[X] Power

I am hoping we get to roll something from the Capstone list this time. That would be fun. Or Dimensional Adaptation.

[X] Creature

Still going for my "Spend less that what we have gained this chapter" plan. So I'll push for something costing 200 points or less.

By the way, this has been bothering me but what is meant by the Void Chicken's eggs make good mayonnaise? The description states that it smells like burnt hair and apparently the only being in the game who likes the stuff is a shadow creature living in the sewers. I never played the game and thus might be missing something but it honestly sounds to me like a particularly nasty foodstuff.

[X] Power
And lastly, she may start to "fork" herself, but that wouldn't be for some time. She wants to be confident in her ability to reintegrate her "forks" with her main self before doing that.
I'm confuse why use "fork"?
When she was what was in front of her, Aylamon slumped down and whined. "Oh, come on! That's not fair!"
When she "saw" what was in front of her. Missing a "saw" better was and what
Aylamon has pretty much reached the peak of her potential.
***
Rafflesimon but from what I understand it can only be reached by fusing with Rosemon and we don't have access to it
Couldn't Aylamon evolve into Rosemon? Like where you get that it require to fuse with Rosemon? Also does that mean Rosemon Burst Mode isn't possible? Couldn't Alex have something that would make it possible among his powers

I did play Stardew Valley, but I'll admit that I didn't reread the description of the mayonnaise. I just saw that it was worth a lot of money (relatively) and presumed that it must be good. A shaky assumption, I'll admit. We'll just assume that as a Toriko level chef, Alex can do a must better job of it than the hero of the game.

Well, from my understanding the verb "forking" is used in programming.

split (a process) into two or more independent processes.the attack can only work against a server that forks separate processes to handle client requests

And I've seen it used in fiction in relation to AI as a synonym for "cloning". Basically an AI create a number of fork ot itself, each one assigned to a specific task. There is the possibility of reintegrating the forks at a later point.

When she "saw" what was in front of her. Missing a "saw" better was and what
Thanks, I corrected it.

Couldn't Aylamon evolve into Rosemon?
Hm, technically yes, because from I understand Digimon can pretty much Digilvove into any other higher-level Digimon if they have the right data.
So, if Aylamon (a Floramon), regressed to the in-training stage of Tanemon, and then went to Palmon instead of Floramon, she could end up as a Rosemon.
But that's not the "natural" path for her.
In addition, to facilitate the handling of the quest, I simplified my Digimons by giving them two paths (no more no less).
So Aylamon has access to the following forms:

Digivolution paths:
-Floramon > Kiwimon > Blossomon > Lotosmon
-Floramon > Woodmon > Cherrymon > Ceresmon

Like where you get that it require to fuse with Rosemon?
Well, on the wiki page for Lotosmon it's noted like that:

And on Rafflesimon page we have those two lines:

Rafflesimon is a Jogress level Digimon that Jogresses from Rosemon (Original) and Lotusmon.
Rafflesimon DNA digivolves from Rosemon and Lotosmon.

Also does that mean Rosemon Burst Mode isn't possible? Couldn't Alex have something that would make it possible among his powers
I didn't even know that Burst mode even existed before you mentioned it. (or I least I didn't remember it)
As there's no official Burst mode for Lotosmon, I have nothing to base it on. That said it's just a super mode, so it's not out of the question entirely. It may come up at some point but honestly, it's unlikely that I'll find a good place to include it. (And there's a good chance that I'll forget. I like Digimon, but I'm not that much of a fan and it's been something like twenty years since I've seen the first season of the anime.)
Sorry.

Fair enough. After all, Toriko is a setting where there are multiple foods that either taste horrid or outright kill you if prepared incorrectly. And incorrect preparations include such things as not demonstrating proper manners or failing to perform one million cuts in a second. Not a stretch to imagine Void Eggs being similarly special in their requirements.

Since Toriko was brought up, I felt it should be mentioned that Alex's skill as a 5 star chef is considered the mid point, as his cooking skill comes from Toriko and their rating system goes up to ten stars with chefs like 1 Millimeter Yuda, someone who specializes in making medicinal cuisine, at the top. Something of note is this man was able to create a dish that could cure people of a poison that kills within an hour, in just a few minutes, and then stated he could make enough for 100,000 people on his own, (though Komatsu refined it to be more consistent and taste better, that's still mind boggling this number accounts for the failure rate of the old method for making Colored Rice).

To make what I'm alluding to more direct, Alex has yet to reach his full potential in cooking, if he were to try training it.

Will they be working on getting that other line?

From when you introduced her I believe she'd be to stubborn to digivolve into a Palmon.

There are a number of foods that smell bad but people swear it tastes good. So I'm fine with assuming the smell is off putting and most chefs don't know how to minimize the scent.

[X] Creature

Is there a particular reason why people are voting for power this time?
Probably to avoid getting a Creature.

Even after all these years I'm so glad that people remember Toriko despite the stinker of an ending and the anime.

But yeah at highest levels cooks can literally hear ingredients, which is something I'd love for Alex lol

Chapter 236: Sub-Vote
[X] Power
Power Roll: (660 points)
Entry Roll D36=4
600 Magic Amplification, 600 Speed Amplification, 600 Strength Amplification

Our first roll in the Capstone Power list. The results aren't the most exciting but are still quite nice.
Remember that as we used "Reject" last time, we must pick something this time.

Details:
-Magic Amplification: Each time you gain this power increase the multiplier of your Magic Boost power by 1.
(It becomes x3 the first time, x4 the second time, and so on.)
-Speed Amplification: Each time you gain this power increase the multiplier of your Speed Boost power by 1.
(It becomes x3 the first time, x4 the second time, and so on.)
-Strength Amplification: Each time you gain this power increase the multiplier of your Strength Boost power by 1.
(It becomes x3 the first time, x4 the second time, and so on.)

Vote:

[] 600 Magic Amplification
[] 600 Speed Amplification
[] 600 Strength Amplification

Voting will be closed Saturday at 3 PM GMT

Will they be working on getting that other line?
Yep, once she mastered the Lotosmon stage.

[X] 600 Speed Amplification

Speed is good,we have a lot of heavy hitters, making them faster gives foes less time to react or no time to react

[X] 600 Speed Amplification

I wish we'd gone for a partner, now we're having to spend most of our points on a bonus that isn't that great all things considered.
