With Zoologist we can train even better our pokemon and get our digimon sister not just blind training.
Would he also get 999/Hug full info of being a baby and when he grow up would save a multiverse against his papa and other powerfull being with love.
Hope there a creature that help with paper works because of all the new info he has now. He will cry a bit with all those documents he has to make.
starro - does he affect long-term mastered people? Starro can work with aliens, gods, alien gods, and telepathic gorillas, anything short of scion and endbringers should be susceptible to his powers, he should be able to stop echidna at the very least
this also adds potential to roll the black mercy, which no one in worm would beat, scion would gleefully go into the dreams
personally, I think it should have been Jarro, same result, but a much more workable personality
floramon - if it's possible to choose his next digivolution my personal choice would be Ninjamon
after watching the series Which Ninja from gaijin goombah you realize how much versatility shinobi had, far beyond the assassins they are boiled down to
it's the thousand small skills that make ninjas such exceptional force multipliers, even just the role of a teacher would be valuable
assuming it has actual ninja skills beyond simply the name
babel fish - might help Noctis capes and those with eidetic memories to learn languages faster
Gold Slime - at least we can make some golden detailing on any future project
Frillish -Poltergeist is now probably available with Zoologist an excellent move as its anti weapon in nature, ideal against tinkers
Hello Zagan, I have two remarks :
-Isn't Frillish a ghost pokemon? Shouldn't he be immune to normal (physical) attacks?
-I think the power "Grant summoning" must be modified. The purpose of the celestial menagerie is to save as many "being" as possible. It accomplishes this by granting a special individual increasingly powerful summons and powers (to the point of immortality). And the "projections" are protected because they are totally immortal as long as their keeper is alive. Under that logic, isn't the power "grant summoning" defeating the purpose of the celestial menagerie itself by giving away those summons to less powerful masters? What happens when the new master dies?? Does the summons die with its new master?
I think another rule must be added to that power. "When the recipient of the grant dies, the summon return to the keeper"
That's because I made a distinction between physical attacks made by non-pokemon, which I consider to be typeless. Akin to Struggle.
And Normal-type moves that use pokemon energy/aura of the "Normal" type. On a case-by-case basis, I may judge some Parahuman power to count as normal type and have Buoy be immune to it. No specific example come to mind at the moment but I'm sure some exist.

That's excellent reasoning even if the current mechanic could be justified in the lore.
A Keeper soul is special in that it easily grows and adapts to having patterns engraved into it, explaining why they are chosen. Meanwhile, a "normal" soul doesn't grow, not in the right way, but it could still support one pattern, and this is the justification for Grant Summoning. So even if the being dies the granted pattern stays on its soul as it reincarnated.
Your addition makes sense but could be abused. You could grant a bunch of creatures to a number of subordinates, to artificially augment your summoning limit in a fashion, for a particularly difficult fight. And then kill them all to regain your creatures.
Still I keep the idea in mind.

Sorry for the delay. I was really busy this week. It's not the most groundbreaking chapter but I hope you like it. I almost waited for tomorrow to post it because tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of the quest but we celebrated chapter 100 not long ago so it seems redundant. And I didn't want to make you wait anymore.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Untangling Purity's situation turns out to not be easy. Once Miss Militia joined us I explained the situation to her. The two women eyeing each other warily all the while.
The heroine contacted Director Piggot and Armsmaster directly. It took some time to relay the situation to them and to reach a consensus but finally an accord was reached. And a truce was established.
I was contacted directly by Director Piggot in my earbud.
"Compendium, you are to teleport Purity to guest suite four and to stay with her until you are relieved from duty. You are responsible both for her security and most importantly for the security of everyone else in the building. I want you ready to stop her at the drop of a hat. Understood?"
"But what about the patrol?"
"Don't worry about it. You have your order. Piggot Out."
I still wasn't accustomed to the Director's abruptness and technically I was pretty sure that she couldn't give me an order, we weren't in the same chain of command. That said, I had no reason to disagree.
I turned toward an impatient-looking Purity.
"I'm going to call one of my partners that can teleport. Please don't be alarmed." The woman nodded to my warning.
"Olky, I need you."
My elf appeared promptly and Purity did jump back but nothing more than that.
I explained to Olky where we wanted to go and he nodded. Before we departed I dismissed my partners that I couldn't take with me.
Purity put her hand on my shoulder and my elf took my hand. After a familiar but disorienting sensation, we reappeared in something that looks like a hotel room. A single bed with a bedside table, a wooden table with two chairs in the middle of the room, a wardrobe against the left wall, and a door leading to a small bathroom.
Sadly teleportation didn't seem to agree with little Aster and she started crying as soon as we appeared. This time her mother didn't seem to be able to calm her.
As the crying continued I searched for a way to help. Hitting on an idea I spoke up. "Would giving her a plush toy help?"
"What? Hum, yes. Sure. If you can find something." The distracted mother didn't look at me and I'm not even sure she understood my question. But I'll take that as a yes.
I summoned an Aylamon plushie in my hand. "Here, try to give her that. Let's see if she likes it."
Purity seemed bewildered when she saw me pull a toy out of nowhere but her crying daughter convinced her to drop the subject. She grabbed the plushy and presented it to her daughter. The babe didn't stop crying immediately but eventually, she did spot the colorful object present to her and it seemed to catch her attention enough that she forgot about the discomfort generated by teleportation and tried to grab it.
The ex-villainess gave a sigh of relief and a smile of gratitude.
With that matter addressed I turned toward my elf. "Thank you, Olky. Could you go see if you can find anything that could help care for a baby? A crib perhaps?"
He nodded seriously. "Olky will go look." He disappeared immediately afterward.
Turning around I saw that Purity was looking at me, Aster still in her arms was hugging her Aylamon plushy with enthusiasm.
I remained silent trying to think of a way to break the ice. I wasn't sure what to do or say. Being this close to a well-known but non-hostile villain was weird.
Before I could find the right words, she beat me to it.
"So what will happen to us now?" She was uncertain and afraid so I tried to reassure her.
"I honestly don't know. If you're here it means that the PRT and Protectorate are at least willing to entertain your request. And it would be stupid to refuse, it means gaining critical intel against the Empire and a new hero on the street."
It felt weird to defend that politic, considering my own feeling on the subject but it seems to help her a little.
"I hope they feel the same way. Do you think they'll have me stay here?"
I grimaced at that. "Honestly I don't think so. Overcoming your previous reputation would be an uphill battle even with a rebranding. Everyone would see through it. In another part of the country it would be much easier I think."
She looked distraught at that but looking at her now sleeping daughter she nodded with resolution.
"You're probably right and if it means Aster is safe, I'm willing to do it." Still holding her daughter she sat on the bed and without looking in my direction she spoke. "I presumed that you're here to keep an eye on me?"
I shrugged. "There's some of that, yes. But mostly I'm supposed to both protect you and protect the PRT from you. I think you've been honest with us so far, but some precautions are understandable." Well, that and The Libra didn't ping when she spoke up earlier.
"I wouldn't do that, I wouldn't risk my daughter."
"I know that and I think my superior understands that too. However, rules and regulations are far less understanding."
Silence returned in the room after that and I positioned myself in a corner of the room. I sent Clank back to my lab, I wouldn't need him here.
I had just opened my phone when I felt the Menagerie triggering again. I resisted the urge to grab my head, I just received the sum total of humanity's, and beyond, knowledge on zoology all at once. Only my multiple Minds allow me to process so much information at once. It includes environmental, biological, compartmental data, everything. I knew that I could apply for any number of doctorates in dozens of fields.
And it didn't stop with mundane animals, it also encompassed my partners. It goes well beyond what I got from the Trainer and Veterinary power. Those were specialized fields of knowledge, vast in their way but still focused. Zoology was different, less directly useful but much more encompassing.
I learned about Buoy preys and its predator, I learned that Raptor was part of a dispositif designed to restore a planet Biosphere, I learned that Hercules really was an artificial creature designed to die without a digestive system and that one was hastily added afterward, I learned that my Bulky Vendor belongs to a group called Heartless that seek to extinguish the heart of the universe, I learned that Rex was in fact an iguana that was somehow mutated by radiation, and it continued like that for every one of them.
It was a lot to digest all at once. Three-quarters of my Minds immediately start cataloging that knowledge and searching for useful bits of info.
The sound of a door opening was a welcome distraction to my musing. Armsmaster and Director Piggot were here. Purity was eyeing them warily. I guess it was time for the interrogation to start.
Keep on scooping low level powers or hit choose a category power which than lets us try for a big creature. Worst case we get another power and reduce the pool making it more likely to get the choose a category power.
Plus still a lot of good 100 and 200 pointers like Strategist for 100 that would help us out a lot
Independent Agent at 200 would let us send a summon out on patrol
Vehicle and Armor summoning are both 200 pointers as well as various boost powers
Adaptive Immunity at 200 is amazing as well and would go well with the large number of summons at our command
And both the improved limit (so more summons at once) and improved distance are 200 points.
she did spot the colorful object present to her and it seemed to catch her attention enough that she forgot about the discomfort generated by teleportation and tried to grab it.
Gotta admit I was kinda looking forward to him falling down in pain. After all Vet made him cringe, Solar all but KO'd him. Gaining that kind of knowledge should had laid him out. And kinda bad time for it considering the current situation.

Literally, a The Prophecy Is True moment. Like, guys what's happening here is insane. The Director and Piggot are coming here for what is the strangest meeting/ turning point in the Bay's history. Meanwhile, Compendium's mind endures cosmos-shattering revelations.
