Excellent remark. While I'm not opposed to including the memory-saving thing of the Imperial orb, I didn't include it in my power listing of Princess (and the orb that goes with her) because I couldn't think of any way that it would be useful outside of a time loop. (Assuming only Alex could use it of course).
Any idea on that front?

I mean could be useful in a fight against grey boy or that time endbringer. Or time manipulation tech/powers that can rewind. Add in eldritch for Alex and Princess and they are great against time manipulation.
Don't know if there is a picture for the hydra and if not would this help?

Its definitely an interesting function to have in the background just in case we do need it either from outside interference or from a summon we happen to get like those Mimics that can create time loops (even though they are super expensive at 1000 points), sure we keep the memories but could be useful for others.

That might be more doable, to control the traps and the doors of the palace perhaps. Not sure how useful it would be, nobody should be able to enter the palace without direct help from Alex.

Question for the author. I know you've said when I asked about Phoenix force that the mc would get it but not necessarily become an avatar of the Phoenix. But would the Phoenix be able to use its full powers when he gets it? This meaning he would be able to resurrect people from the dead 'cough Hero cough'
Also if he get the Phoenix force wouldn't the rage bird of destruction and recreation take one look at earth bet and break out the gasoline and matches?

Yes, resurrecting people would be within its abilities but without an existing link a body in good enough shape would be needed, not someone dead a hundred years ago or someone that was thrown in the ocean and eaten by fish, but ash would work because of the phoenix imagery)
Also if he get the Phoenix force wouldn't the rage bird of destruction and recreation take one look at earth bet and break out the gasoline and matches?

That's an awesome find. I will milk the potential of this orb for all it's worth.

While I was still trying to decide on where to go I had already decided on who would accompany me. If the Empire was hunting my partners, I needed tougher ones.
I began with Rainbow, the giant tiger/lion appearing in a blink. An instant later he was covered in pseudo-samurai-style armor, including a helmet for his head and a saddle with room for at least five people. His size and speed combined with the armor should make him a much harder target.
With him, I called on Shadow, even if against all odds someone managed to hit him despite its Presence Concealment his servant's toughness and his regeneration would protect him from the worst of it. I wouldn't be riding him for now, he would follow along to hopefully counter-ambush any potential attacker.
I didn't stop there and summoned Eye to replace Hover in the sky. I hoped that being smaller and more agile in the air would make it more difficult to hit.
And lastly, I choose to bring out my Vampire Frog Staff, they could kill the Frog as many times as they want I could always bring it back.
To finish things off I applied the Lightning theme to everyone, including myself. It wouldn't be strong enough to repulse bullets but even slowing them down by a fraction could be worthwhile.
With a few words, I gave them their orders.
After a moment of reflection, I also summoned five tiny critters that I could hide on my person or under Rainbow's armor. Mainly for the benefit of Strength of Many.
As I concluded my summoning I secretly hoped that the killers of my partners were keeping an eye on me.
I want them to think that replenishing my troop didn't cost me anything.
Satisfied with my choice of companion I still needed to decide on my destination. Not wanting to waste too much time I settled on the Town Hall, the Hospital was tempting but allowing the Empire to have the Mayor hostage would be bad.
Just as I jumped on Rainbow's back my earbud crackled to life.
"Compendium can you hear me?" I didn't recognize the voice but I was really glad that someone was contacting me.
"Yes, who is this?"
"My name is Dragon." Hearing that I resist the urge to let my inner fanboy out, now was not the time.
"Armsmaster asked me to act as Console for you all until the PRT building is secured."
"Wow, didn't expect that." I shake my head. "While I would love to chat with you, we don't have time. What can you tell me?"
"You're right we'll talk another time. The PRT HQ is still under assault and communication is still cut, I'm sending one of my suits but it will take time to arrive. Armsmaster and Battery are currently handling the police station, they need to move carefully so it's slow going. Triumph rushed to handle Town Hall and Dovetail is on her way to join him, they should be able to handle it. Velocity was dispatched to Brockton General. And New Wave should join you at the school in a few minutes, what's the situation here?"
"You can inform New Wave that they're not needed here." I resumed the situation as fast as I could. And it was satisfying to hear the anger in her voice when I mentioned the attack on my partners.
"As you can see they'll probably be more useful elsewhere."
"That's some impressive work Compendium. Very well, I'll redirect them. For your part, I recommend going to the Hospital. It's the closest location without support. I will need to inform the others about that van."
So much for my reasoning. "Roger that. Do you know where the Empire capes are? I was surprised to not find even one of them here."
There was a pause at that. "...We don't know. We can't find them anywhere. We expected them at least at the PRT HQ or at Townhall. But no trace of them. During a lull in the action, Armsmaster raises the possibility that all those attacks may just be diversions."
That was a worrying thought. As I pondered that I absently directed Rainbow to take to the sky with Grant Movement. "A distraction for what?"
I only realized that I spoke out loud when Dragon responded. "That's the problem, we have no idea. I'm currently analyzing the data. I need to contact New Wave, talk to you soon. Dragon out."
As we flew toward the Hospital I joined my Minds in analyzing the two creatures I gained during this exchange.
So the first one is pretty minor. A cat-sized fish-crustacean with one eye. Nothing remarkable about it./Except that it's very cute and smarter than could be expected for such a creature./Its ability to move on land by rolling on itself might come in handy but that's pretty much all.
Internally I nodded as I looked at it myself, nice but not useful right now.
But the second one, oh that one is a doozy. A laundry list of power just by itself and what comes with it, my god I couldn't believe it./Let's start with the creature itself. It's a goddamn mythological Hydra, nine heads and all. 20 meters in length and nearly double that with the tail. Multiple magical breath weapons, teleportation, and she can communicate with us by telepathy./And yep, it's a girl called Princess.
That was already really impressive. I refrained from looking and waited for my Minds to continue.
And get that she's the sacred guardian of a mystical relic, so the Menagerie decided to give us the relic at the same time when we summon her./It's a snowglobe that contains a pocket dimension that we can access at any time, and it is big because it contains a palace with the ground that goes with it. Something like 20 square kilometers./We could install our lab in there, stock all our materials, create a training room, even a relaxation area./Princess might just be the most useful partner we ever got. She managed to cover both immense combat prowess and mundane utility./She's really big but still small enough to be deployed in an urban environment, and we can transport her inside the orb./I think we found how we're going to use our second slot of Maintain Summoning.
This was indeed a really major find. I opt to summon her and her orb at the first opportunity.
A few seconds later we reached Brockton General. I directed Rainbow to land some distance away, like at Arcadia I couldn't see much. All the doors were closed, and a few people were milling around seemingly lost. I saw no sign of Velocity.
What should I do?
[] Find Velocity before doing anything.
[] Enter by the top and sweep the building down.
[] Enter by the bottom and sweep the building up.
[] Send the Drone to scout first.
That's my fault. We have two creatures that could be called Drone, the Attack Drone from Ark, recently renamed Hover. Which was destroyed by the mysterious attackers and replaced by Eye. And the Snitch named Drone because I don't want to reveal to Alex that he can gain creatures from his own universe (beside mundane animals) which is still in perfect shape and controlled by Clank.
Sorry for the confusion.
