Pretty sure his poor bones are still scattered over the arena after Sun's flying sword of death ripped him apart. RIP most complicated formations work we have done. You could have paved the way for a bone giant but you died too young.

So we were talking about flute spirits on discord - by which I mean I was trying to stir up trouble - and one thing lead to another and, well...

We also talked about cloud xuan wu... like a day ago. They'd be cool cause their main body would be up standing in clouds, but sometimes a giant snake head would slither out and down to bite something tasty on or near the ground. It's hilarious!

I mean, that'd be at Violet+ levels anyway. Lower realms would probably need to actually move closer to the ground, or even climb up hills and glide off them as ambush predators or something. Very cute stealthy floating tortoises.

My point is flutes < reptiles.

Our flute is already an antique.

It's unclear whether getting smashed in Thunderdome Redux means that our current flute is a new object developing its own spirit, or whether the fact that it was described to "contain the memory of Ling Qi's old flute" means that the progress it had accrued towards an object spirit got kept, in whole or in part.

Well we did scavenge a stomped flute, an exploded pile of bones are totes salvageable, totes of totalitiness

No, she has not looked into using Zhengui as a mobile fertilizer dispenser.
She never had the reason to, and has been more interested in his combat potential.
I don't think it ever really occurred to her that she might make money of her son little brother.

I find it hard to believe that information on growth and energy output, as well as other miscellaneous information, wouldn't be valuable in helping Zhengui develop his own techniques and grow as a combatant.

Only if the object spirits of flutes are really into transflautism and consider continuity of spirit/qi important and continuity of material form irrelevant. Otherwise being remade like that would just reset the timer.
