Springtime of Nations II: A European Republic Quest

[X] Authorize the meeting and prepare to negotiate in good faith.

This isn't just the less dickish option, it's also better for us rationally.
We get to look like reasonable actors, not only to the Entente, but to the whole world. Not only does this have the obvious benefit of better diplomatic relations with most of the world, but it will also make the things that we represent seem more reasonable as well, which can be useful in our quest for world revolution, among other things.
British Liberals might be more inclined to start contemplating things such as women's rights and worker protections, French people, particularly the centre-right and conservatives, will see republicanism as a more respectable force and, god forbid, perhaps even preferable to the current regime, the American left will be emboldened, and people across the globe will start listening to reformist voices more often. The Overton window in many countries shall be shifted to a more desirable position for us. Not only is this objectively good for the people of the world, it also, as the Marxists like to say, creates the material conditions for revolution.

Good relations for the Entente will also end, to an extent, our geographical isolation from the rest of the world, and particularly from our allies. Among the many, many other benefits that this grants us, it will allow us to engage in large quantities of trade with the rest of the world. As a developed, industrial and service-based economy, I cannot understate the potential gain to Germany from exporting en masse by trading internationally. The Entente, due to its status as an alliance of developed capitalist economies, is extremely hungry for manufactured goods; England shall not be conquered with bullets and aquatic mammals, but with canned sausages and high-quality-but-affordable typewriters, and the revolution will return to France in shipments of steel and beer cases.
Also, I find the idea of Britain, the bourgeois capitalist nation by excellence, having a deficit with a revolutionary socialist country to be hilarious.

Even if we're pretty much all annoyed that we have to bide our time, it is necessary if we wish to defeat the Imperial League, and the Entente is clearly the lesser evil here.

They're already our enemy, did you forget the part where they blockaded us for years?

[X] Authorize the meeting and stand firm as a matter of principle.
Revenge is a dish best served cold. And right now, good relations with the Entente are incredibly valuable to secure our flank against the absolutist bloc. They aren't our allies, but neutrality in our favor is going to be invaluable in any war situation. If nothing else, France letting us buy grain from them protects us against starvation if the new Union of Kalmar closes the North Sea.

I'm going for this because it weakens Napoleon but ultimately I'll support any of these options as either smart choices or fun ones.
