Look before I go to bed I'd like to say this: my point was never that we would have to force a coup, or that we should not listen to the High Council's advice, but pretending that advice is mandatory when it lacks the power to enforce it is silly and the other governors will know it.

Ok so the second Primarch fail to corruption from what is assumed some Necron tech. Now the second legion was said to be noble but their fault was that thier Primarch became corrupt not them. Since what happens to a Primarch has shown to have a effect on space marines we may have some blanks space marines out there.

I'll probably join you in that realm shortly, so my passing statement would be that even if most councillors know that, they also know us since we've literally been working together for centuries.

Plenty of time to get an accurate feel for the personality.

Well he certainly passed the Ymndga Monolith.

Your allies being 'other Avernites' in this cultural context. Siege mentalities breed narrow loyalties, like the fact that most of the population would probably follow Rotbart even if he fell to Chaos.

Yeah, but we have still gone to help the trust in every combat situation we physically could with respect for other powers due to their effectiveness bleeding over.

That and short-term agendas like less conservative resistants though blunt means would just aggravate radical ideas and push anyone that survived firmly against us. It is bad for long-term co-operativeness.

Edit:
You know what I have a headache, it's late, I have had a long day.
I do not care anymore.
Good to talk with you anyway even if we did not agree

Yes the Trust has actually been instrumental in Avernites being able to expand as we have. They send troops when we needed them, help deal with the cultists issues, are subsidizing our economy, and given us a chance to shine on larger stages. Without the Trust we would probably be a very minor planet in debt and most of our people dead or dying. The people know that is the case as well which is why they are so patriotic about the Trust.

Before Aria you would have said no
And I betting they're the omega level blank, low level cause people to be uncomfortable or even kill their children. What would a Omega do to not only people but reality itself??

I always wondered that because there was a quest that was wh40k dark souls space marines, who had abyss walkers or blanks.

yes it is.
BTW we may want to contact the Eldar for Areatha, she has to return the Souls of Kher-Ys and a Wailing Doom Shard.

@Durin
1. Out of curiosity what kinda damage would a nat 100 on that done assuming it was aimed at something important like the Exalted?
1. a nat 100 would have either killed or permakilled an Exalted

So I have an idea- let's True Kill Turoq as our opening move.
This will solve both the short-term problem of the invasion and long-term problem of a rational chaos polity.

There are two requirements for this idea:
-Spending a minor Eldar favor.
-Getting Turoq's True Name.

There is one problem with this idea:
-They will attack in 5 years time. Ridcully will be recovering for that time and probably longer.
And I have a possible solution to that- Lin could possibly heal him.
Not cure him, but fasten his return to functionality.
While Lin's time is valuable, so is Ridcully's. And this is one critical time period.

I am insisting on not waiting for Turoq's attacks to come because:
-They are chaos, which means they warp-travel very quickly, and in a single year they'll be able to do damage we could do in five.
-They want our tech, and every loss we take is an advantage they'll get.

@Durin
1. Is saint Lin capable of speeding up Ridcully's recovery process as an action?
1. no, the speed he will get is with the best possible care. the thing is recovering from nearing dying from Nurgles personal plagues is not quick
I am not a fan of the Isha worship idea. Our boy, Big E needs all the juice he can get so that he can reincarnate.

Plus it isn't worth the instability it would bring.

@Durin
1.Can we ask the Eldar to redirect the Waagh on to Turoq and his allies ?
2.How much would it cost?

That would take care of our immediate problems.
1. you could
2. minor favour
Ok this is Rotbart according to the stat sheet.

And this is Jane.
The thing that annoys me hear is the fact that she has over double the martial bonus while having half the stat.
I know this is likely a bonus from before
A revamp but I want to check.

@Durin
Could you update these
Or explain how this happened?
typo, it was 50, changed to 55 and I accidentally inserted rather then overwrite
@Durin
1. Can we sell Ridcully's future divination for minor favors like we did with the conference (basicly we get 3 minor favors now and we promise to perform 9-12 divinations within 50 years)?
2a. Did Emperor tell anything about missing primarchs/legions to Lin?
2b. Or warned to not look into them?
1. no
2. he did not one way or the other. though without Ridcully becoming the ridiculous being that he is there is no way that you would have been able to find out anything about them
@Durin
So since he has walked further down the path.
1. Did the starting point on the path count as 0?
1a. If so it's 10 steps in total?
2. Will he be more powerful the more steps he takes?
2a. I mean when he ascended will the number of steps taken on the path affect how powerful he becomes?
3. If we send him with Lin to help heal some of his soul could it help get a grandmaster biomancy?
3a. Same question but for our other biomancy psykers?
4. Do we know what happened to the Custodes or is that a greater divination.
5. Will the surviving forces we sent to fight for the Eldar gain some sort of trait or unique name and legacy?
5a. Same but with the Space Marines sent.
6. How are the 15 space marines from the original 30 that weren't the ancients doing?
6a. If they still live are the respected only slightly less than the 15 ancients.
1. no it counted as 1
2. not more powerful but more skilled
3. no, and soul healing is not biomancy, it is deamonology of a level that even Aria is not anywhere near. one example I have used is its surgery and you can only use a chainsaw
4. greater divination
5. possible for both

@Durin
How do we acquire Fabricator Lethe's character sheet? I assume she's a Stewardship/Diplomacy build, but i want to see the heights that characters like her can reach.
greater divination
@Durin

1. Can necrons hack mechanical things that have biological components to them?
2. If so, what's stopping them from hacking tech priests, Titans, and other Mechanicus forces?
1. yes but it is harder
2. the more will it has and the more organic it is the harder it is, so they can hack a Titan but the same Cryptek could have an legion of cybernetica instead

Well the Eldar don't, but we do...and if we don't keep em in the loop there'll probably be issues.

Still

@Durin
1. Does Klovis know what Council's reaction to Ridcully's success has been?
2. His blessing?
3. Do we think they'd be in favour of the Eldar dealing with Turoq in some regard?
1. a bit of disbelief
2. mixed but not bad
3. yes
@Durin, what are the odds of bad things happening if Ridcully divines Chaos as a whole to help Lin with The Nature of (Chaos)?
low but there chance of bad end
@Durin
1. Would the Eldar be willing to give us access to the Black Library? If so, how much would it cost us?
2. If we were to ask the Eldar for all of the library's relevant information regarding the gods of chaos, how much would it cost? How much would an individual god cost?
3. How much would it cost to gain access to their information regarding high level psychic abilities?
4. Can we divine the birth of the Emperor? Does Ridcully see it as something that is safe or possible?
5. Can we divine Terra the moments before the Emperor's Death?
1. no
2. they might give you some for a major favour
3. minor favour but most of the abilities would not easily work for you
4. you could try, it would be safe but hard
5. you could try, challenging and a bit risky though

That makes me wonder...
@Durin
If Rotbart were to fall to chaos, assuming he isn't offed by someone, how many Avernites would follow him?
between a quarter and a third of the population, more if he can get some fo the other heroes of Avernus

Ok so the second Primarch fail to corruption from what is assumed some Necron tech. Now the second legion was said to be noble but their fault was that thier Primarch became corrupt not them. Since what happens to a Primarch has shown to have a effect on space marines we may have some blanks space marines out there.
Where is this information coming from? I can't seem to find it anywhere I look. I probably am just missing it but if you have a link I would appreciate it.
1. no it counted as 1
@Durin
1.Wouldn't that mean that Ridcully should be at step three then?
1a. Since if starting is 1 and doing the Deceiver was a step and then Nurgle's Throne was another step?
3. Also these two questions didn't get an answer.
3a. How are the 15 space marines from the original 30 that weren't the ancients doing?
3b. If they still live are they respected only slightly less than the 15 ancients.
3c. I'm asking about the guys from when we first got the Space Marines it was 30 in total 15 were originals from the very beginning and the rest were surviving recruits that had been with them for a little while.

2. he did not one way or the other. though without Ridcully becoming the ridiculous being that he is there is no way that you would have been able to find out anything about them
??? I thought the existence of the Lost and Forgotten was known as part of record since there's nothing explaining why you suddenly jump from 1-3 and 10-12 in the Imperial records. Its just anyone investigating tends to be visited by the inquisition.

1. a bit of disbelief
2. mixed but not bad
3. yes
Eggsailent.

@Durin
1. Embers in the Dusk: A Planetary Governor Quest (43k) | Page 4349 just sending your way.
2. As an estimate how big of a boost did the minor gods get via their theft?
3. What level of favour for assisting the recovery of the Grey Knights (either through genetics or if Corvus has that covered recovery of techniques, texts and other things). Eventual hope is that we can hand the knights over to the Eldar to assist them.
4. Assuming we check and it won't end badly for us, what level of favour to recover the process to create custodes?

Looking at the sheet myself, didn't we acquire the Black Crystal Armor at some point because I don't see it on the sheet?
Breast plate makes things tougher, presumably passively adds a bunch to our armour value.

Where is this information coming from? I can't seem to find it anywhere I look. I probably am just missing it but if you have a link I would appreciate it.
Its from the book Clonelord where Bile passes through the region of space with the Ymiga monolith and remarks on the second passing through the area.

The monolith in other works is revealed as a necron device that can somehow duplicate ships and other things.

@Adventwolf besides what wombat has mention there is a Horus Heresy where the primarchs talk about the second legion where it also mentions the monolith and that it was the failure of thier Primarch and not the legion. So in my head cannon I think a c'tan Got hold of a Primarch.

1. healers who are dedicated to isha get a slight boost
@Durin

1. What would be the effects of a civilisation setting up a full organised religion dedicated to Isha, with temples, holy days, clergy, sacrifices, etc.?
2. What level of favour would it cost to get the eldar to improve the defences of the North and South Poles of Avernus to defend against future daemonic incursion?

@Durin

1. Is it possible to understand the nature of conceptual concept other than chaos using ridacully and lin? For example order or balance? Is such attempt dangerous?

2. Is it possible to divine lost primaries now that our oracle's power boosted even further?

3. Is it possible for Lin to comprehend the nature of Helhiem or perpetual power?

4. Can ridacully use greater divination to see the nature of Emperor's rebirth like Eldar seers able to see/predict/engineer ynnead birth before it actually happened?

5. If he sees the Emperor's birth and his death will it help him to divine his rebirth more clearly?

6. If we ask Eldar seers help to do aka joint divination so will it increase chance of success?( Like in case Isha) How much it will cost us?

@Durin:
1) Can we network the Eldar with the Siren and other Peoples to proselytise the Eldar Pantheon?
2) How would the High Council take Avernite Peoples worshipping Isha?

1. Can we sell Ridcully's future divination for minor favors like we did with the conference (basicly we get 3 minor favors now and we promise to perform 9-12 divinations within 50 years)?
@Durin
1. Why not? Do we need to perform divinations before receiving the favors or is there some other issues?
2. Could we get 1 minor favor now this way?
3. Unrelated thing I keep forgetting to ask - I remember you said that Jane wears relic warded armor, what kind of armor is it? Ignatius?
