... is what I want to say, but geez thinking of Gan Guangli in any capacity other than that of an older, cooler, less talented sibling is giving me the heebie-jeebies.

He's only one stage behind the rest of us, all he really needs to do to catch up is make it to the inner sect to get more resources. We'll still have a head start of course, but he's actually doing really well.

We should have a higher talent than him, so that he has kept up to this degree would imply that he is already at max resource utilization.
