Well, then here's my idea

Get us more stompy mechs and give them and our tanks some much needed upgrades.
We need ship building action. We just lost a good chunk of our screening ships- we are down to 6 remaining Aries-S destroyers and only 2 Crux-S missile frigates. With the Kil'drabi frigates taking up the slack and our older ships struggling as well.

I'd say go for double the Prow Lances and just go for 1 Medium Lance Turret. Also I don't know where you go -11 DP from since altogether that should be -9 DP (same with my suggested loadout).

This is primarily meant to be a sniper ship, so might as well embrace that bit since ideally it's always going to be facing the target and if it gets flanked it has enough speed to zoom away.

As for the load-out choice, with the fixed math, I will upgrade the 2 lance turrets to medium, as I want a bit of flexibility in target acquisition, and honestly, I really did want to commit to the bit on it being a pure sniper boat, but erred on caution since shit happens and foxes do get in among the hens sometimes.

While I would love to have more Warpacks, we honestly need more ships at the moment, specifically Crux-S's, but I do agree with that research so we can improve our ground forces.

Yep, there's no stipulations against that, and of all the times I suggested it the QM hasn't said I couldn't so I take it that it's not impossible.

Actually, HeroCooky said we could make contact with them as a Free action so we could do that along with our attack plan.

But if we plan to start a ground campaign we need bpth more wheight and the upgrades or else a lot of people will die.

Don't be so hyperbolic, we do have a lot of SAGs and the capacity to move them and we are going to concentrate on taking a couple systems. But right now keep in mind that the enemy has more ships than us and will likely do what they can to keep getting more ships and with 2 of our traits specifically increasing the amount of ships we make per action we could probably outproduce them and drown them in ships if we really focused on it.

--[] Objectives: Take and hold ground within the aforementioned systems. Full control of planetary bodies is not strictly necessary but greatly preferred. Then, bunker down fleet assets and prepare for a counterattack from Chaos.
-[] Free: Contact the Temple Authority officially to both properly establish diplomatic ties (assign 1 Choir to a permanent diplomatic delegation if that is acceptable to the Marshan for more effective communication) and inform them of our intended offensive to relieve some of the pressure on them.

I don't know if it is possible but can we do something for the jolly eco to be a passive thing ?

Like we could write-in something about it to be that it gives a boost or even bonus to trade, heck try to turn it into a passive conversion to our faith because of the trade between both us and the families,the believers being more resistent to chaos is a very good start point, and that after X number of turns we could just use one action to firmly place them into the Star Children warm embrace.

Because one of our best actions was using the write-in mechanic.

I like this except with, and I know this is a dealbreaker, the Hive Agriculture (and Anti-Ork, but that's just a bonus) Research, because I wanna be ready to pull the trigger on Voxx Primus the MOMENT we have 621 handled.
