Biodata comes in tiers? Hmm...we'll have to think on who would have the best, but being able to store them is going to be very useful.

And once we upgrade him enough we'll be able to plug the Emerald in...and thus Neo.

...Well we're going to be upgrading Metal a lot then aren't we?

For now though does anyone have ideas for good biodata targets? Selvaria is the obivous one but who else?

...Also @Kingster is it possible to get biodata more than once from the same person?
What do you mean exactly?

I guess if you lost the original data yes, you would need to scan it again.

Other wish therenis no point, the Sarabia saved in metal's data base.

Absolutely Shadow, he's not the ultimate life form for nothing... ignoring his terrible rolls. Black Doom is probably similarly powerful. Mr. X might also have some pretty good traits, the guy doesn't seem like a slouch in terms of power.

He can't betray us right now. After we plug a Chaos Emerald in him? Who knows?

All I know is, him becoming Neo has always meant he was off the leash. If he decided he didn't want to follow orders after the change, are we really so sure he couldn't do it? He's not our greatest creation for nothing, after all.
the QMs have confirmed multiple times that Metal will never betray us of his own will no matter what, not even becoming Metal Overlord could change that.

Wich of Metal biodata would we change?

(Shard biodata)
Metal Buster
: This one is top biodata, it not only give +5 to combat passively, but it increase to +10 in range and give a ranged option to Metal, wich he would lack otherwise, it also let him keep his distance in combat.

(Conquering Storm biodata)
Ninjutsu Specialist
: Good biodata but more limited, half of Trickery is only +5 right now but can be upgraded to +8 by giving Metal the Upgraded
Processing Power upgrade, wich would increase his Trickery to 17. It also increases his Trickery by 2 and let his use Trickery in combat, allowing
for ambush tactics or similar.

(Piastol biodata)
Metal Hog
: Apparently good, but it only apply when we get to choose Metal actions not all combat rolls, for example it did nothing when attacking the missile launchers while landing the avenger and even in combat it depends of Metal Mystic wich is 5 and we have no actual way of increasing.

I want to have him scan Tangle to get a tail, it just sounds funny to me.

Whisper would probably give an upgrade to his ranged trait

Gemerl could give him the ability to merge with other machines, essentially letting him combine with our mechs and do ridiculous nonsense.

Espio should give him the ability to turn invisible.

we discussed it a bit on the discord, but scanning Creams Chao would let him skip straight to Neo. at the cost of pissing off all her robot friends.

Feeling Metal Hog. As you said, Mystic isn't his greatest strength right now. In terms of usefulness right now, I think Metal Hog is the least and Metal Buster is the most. Not to say Hog isn't useful.

I do want to say the QM's have said that the bio data changes what metal can do in battles plus narratively as well. Like how we had an option to use trickery during the battle with shard.

Thanks, updated the descriptions a little.

Spar with Metal
You must admit, you are currently... limited. You're just not as powerful as some of Dr. Eggman's other allies. If you are to properly serve him, this must change. And Metal is willing to assist in these matters.
Limbs Akimbo: Rusty's most notable combat skill is her limbs' fascinating stretching capabilities. (+5 to Rolls to use her limbs to escape a situation where people don't expect her to have such mobility. Plus +7 to combat rolls.)
Omega is not the only robot we can scan, we could also copy Rusty limbs akimbo wich is pretty decent.

Wait, you mean we'll never be in a situation where Metal Sonic develops an unhealthy lust for power that drives him to go beyond even what Eggman can fathom in terms of power, thus arriving at the brink of sheer godhood and insanity, where upon taking the final step would mean betraying us and most certainly dooming the rest of creation and existence (for who can claim to know what ideas a mad god of metal and binary would have in store for what's essentially their own sandbox to play with), all in the name of beating that faker, where the only hope of stopping the impending doom is his fragile yet cherished relationship with his sisters and the memories made? And thus the fate of the world lies upon that one decision that has players asking if all their choices before were worth it?!

CRINGE!!! QM's give us tougher battles please!!!

Mystic Hog also has the advantages of healing (which seems really rare and helps other units) and 0 AP boosts, while choosing the trickery options will use AP, plus works off of a stat that still won't be great once it's upgrades. It'll be higher than Mystic, yes, but free guaranteed buffs and healing (not just for him, but for other units!) are too good in my opinion.

I'm in favor of storing Ninjutsu myself.

Remember than only incremus is guaranted, the other two spells require a Mystic roll, and Metal Mystic is 5 while the incremus is only +5 and
only worth it over the ninjutsu bonus in combat where Metal have allies if not the buff it offers is the same as ninjutsu specialist. Also metal hog only work on a fight while ninjutsu specialist work in all combat, you can see this in the last update where Metal added the ninjutsu bonus but did not use incremus.

That very Vaguely reminds me of this half joke post XD

(In an alternate timeline, Neo Metal Sonic has managed to undo his programming and has turned on Eggman. He looks down at a horribly beaten Belle, who tried futilely to stop him as he growls in exasperated rage.)

Metal: "WHY DID YOU MAKE ME DO THIS!? You're fighting for a man who only cares about his empire! THINK BELLE THINK! We'll outlive anyone who isn't a machine! We'll live to see this stupid, insignificant planet fade away into cosmic dust! EVERYTHING AND ALMOST EVERYONE you care about will be gone! So tell me! What will you HAVE after FIVE HUNDRED YEARS!?!?"

Belle, wheezing and barely able to speak: "...Y-You, brother... I'd... still have you..."

(Metal actually pauses at that as he stared at his oil covered hands for a moment before Clenching them and looking away before flying off.)

We do have the option to increase his Tricekry stats and remeber that Plasma Pulse only stack it's +20 if the copycat trait give combat bonus.

Also Death Hog is good since Meyal has the option to heal 1 HP and even leqch it from his enemies.

I see all the biodatata useful.

I was keeping all that in mind, I just still think it'd be worth it. I don't see us picking the debuff very often, honestly. +5 is the current boost from Ninjutsu, which will only go up to +8. Healing is dependent on how much the roll that dealt damage won by, which means that it's not unlikely for it to be an easy roll to use on our better combatants, even with the low Mystic modifier. The fights where Incremus can be used are likely to be the more important fights as well, plus being effectively free in action economy, unlike ninjutsu's trickery.

That's a lot of why I'm prioritizing it over ninjutsu.

Why people even want to get rid of Ninjutsu Soecialist?

Like we even have a option to increase by 7 points Tricker stats and not only that but Incrememus and Specialist stack up to Plasma Pulse since only copycat traits are allowed to stack in combat bonus when Plasma Pulse is activated.

Starting next turn, we'll have the option to store a biodata trait so he can acquire more. So it's less 'getting rid of Ninjutsu specialist' and more what is worth putting into storage so we can acquire more before we get the chance to upgrade him again.

next turn we will put a personal for Metal so he can basically put in the PC some of the biodata and the traits they give to open space for more.
