:V
Let us have that one Cry to the Future Turn with ABoL -- not even recursive loops, just

25 * 1.5 (mechandrite) * 1.25 (A Cry to the Future) = 46 actions

40 actions are all that's needed once we hit All-X since both Void and Civ are already done, and we can grab expeditions or something or do some shipbuilding or titan-crafting

I just want to be done with Dev forever so we can actually just keep on doing interesting things, dammit

😔

My cope aside, considering how the Warp Tremors have kept on being High, I was all for just slamming that fucking Observatory down, but if the QM demands it I'm cool with this

Do we have any ships that have a The Celestial Orrery?

can we stop using Songs this turn?
just to see if the Warp Tremors go down

Wait - why aren't we doing (or at least starting) the Psychic Observatory this turn?! Weren't we all just in agreement it was past time we did it and we need to figure out what is going on with the Warp Tremors and Currents? Even if we don't finish it we should at least start chipping away at it if we want to use more symphonies. We could start doing the Titan too, but it feels like we should keep putting such a vital intelligence tool on the back burner, even with all these other pressing priorities.

How?!

65 (FTL Comms) + 54 (Our Fleets) + 33 (Nomadic Fleets) + 60 (Scouts) + 20 (Devouring) + 40 (Glint) + 140 (Hiss) + 50 (Free) = 462

Your +16 growth last turn put us up to 445. 462 - 445 = 17.

@HeroCooky, is the difference between your and @Aura Dragon's calculations because one choir was assigned to Qualach's Forge so now 66 Choirs are assigned to FTL Comms (and civil Warp 'traffic control'/navigation aid)?

Secondly, now that Qualach's Forge is terraformed does the Irrita's Kin trait mean terraforming another planet automatically starts or does automatic terraforming only kick in when no planets are being actively terraformed (thus they wouldn't begin a new world automatically until Voxx Prime is complete)?

Thirdly, would it be possible to set up automated Star Mechanicum Explorator fleets to explore DAoT ruins, say randomly giving a ~0.2 auto-ticker each turn to one ruin expedition or having a chance of finding new ruins if none at present? The cost of which would be spending action points setting up the institutions and building up Explorator fleets?

Fourthly, does the 'variable action cost' of Titans mean that our final design is limited by committed/available actions on the same turn, or does it mean that depending on what we decide on in the Titan design sub-turn we may not have enough actions that turn to finish development and thus need to invest additional AP over multiple terms to complete the project?

As far as we can determine, the Stellar Growth does not attempt to index the number of its ships, and attempts to do so have been wholly unsuccessful because even a low count returns over ~49k different vessels, which is obviously impossible.

The Shipwright's Grove contains an estimated ~15k Warp-Capable vessels, the majority of which (~57%) are the Living Ships of Irritan [Child]-Of-The-Voids plying the trade routes of their expanded domains.

Fifthly, since the Shipwright's Grove has about ~15k Warp-Capable vessels, of which roughly 8550 (57%) are Irritian vessels/void-Irritans, does that mean the original Stellar Growth estimate was off, that the number of individual Irrita ship-beings has declined with the rise of alternative communal human-derived space vessels and habitats they can join, or something else entirely?

And sixthly, is it possible for us to absorb the Shipwright's Grove's positive traits if and when we do a custom unification action - for example, their faster shipbuilding + better void infrastructure and in-construction Battleship, or some of the more technocratic/meritocratic and even democratic anarchistic aspects of their political and socioeconomic system with we invest more AP, or would it all be superseded by Federation traits and focuses regardless of how we go about integrating them?

Thanks for any answers, and apologies for so many long-winded and in some cases convoluted questions. I'll see you all in the morning (relative to my part of the world).

i agree that psiquic observatory is a must,we need deeper understanding on the warp currents
we need to take 1 action for it this turn, the finish in the next couple turns

@Negentropy. Qualach's Forge shouldn't impact the Choir calculations because they are calculated as 1 per inhabited system. We already had a planet colonised - Node 17c. Even if that had caused the issue it would have been in the opposite direction. It would have made my number be a +18 instead.

Uh, is this a valid plan? Mechadendrite doesn't work on research. I'd prefer to do one of the following actions:
[] [General] Ministry of Subversion, Infiltration, and Interstellar Communication
-[] Formal Exchange Of Diplomatic Contacts With The Clans Who Live Here
-[] ISC Access - (Shipwright's Grove)
-[] Buyout - (Black Cat Company) Inquire with the Black Cat Company the price of buying them out, permanently.

The last one is a writein on my part, but we've been told that this is the appropriate way to learn the cost, and the cost of the action will be counted towards it.

Also, don't forget
[] [Free] Consecrate In Sacred Sand (Qulach's Forge - Qulach's Forge)
Because apparently it's not consecrated already.

Honestly, I want to make a Light Cruiser with the Shatterprow. We've seen how effective the Bloody Midnight is, lets see what a Ram powered by a Psyker can do!
I would prefer to delay our next ship design actions for a few turns, until we do the GRAND LABOR and have a ton of new tech. Then we'll do a few big Heartbeat of Industry turn to update everything and build a few new designs.

Probably. Speaking of Psykana - in 2 turns we have a free Melody. As much as I want to see what love will give us. I'm going to have to hard push for Void 3. Why? Because No Evil only requires that for Level 3.
Void is also my preference. @Alectai can we do Void instead of Health? I want to see what See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil, Do No Evil looks like at level III.

Also, our song ticker ticks up at 0.1 a turn, not 0.2, so we have to wait until next turn for the anti-chaos song.

Do we have any ships that have a The Celestial Orrery?
Every single one of our scouts.

-[] [General] Medical Services IX (0/1)
-[] [General] Colonize (Planet/s)
--[ ] Ivuh - Ubraka (Planetary Mangroves), Llolanov - Kriegar (Temperate Forests and Mild Arctic), Yeogawa - Gheistheim (Flowering Abdundance), Lethysan - Gilians (Wet Terrace Mountains)

-[] [General] Research
--[] [General] Civilian Automata (0/1) (Glint AP)
--[] [General] Void Automata (0/1)
-[] [Military] Construct A God-Engine (Variable Action Cost)
--[ ] Qualach's Forge is ready to go now, that seems like a proper place for our first Titans to be born.
-[ ] [Free] Psykana Auto-Tickers: Melody: Health II, Song: Shield Us From The Influence Of The Four - Protection, Hope, Grounding, Health, Protection
Alas, I don't think we can do that - Mechadendrite only applies to non-research general actions, and the Song auto-ticker progresses at 0.1 per turn and won't complete right now.
...Also I'll feel more at ease if we spend one action building SBGs, to be honest.

But the QM made that plan! surely the QM wouldnt make a plan that doesnt work!

Any particular thought behind health 2?
We only need 1 melody to Upgrade see No evil(void 3), or we could use it to Progress on getting all melodies to at least 1.
See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil, Do No Evil - Grounding III, Protection III, Void II, Silence III, Grounding III

QM wants it, and if the QM wants it, the QM gets it, they ask for so little from us after all.
@HeroCooky
Is going for the all X milestone without a calm-enough-to-symphony Warp part of what you are calling for, or we're those just filler to get a while plan for the Titan?

That is still one Turn off.
@HeroCooky, The problem seems to be in either the previous total (445) that I'm calculating this turns total with or something that isn't a non-essential song as the songs choir math is all the same.
I am stating what I was doing. You got 16 more Choirs this Turn.
@HeroCooky, is the difference between your and @Aura Dragon's calculations because one choir was assigned to Qualach's Forge so now 66 Choirs are assigned to FTL Comms (and civil Warp 'traffic control'/navigation aid)?

1. No. No clue why they/I aren't/am not seeing it, but I added 16 Choirs.
2. They terraform every 50 Years, as they have already done quite a few times.
3. No. That would be a Trait thing, rather than an Action thing.
4. Depending on the size of the Titan. A Scout-Class will take less Actions than an Imperator.
5. No, your Scouts were just shit at counting the flying Warp-Capable Trees/Forest-Ships, lmao. :V
6. Depending on what type of unification, you will likely gain and lose Traits and ISCs, alongside Ethos.
QM wants it, and if the QM wants it, the QM gets it, they ask for so little from us after all.
The plan was a joke, lmao, as the :V indicated. Please just vote for what you want.
Hmm... @HeroCooky can we do a Free Action gift of like Chocolate or Chi-kan to the Watchtower confederacy?
I am sure that flex would get them to pay attention
Those Chik-Ans are Trade Good things, rather than Action Influencers, like Chocolate automatically already is.

Just me fucking around. :V

Ethos meaning how Iconoclast we are and such? Should be interesting

Edit: Honestly going back to the original plan of "1 Warp Observatory, 1 Titan Build Action and 1 Military Expedition. Like I said it is a flex turn because the warp storm is crazy.
