Finally I opt for no tail.

Inspired by that image.

But it's only an inspiration because we do NOT have the true Godzilla we have Zilla.
And there's enough difference, notably in body shape to influence the armor look.
So Godzilla light armor?
Still a train, but with a cockpit for the pilot in the "head"
Does it have a speaker system from which to play Jaws theme?
An invisible armor that only lasts for 100s at a time. Might be nice in a pinch but it would be a pain to use so I don't think Alex would use it.
Those things have weapons as part of their bodies right? Would the Armour come with a built in weapon?

Hey @zagan how would Armor Summoning compare to Hunters Equipment from the Monster Hunter Category, would the creatures just turn into their armor sets or will their be some differences in how they function? Hunters gives their weapons and skill to use them of course, but is there any real benefit to using Hunters Equipment and Armor Summoning together if you had them?

Another excellent question.
Yes, there's lots of difference.
Armor Summoning, summon the creature transformed into armor. This means that's subject to all the limitations of a summoned creature (mainly number limit and only once per day) but also all the benefits. Strength of Many obviously but you could apply invisible summoning to it, lot of combos there I think. It can be healed, it can be buffed. Its powers are available for the use of the wearer (within the limitation mentioned in a previous post.)

Hunter Equipment is a separate power, it summons a set of armor and a weapon from the game. This can be done at will, it's not subject to the creature limit. It does not possess the creature's power but it grants bonus like in the game.

Having both is a little redundant but it's not useless either.

It'd be a lot more useful to use Vehicle summon and Hunter Equipment at the same time I think.

...Oh god, could we use The Big to have Zilla wield or wear one of our summons' weapon forms? Zilla wearing Healer in Big Armor form... XP

You may have noticed that I've been getting chapters out slightly slower in the last few weeks. I can promise you that I'm still highly motivated. It's just that while I'm impatient to reach the climax of this arc and beyond (a lot of ideas for afterward) I'm having trouble getting to that point. Mostly because my muse is always whispering ideas for things to do after while what I need is ideas for right now. But we'll get there I swear.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Again I couldn't act without information, it was better to scout first.

"Clank same deal as with the school, send in Drone to get the lay of the land. Start from the top. This time I'll be joining you with Spider Bot, starting from the bottom."

"Roger that."

While my little robot got to work I summoned my very first partner. I briefly envisioned using Swarm but I had no way to keep track of one hundred video feeds, and upon checking with the Menagerie it turned out that Size Reduction would only apply to one member of the swarm.

The robotic spider appeared before me and I didn't lose any time boosting it with a few supporting powers. The Insect theme, Size Reduction, and Speed Boost. Unless people look at it closely they'll only see an unusually large spider.

Remaining on Rainbow I directed the spider bot toward the entrance of the hospital and had it climb through a mailbox flap. I kept two Minds focused on my peripheral vision to remain alert.

When I saw the lobby of the hospital, some unpleasant memories resurfaced. The last time I was there was three years ago. I was frantically asking the nurse at the desk for news concerning dad. With a few words the exhausted and indifferent nurse shattered my world, he was dead.

Ignoring the moistening of my eyes, I angrily shake my head. Now was not the time, I had a job to do. I would honor his memories by doing my very best.

It didn't take long for the bot to find its first gang members, a trio of men armed with assault rifles standing in front of the reception. Through the screen, I couldn't see anyone else.

I direct my drone to advance discreetly, moving quickly between hiding spots such as chairs or tables. It took more time than I like to maneuver the bot without risking it being seen but once I passed the guards it was much easier. The corridors were empty, looking at the various signs I saw that the first floor contained mostly examination rooms for various specialists and emergencies at the back.

It was at this point that I realized that scouting a whole hospital building was a much more daunting task than a school. It contains many smaller rooms. Even with Clank taking half of it that would take a while. Still going in half-cocked was too risky, civilians could get hurt particularly in a hospital.

Barely a minute after I started Velocity appeared right next to Rainbow.

"Compendium, I'm glad to see you."

I jumped down, pocketing Spider bot's remote at the same time.

I gave him a nod. "Velocity, you're looking much better than last time."

"Thanks to you. We'll talk about that later. We got work to do."

"Yes." I turn around to face the hospital.

"You were here first. What did you find out?"

"Not much, I started by evacuating all the curious civilians from the area, so we don't have to worry about that. I checked all the possible entrances, all closed. Except for a few windows high up. I could have forced entry but I'm not well suited for direct combat."

I could hear a tremor in his voice, but I chose to not comment. Briefly, I contemplated having him meet Hug, he was currently in weapon form in Clan pocket space, but I didn't think it was the right moment for that.

Instead, I ask another question. "Seen any Cape?

"No, but they could be inside. I saw you with your remote and your robot too. Scouting?"

"Yes, I found three guards at the entrance and not much else before you got there." I dressed my little robot.

"Do you have anything Clank?"

"I have acquired some data. One guard on the roof. Patrol in the corridors. Patient in their room, door closed. Nurses allowed to respond to alert."

That wasn't too bad, a good sign even. They weren't mistreating the patient at least.

Velocity asked an excellent question.

"Can the guard communicate with each other?"

"Affirmative. Regular check up with talkie walkie."

We both frowned hearing that. It meant that we couldn't take them out one by one without the other realizing what was up and putting the hostage at risk. But I could eventually listen to it with Spy.

I addressed Velocity. "As the senior Protectorate members what's your plan?"

He shook his head. "None, I'm giving you command of that operation. You're in a much better position to give orders and you know your own power much better than me."

I gaped at him. Me, in command? I started three weeks ago!

My astonishment was interrupted by the arrivals of a few members of New Wave, namely Lady Photon, and Laser Dream. Velocity was the first to greet them and I followed suit.

"Good to see you both, we'll need all the help we can get for this one." Quickly he resumed the situation for the two women, Manpower joining us shortly thereafter.

For my part I remained silent, still digesting the fact that Velocity was giving me command. His reasoning made sense but I had a hard time accepting it. I had no experience, and while I was loath to admit it, it was much easier to direct my partners because I knew that they couldn't die. If I screw up I would be devastated but It wouldn't be permanent. And now he wants me to direct an operation that would risk fellow heroes but also the hospital patient and personal.

I was taken out of my musing when I felt the Menageries triggering again. Thankfully the others were still speaking about the situation.

Oh, that one is really good./It's the counterpart of Weapon Summoning, Armor Summoning./It does exactly what it says on the tin. Transforming our partners into armor./In a way it's much more useful than weapon, it doesn't occupy a hand, protect our bodies, and we still have access to their power./The only problem I can see is PR-wise, people may not recognize us if we're constantly changing costumes./Might even be dangerous in some situation if an ally attacks us by mistake because he didn't recognize us./Wait, would we keep our mask?/That's an excellent question, be right back.

That Mind disappeared into the Mental Realm and I turned my attention to the discussion that was taking place between Velocity and Lady Photon.

She was explaining that Brandish went on to check on Vicky, and that Manpower followed her. Satisfied that I wasn't missing anything important I listened to the Mind that just returned.

Okay, I tested the power in the Mental Realm, good news the armor fused with our costume instead of wholly replacing it. I tried with White and it gave me a thick fur coat, a sort of chapka, and furry boots but my mask remained./I also tried with Red and it works the same way with a sort of red and black latex bodysuit with added wings.

That was excellent news, I could freely use that power without worrying about my identity. Of course, I would still need to be careful with the public and my allies. Selecting good armor partners and exploring combinations with other powers would be important but that could wait, the discussion was turning toward the strategy we would use. The others were clearly waiting for me to give my opinion.

What would be a good strategy this time?

Considering this is the E88 we're dealing with, Negotiations are probably off the table. Because fuckwad Nazis are going to be stupid.

Getting inside invisible and doing some take-downs as needed might be good. With the right weapon and armor, it is definitely doable.

And, Zagan? You could always take the route other Menagerie stories have done. I enjoy Quests, but sometimes just unleashing the full story version is needed. So do what you need to do.

If some nasty people are waiting inside, dealing with them with some of the more nasty summons might be in order. As long as there is a limit to collateral damage.

Thanks for the support. However, the problem does not come from the quest format not at all. I really enjoy this format, it motivate me. The 100 words minimum per chapter gave me a clear chapter division, and the time of the subvote give me some rest between chapters.
And even if I sometimes grumble against your vote (Wyverian? Calming Aura? really) I still enjoy the challenge of adapting my idea to the result of the vote.

200 points is enough for vehicle summoning :)

As for strategy- infiltrate and then breach?
That's my idea too.
To be fair at the time I assumed it was a full dragonkin form. Like a drake or something...

Are write-ins allowed? I wanna do infiltrate while 2 others continue to use the drones. Then strike from multiple directions.
