He said he was planning on it after this turn was done.
Thanks just curious.

Really hate how handling the cults are taking up actions we could be spending to improve ourselves like getting the Heavy Tanks, Specialists, Combat Engineers, expanding the Psyker town, looking over the BCJ, and other stuff.

Meet our overpowered table top characters! So OP not even a munchkin could love! And priced like it too.
Codex Avernus: Characters

I haven't bothered to fully flesh out the Generals, and Warlord traits are giving me trouble. A non trivial part of it is me pulling stuff out of my ass.

We already know how to do this. FULL PANOPTICON.
That has been noted to increase our problems with Starfather cultists over long time periods, and thus it is probably not worthwhile.

Anyways, what are somethings we could use cheating on besides the Well of Urd?
Probably the ship debris on the ring, and maybe on the moon ruins.

In any event, miscommunications notwithstanding, if ever we do get some understanding of the genes related to psyker risk, devoting a level of extra scritiny towards those with the genes over and above the normal methods would probably pay at least modest dividends, if we had the manpower.

We will eventually get enough witch-sniffers to make annual psyker checkups a thing, given that so many of the minor psykers remain uncaught. If by the point we are ~halfway there we had got an idea of which genes are present in psykers*, then we could probably get around a 20% boost to the amount of psykers found by the checkups.

Alternatively, if ever we managed to crack the code of psyker genetics (somehow), then we could definitely direct our psyker-hunters far more efficiently.

Either way, though, it is a long way off, and would require a fair bit of luck.

*I believe that it was said that we know, or could readily discover at least this much, but that ~half the population has some of the large amount of genes associated with psychic potential. I could be misremembering, but it probably wouldn't be that hard to come up with a list of genes found more commonly in psykers than in non-psykers.

Anothe theme, something for the next free Adeptus Administratum action.

Juve-Nat: Medical- One of the options to use the large amounts of Juve-Nat produced by your new factories is to extend the lives of your most skilled doctors. This will greatly increase the effect of your medical system as the number of skilled Doctors increases.

Time: 3 years. (can only choose One Juve-Nat option)

Cost: 345,600,000 Thrones, 172,800,000 Material, 206,400 Advanced Material.
Upkeep per year: 17,280,000 Thrones, 864,000 Material, 10,320 Advanced Material. (increases with time)
Reward: 2.5 million Doctors given Juve-nat treatments, number of Doctors with Juve-Nat slowly increases, +0.05% population growth increasing by 0.05% per year until it reaches 0.5%.

Juve-Nat: Educational- The second option that Henry suggests for using the Juve-Nat is to extend the life-spans of your best professors and teachers. This would over time provide a major boost to your educational system as the most skilled educators live for longer.

Reward: 2.5 million Professors given Juve-nat treatments, number of Professors with Juve-Nat slowly increases, +1.5% base education increasing by 1.5% per year until it reaches 15%.

Juve-Nat: Administrative- The third option that Henry suggests using Juve-Nat for is to extend the life-spans of his most efficient bureaucrats. This would have a carry on effect on increasing the total efficiency of the government of Avernus which Henry considers to be highly worthwhile but would require a larger amount of Juve-Nat.

With the surplus of Juve-Nat we now can choose which aspect of the civilian side we want to strengthen. Some thoughts by me:
  1. Support doctors will further increase population growth.
    • At the current speed of roughly 4% it double every 20 years (212%)
    • At the expected speed of roughly 5.5% (new clinics and doctors) it will triple every 20 years (291%)
    • I see no significant gain here
  2. Support education.
    • The math for that I do not fully understand. All I know is that it will increase production and ressources (with other factors).
    • Good reason to take.
  3. Support bureaucrats (!) will lower maintainance and construction cost.
    • At the cost of our projects will create lots of savings.
    • Most ressources we have in abnuance and would barely noticing the save.
    • Numerical the greates effect.
What are your thoughts?
At the moment I am split between education and bureaucrats but with the upcomming proposal at the high concil I am leaning towards education.

Is there somewhere that spells out the benefits of admin and education? Right now exotic materials are the bottleneck in production for us. So whatever would boost that would be best.

Also do any of them help with the time projects take to complete

Education provides a bonus to resource production, while admin reduces costs of projects and upkeep. I haven't done the math, but we have so many more education bonuses than admin ones that I think admin is more worthwhile.

Unless exotic production is effected, I think that the population is actually the most beneficial.

More people means more military regiments and more cities.

Hmm... actually that is probably one of the things we should suggest to the Forge Master. A way for non-Mechnicus to produce exotic material.

I would just like to point out that, even if we aren't interested right now, increased pop growth means we will be able to expand much faster. So, if any one wants to expand our holdings, Doctors would be a good buy.

Of course, since we have barely even begun researching the territories we are in NOW, I'm not sure there's a point to that yet. But once we do all the regional surveys, I think that grabbing a new region shouldn't be out of the question.

We should really push the Mechanicus to embrace innovation and questioning, and to place strict parameters on what "tech-heresy" is so that neo-scientists don't get forced to renegade-hood. The precedents of the Ancients who achieved the pinnacle of technological prowess through critical thinking should help ease the process.

But not too fast. New technology and even the mindset that allows its development opens up vulnerabilities to Chaos.
