[X] Plan: Lend-Lease to stall the Diaconate
We don't want New Dawn in just yet since the cololised sub sectors are still spinning up. Plus we might be getting more sub sectors in that area soon. Also, I @'ed Neablis about the ship designs, we can just use the ones that we sent to the Dutchy, no need to spend a day and and update on making a new design.[X] Plan: Lend-Lease to stall the Diaconate - We aren't Imperium we aren't throwing people at problem. Version
-[X] [General] Integrate The New Territories (5/17)
-[X] [Free] Consecrate In Sacred Sand (Shattered Yards)
-[X] [Free] Set See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil, Do No Evil, & Hiss of the Steam Valve to 555 choirs.
-[X] [Free] Swap the ISC to New Dawn R&D
-[X] [Military] Design New Voidship Classes
--[X] Design Ships For The Coalition - [100 DP]
-[X] [Military] Fleet Construction - (2.600 Points per Action)
--[X] Sell Ships To The Coalition (Requires Design Ships For The Coalition) x2
-[X] [General] Ministry of Subversion, Infiltration, and Interstellar Communication (Cry for the Future action)
--[X] Military Aid To The Coalition
While Neablis plan is intresting it is too risky when we can wait a turn and ask Starchild how to blow Daemon world to kingdom come. I think that we should just throw more ships at coalition while we wait for @Alectai to design ships for them
Does stopping a Symphony cost AP?Notably, I'm leaving the symphony on. We need the actions, it's at restive, we have two more ticks before it's a real issue. I'll consider turning it off at medium and definitely turn it off at high. I'm expecting the final push at the demon-world to potentially drop it, and because it requires an action to turn on I'd prefer to leave it on as long as possible for action-efficency. I bet it'll drop again as the war with the Diaconate kicks off.
good point, but given that Coalition probably lacks industrial capacity of the duchy we should make them a bit easier to make and focused on smaller sizesWe don't want New Dawn in just yet since the cololised sub sectors are still spinning up. Monumental On-Board Manufactory - Fuck it. This ship is now a Warp-capable manufactury capable of outright producing most non-Warp ship-classes and items up to Heavy Monitors. You can guess what that means for the fleets they are attached to.
We want them to be able to actually use the stuff we give them. Not watch them flounder with no idea how to use the stuff and just have them lose it to the Diaconate when they focus on it.We could bring said industrial capacity to them with something like this. We could even put it inside a [Grand Cruiser] with 3 DP to spare.
It's a factory ship; it's supposed to be stationed behind their lines, not fight in the front. The only way they'd lose it to the Diaconate would either be through infiltration and sabotage, or it's reached the point that the Triumvirate's frontlines have been breached and by then we'd have bigger things to worry about than losing a single ship.We want them to be able to actually use the stuff we give them. Not watch them flounder with no idea how to use the stuff and just have them lose it to the Diaconate when they focus on it.
1.b) Shipbuilding
Their total ship production capabilities are pitiful.
They primarily use Light Cruisers, with only three Heavy Cruisers across all systems.
Technologically, the Coalition is far behind the Federation and only slightly above Imperial-Era tech.
there is literally no need to make a whole new ship design when we wouldn't be giving them our best stuff anyway
-[X] [Free] Set See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil, Do No Evil, & Hiss of the Steam Valve to 555 choirs. Take 555 choirs from that and Love Unto Death and see if they'll help with the Demon World. Put all extra choirs into Love Unto Death.
See No Evil, etc only takes 500 choirs, not 555:-[X] [Free] Set See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil, Do No Evil, & Hiss of the Steam Valve to 555 choirs.
See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil, Do No Evil - Requires 500 Choirs to operate fully. Upgrades [A Hand to Hold the Candle, A Hand to Guide the Sword, A Mouth to Sing the Hymns, Two Feet to March against the Dark, and Eyes to See the Star Child's Light] to [My Soul Has Seen The Glory Of The Coming Of Our Star...]. Singing at less than 100% Choir Requirements transfers an equivalent of 0.2% of the trait per Choir assigned. The trait will apply to all Non-Faithful half effectiveness.
I know right, I specifically got HeroCooky to change that stuff to 'Locked' status a while ago. Why people want to keep touching it is beyond me. Though it isn't helped by the fact that I can't accurately track how many Choirs we have anymore.
1. That is literally below our level of abstraction, how to work our basic stuff is something we would tell them.quite the opposite, export varieties are usually modified to fit the other country needs and capabilities (tech, industry and maintainance)
if we make a personalized ship for them we can ensure they can punch above their weight as much as doable despite their size
also their inevitably loss of sectors (and following genocides) can allow us to make some funny things (use the warp calming symphonie several times),it would be math fuckery to a degree, but as always
>as long is for fighting a enemy and not for spamming dev and research
we should be fine-ish
I stuck 555 choirs into it because 555 is a holy number of the star child, and we've got so many choirs that even a small chance at improved benefit is worth 55 extra choirs.I know right, I specifically got HeroCooky to change that stuff to 'Locked' status a while ago. Why people want to keep touching it is beyond me. Though it isn't helped by the fact that I can't accurately track how many Choirs we have anymore.
It doesn't cost AP to stop, and we don't have the research symphony on. We only have the extra action sympony and the one that reduces warp tremors.Does stopping a Symphony cost AP?
If not:
Why not turn of the research Symphony?
Its cost increases every turn we have it on, turning it off means our warp disturbance budget is spent only on currently usefull symphonies.
