. All in all we create a less sedentary idea of home, which didn't explicitly fit Ling Qi that much anyway, and replaces it with a more migratory, adaptable and Growth/Renewal themed home. That is if we can't just straight out add Keywords since this is supposed to be a buff. Even while adding only Zhengui themed bonuses it'd possibly be a more Ling Qi like Art than the base one.

If you're putting wood in it, could also ditch Hearth instead of Boundaries, and have a more abstract notion of shelter among the landscape. Though that does run into "Where does Renewal fit in, exactly?" issues. But that's something that exists with Hearth anyway. I'd say there's pretty deep issues in altering either Boundaries or Hearth and maintaining art coherence, given their prominent role in the art's philosophical construction.

Which isn't me shooting down the idea, more the opposite. It's acknowledging that changing WHR to more fit Zhengui's themes requires fundamentally major surgery on the art's core themes, which after all don't have much of any overlap with Zhengui.

Edit: "Stave off Winter's chill by burning down a forest" is a cool theme though. I now support this.

I could see Boundaries over Hearth, because I do like Boundaries. But the Hearth is the core of the home, the source of warmth that is the true difference between the Fire inside from the Cold outside. Without the distinction Boundaries are meaningless. The Art needs an answer to "what makes a home?" if it want to work. I like both Boundaries and Security but they sort of do the same thing, Boundaries are about creating home as separate from outside and Security is about keeping home safe from outside. And we just spent lavishly on a safety room for our home so I feel like Security take the priority for Ling Qi's home Art, as the reason we have Boundaries at all.

Too me Renewal in the scope of home is about Ling Qi's resolve and adaptability, and Wood her desire to grow even in the Cold. Thus Renewal obviously fit into the Resist portion and Wood the buffs, without really threatening the Arts theme of the Hearth in Winter because the Fire is stubbornly refusing to go out and even in the midst of Winter can people grow. We don't even really need to change the Keywords to implement these elements. Maybe we could switch Composure with Renewal and keep Boundaries that can be pushed back but always return, the shield + renew and the Health Regen, heal or additive Resist buffs etc. all in a single Keyword.

If there is one thing I am sad about Suyin's promotion, it's that since we picked Cai instead of Xin, we don't get to be sect sisters with Suyin too much longer.
