The Long Founding (Warhammer 40k)

a yes, ooarth, craddle home of the geeumans.
[x] PD-969: A forest world inhabited by monstrous ladybugs capable of fighting Leman Russ battle tanks and emerging the victor. Even the base species is a major threat, but the various subspecies include one that is constantly on fire - without harming itself, somehow - and one with a reversed color-scheme that seems capable of reviving from the dead if it's body is not utterly destroyed. You have another migraine.

awesome, can't wait to see what culture evolves from this.

[] Plan: Only You Can Be Forest Fires!
-[] The Salamanders: Sons of Vulkan, the Salamanders are somewhat mutation prone, yet most deviations within their gene-seed are wholly positive - taking the form of increased temperature resistance, radiological resistance, and enhanced healing capability as well as their signature cosmetic mutation. This does, however, mean that any further mutations will likely be even more noticeable, and possibly have far worse consequences than this. Tactically, they are known for their love of thermal weaponry, and have a good reputation among the Imperium for their kindness and commitment to defending the Imperium's citizenry even when it leaves them at a tactical disadvantage.
--[] 1 Charge of Potent Gene-Seed
--[] 1 Charge of Legendary Gene-Seed
-[] Muzuzu: A planet that seems to be composed entirely of forests that are continuously on fire, the trees being able to burn for centuries before actually dying - while young trees that haven't yet reproduced are so flame resistant that there is no fear of ignition up until they are fully grown. This has led to an… interesting view during the nighttime.

Considering this, and what others have posted previously, supporting this planet seems like a good way to steer the Ecclessiarchy on the whole towards being somewhat less corrupt and more virtuous.
One way, putting Luna Wolves will be ironic and they get arch-traitor face, they get exterminated unless they hide their faces 24/7 while possibly putting Word Bearers there in future chapter because them spreading that will be more possible AND it is ironic.

And I just noticed that Long and Chaosd founding both have canine-related chapters/warbands.

I will say that with the way undead frog has been writing these chapters and his stated intention to not veer to far off from canon I doubt putting this chapter on kjuru will stop Sebastian Thor from appearing.

Not really... Currently ecclessiarchy is very much "space marine should be involved in goverment look at horus heresy" confederation of light chapter without word bearers would be weaken not strenghten by our involvement as they aren't lacking military power but political clout which they will gain after Sebastian Thor overthrows Vandirer

No but it could in the long run strengthen the Confederations power In the Ecclesiarchy which would help better the lives of imperial citizens. Everyone here keeps forgetting that we ARE changing things its just that the OVER ALL plot will stay the same UP TO CURRENT CANON. Meaning we are changing things on a smaller and more long term scale.

Judging by the summary you posted, sometime around this period, these guys are hunted down by the mainstream Ecclessiarchy and almost exterminated, fading in relevance until Vandire.

Giving them a Space Marine Chapter would probably go a long way from stopping the mainstream Ecclessiarchy from trying to wipe them out, thus giving the movement time to grow.

[ ] Vladaadad: A planet continuously under attack from Chaos-affiliated pirates and Xenos. The people of Vladaadad have developed an especially cruel disposition towards the worshipers of Chaos, one that the local Forge World seems to share…. Well, you think so, given the frankly disturbing number of weapons they give the local PDF that involve impaling the enemy with a barrage of rapidly launched spikes. (Sanguine).

I think this would be a good world for a chimerical chapter The Blood Angels and the Night Lords

[ ] Kjuru: A rocky world that frequently wars with the nearby Orks. Interestingly enough, the planet is also home to a religious movement known as 'The Confederation of Light' - something the burgeoning Ecclesiarchy seems to have issues with. Too bad for them, you don't care.

Should we place another world bearers chapter here? it seems like a good idea if they manage to do like the Imperial truth

It's also technically a time sensitive planet as well. And with the Oorth situation it could actually be a really good time to prop these guys up.

Not sure we wanna mix two traitor gene-seeds, especially given that this is a fairly simple guard chapter.

[X] Plan: Wolves Of Light v2

I just think it would be hilarious to have the Wolves be on the anti-religious heresy side. Less religious heresy side? Something like that.

[X] Plan: Ashen Wolves
-[X] Luna Wolves: Prideful and powerful in equal measure, the gene-seed of the Luna Wolves, who once bore the name of the Sons of Horus, has always been of excellent stock, with the biggest problem being mostly political in the form of their tendency to... well. To be blunt, a significant number of them are the spitting image of the Arch-Heretic. Sadly, in this day and age that political problem is an immense one - and very difficult to actually deal with.

Also, because I want a different planet but I'm shit at inventing names and making plans:

[X] Noas: A fairly standard oceanic death world, with whale like monsters called 'Blips' capable of swallowing a titan whole and shrugging off direct hits from orbital bombardment.

Man shame about Ooarth it does make me worry about Ramz though and the eccliasry purging the world:

Which can also be said about Loyalist seed.
Yes, which is why I dislike certain practices that loyalist chapters sometimes engage in, and why we have to be careful about certain things like keeping the iron hand derivatives from going full 'borg, and juggling the needs of the Blood Angel descendants. The problem with mixing traitor geneseed is that chaos tends to have a compounding effect, so traitor geneseed can be done, with some precautions taken. Traitor + loyal cross, and loyal + loyal is also fine... As long as we're careful about other possible negative feed back loops. Traitor + traitor on the other hand, gets me paranoid because of possible Chaotic synergy, especially with Horus, or worse yet Fulgrim.
