A neat side benefit of the Chapter's holy golden drake look is that only but the most outrageous detractors would accuse them as anything other than a Salamander Successor Chapter. Hiding a history of horrific TS mutation with another layer of Salamander-flavoured mutation, hah.

Is it just me, or are these two basically identical? The only differences I can see are how the chapter symbol is described and that one of them specifies royal blue instead of just blue for the secondary color.

Anyway, I like these guys having a legendary trait (and I like the creed describing people as the Emperor's treasure more than one describing them as His hoard), so voting for these:
[X] Plan: Dragonborn Paladins
[x] Plan: SWORD, STEEL, SORCERY!
[X] Plan: SWORD, STEEL, SORCERY! (Dreadnought Version)

Nope. They are pretty much the same. I just took the Plan: SWORD, STEEL, SORCERY! and changed it before ShieldCrown made their Dreadnought version. The aesthetic difference where my preferences.

You are correct, it was stupid argument on my part to describe doubling down on skills as "redundant" especially, when I myself argued for giving the Chapter of already poweful Psykers even more and better trained Librarians.

Still, I don't agree that Entrenchment synergizes better with Techmarines than Artillery. Techmarines are still responsible also for Chapter weaponry, and the Librarians may come up with some way to enchant their Artillery with Psykery. It absolutely would influence the Artillery and give us at least better cared for heavy firearms.

The argument with Necrons was more "there are things that a Psyker will have hard time killing that lots of guns wouldn't" rather than giving them as a specific enemy the Chapter would have to worry about and will be fighting.
