It can be either a new creature or an existing one worth 300 points or less that would become the Greater Companion.
In the second case, we would also gain a random 300-point creature to compensate.

I'd be fine with either I wanted Greater Companion for the longest time mostly for either Olky or Aylamon. And for True Customization I'm kind of interested in grabbing a Custom Parasite.

One of the Custom Construct options (mirror) can reflect all energy attacks, it could bounce Scion's golden Stilling beams back at him.

Ah good, I was thinking Olky since we basically keep him permanently summoned anyway and that frees up a slot, or Aylamon because she is basically our little sister and she can become some heavy firepower quickly in a pinch

I asked Zagan about that before. Okly prefers never needing sleep because Alex just resummons him so he can dedicate himself to Alex 24/7.

If we do get a Greater Companion, I definitely think we should get a new one, and not one we already have and have it be replaced by a random creature. There are a lot of really good 300pt ones. Lots of Pokemon, who could then get stronger. We could get a genuine Dumbledore-type Harry Potter world Phoenix. We could get a Citrakayahs or another Ben10 alien who, since they would be permanent, could pretty much be a superhero on their own. We could get the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland! A Divine Construct! We could even have our very own Luck Dragon!!! (Or several dragons from the Dragon category...). If we wanted something Custom... we could afford a Custom Transformer!! (only, it's characteristics would be random...but it would be permanent!)

Edit: Since I first wrote this, I just happened to go over to the Disney Plus and watched "The Marvels", which, to be fair, wasn't actually all that great of a movie in my personal opinion. However, it did help me decide exactly which 300pt creature I would like as our very first Greater Companion, mainly, the Flerken. It will be especially hilarious when we get the power "Controlled Reproduction". Fill Earth Bet with cute little tentacled Eldritch Cat Horrors with pocket dimensions inside them! Who could possibly object???

For Pokemon I was debating getting a Porygon since it also doubles as an AI and with it being a companion it wouldn't have to worry about going out of our range. In Ben 10 there are alot of Aliens I want to get like a Necrofriggian or a Kinceleran being examples just about any of the 300 point aliens on there would be solid Capes.
Edit: Now I'm imagining a Kinceleran with our Rabbit Talisman and wondering what speeds it'll reach.

    • So Greater Companion. I'm curious to know what you will choose.

    A reminder of the rules:
    -Greater Companion: You gain one creature of your choice costing 300 points or less. This creature is permanently summoned to your side, it does not count against your summoning limit. This creature is real in every sense of the word, it needs to eat, sleep and care. It can die but you can resummon it after 24 hours.
    You can gain this benefit any number of times.
    In addition, you can choose a creature worth 300 points or less that you already possess as a Greater Companion. In that case you'll gain a random 300 point creature as a normal creature.

    Obviously, you can only choose a normal creature as a Companion, not a Modifier (Half-Fey), not a Category Power (Animagus), not an Invocation (Carbuncle), and so on.

    Yes, we do have a Flerken. It was a reward for one of he Vigilante omake.

    • Damn I'm blanking on who to vote that would be a useful companion I'm willing to liste to suggestions. Maybe a growth type companion that can evolve? Or support type works too

    There are probably plenty of other choices that are more useful. But I can't think of anyone else who we've devoted nearly as much characterization time to. Even Olky doesn't really match her.

    ...Of course, this is assuming that her Digivolution to Kiwimon hasn't made her cost too much.
