Speaking of the Kabuto dub, be prepared for "THIS IS JAPAN NOT AFGHANISTAN".

The series is already cheesy. The dub makes it even more so.

Update 13 - Jotaro interrogates Moka about his own grampa, and makes her cry
Walking the path of heaven to update every quest I run (which currently numbers exactly 1).

That is who I am.

[x]Go with Aono and Moka to the cafeteria, and discuss the matter over lunch.

"Hey, I know! Why don't we all eat lunch together? Moka, senpai?"

You nod. That's exactly what you were planning on anyway. Moka seems a bit uncomfortable, cought between the two of you, but she gives up and assents.

Not long after, the three of you are having your lunch up on the roof.

You didn't come here for pleasantries, though. You've got questions, and you suspect that as a vampire, Moka's got some answers.

[X] "Why does everyone around here get anxious when I mention my name?"

You bluntly ask her, "Why does everyone around here get anxious when I mention my name?"

Moka seems to be surprised at the question.

Aono takes the moment to chime in. "Actually, I was kind of wondering the same thing, Moka. You did kind of seem to freeze up when you said his name this morning."

Aono's ignorance only serves to deepen the young lady's consternation. Apparently, it must be extremely common knowledge in the monster world...

"You really don't know? I didn't think there was a single monster in the world that didn't know about it..."

Hrm, seems she's getting suspicious. What do you say?

[]<shrug> I was raised by humans. Indulge me.

[](Write-in)

"Well, Tsukune... Kujo-senpai... you know how some human parents tell their children to be good, or else the Boogeyman will get them? There's kind of a similar story that monster parents tell to their kids. According to the story, hiding somewhere out in that big world is an invincible vampire slayer, called JoJo. Legend has it, that JoJo uses a mysterious technique to explode the head of any monster he touches. He's really, really, reeeeeeaaally scary!"

As you thought, it's the way the syllables your name string together and form "JoJo" that unnerves everyone around you.

Although, Moka seems to be well and truly upset about this.

"But the very worst, and scariest thing of all about this is... while there isn't any such monster as the Boogeyman, at least that I know about, JoJo isn't just a fairytale - we learned in Monster World History Class this morning that he's actually a real person, named Joseph Joestar, and he's a famous user of a weird human martial art called Ripple, and in 1938 he went on a rampage across New York, Mexico, and parts of Europe, killing two S-Class Monsters on the same level as Vampires like me... and then he supposedly fought and killed an SSS-Class Monster the next week! And he's still alive, to boot!"

Oh shit, now she's started hyperventilating. Aono wraps his arms around her, trying to make her feel safe. You should

[]Do nothing. It looks like Aono's got this under control.

[]Put a hand on Moka's shoulder, and comfort her silently.

[]Reassure her that your grandpa is actually a pretty swell guy.

[X] *Shrug* You'd be surprised.

I see what you were trying to do there GM and I give the gifts of ODD BRACKETS 「 」
Enjoy them but don't abuse them~!

Also given the whole head exploding thing, it would appear that the Ripple has a negative effect on a youkai's internal energy or youki

I should make clear that you will say "my grandpa is actually a pretty swell guy", and then Moka will realize that you are human, if you choose that.

She also doesn't know yet that Tsukune is human also.

You know guys, I don't think we want to let the bag out on our lineage while we are in a cafeteria, that is you know, full of other people who could easily hear us.

We are on the roof, though.

If that option is combined with "I was raised by humans", will the result be the same, or will Moka think us a monster adopted by Joseph?

Probably not (even if we are on the roof), and if it looks like it's getting significant support I'll switch. But for now? Too trollish/funny not to vote for.

Let's not fuck with our Kohai's chances of becoming AONO TSUKUNE, MILF HUNTER EXTRAORDINAIRE!

EDIT: I've been waiting to make that joke.

Oh.

Derp.:V

Still not exactly a good idea while she's panicking. A startled Outer Moka is an startle S-Class Monster who doesn't know how to gauge and control her own strength. Which you know, could hurt a lot.
Not really; Outer Moka doesn't have anything like her Inner self's strength or Yoki reserves. She's above human, sure, but nowhere near S-rank. Not to mention her distinct lack of aggressive instincts.

She's not nearly as strong as Inner Moka, nor does she have the energy levels sure, but her strength is still what I would considered Base S level. She can't use it or control it, but in moments of extreme panic/stress she can push/hit like a fucking truck at the lowest and a lot higher at the highest. Which is nothing to sleeze at, as you know, Jotaro is still just a baseline human.

Because it'll be funny.

I dunno- the strongest feat I recall from Outer is lifting a giant hammer- definitely above human, but compared to Inner Moka? The girl who could kick people hard enough to send them flying through multiple trees and crater the ground at very start of the series? They're not even in the same league in terms of physical power (unless I'm forgetting something Outer's done- and recall, she lost to Saizo in terms of physical power).

Granted, it's still not something a normal human wants to get hit with, but then Jotaro isn't exactly a normal human.
