[X] Join the group assaulting the caldera

Deploying the most powerful troops to the initial assault makes more sense to me, since that is the time that application of force will be most effective. Ling Qi's stealth also helps with scouting for the assault, and allow us to investigate why the cloud barbarians are here in the first place (hidden moon ahoy!). Our domain also has space warping shenanigans, and when the barbarians are clumped up is when it will be most effective, and it will also combo very effectively with CRX's AoE attacks making it difficult for the cloud barbarians (hopefully we will get to discover what name they call themselves during this arc) to scatter which they should normally be very effective at.

I'm recalling Sun Liling's thoughts on our role as a control cultivator, and how a commander would use us as an anchor in a line of battle. I think joining in the assault will allow us to maximize our impact, particularly with regards to deploying Zhengui.

You´re right with Zhengui LQ+CRX could act as a mobile hardpoint, which can stabilize flagging parts of the front or break through a front for encirclement through sheer attrition of qi.

i'm just starting to read the bonus content on RR and the first chap is on Minister Xiao, the dude in charge of the city at the feet of the Sect's mountain(s):
Minister Xiao only hoped that those children would remain in the Sect and leave the troubles of the Imperial court back at their homes. He was quite pleased to have been given the opportunity to leave that viper's nest behind, despite the greater physical danger he faced here on the frontier. He'd take the simpler and more easily understood threats of the frontier over the deceptively polite plotting back home, thank you very much.
I wonder what he's thinking after all the politik crap going on around the ducals spawns last year and now the very physical danger of both the Barbarians and the underground troglodytes...

How exciting! Ling qi never seen a volcano before! Let's take a selfie while we are there!

We can take selfies right? Should be a simple talisman.
Fool, Ling Qi never takes Selfies!
It's always a group picture when she's around
