I created a rudimentary tv tropes page for this work. Unfortunatly I have bearly any idea what I'm doing so if anyone whit more skill in this sort of think could help, I' d really apriciate it.
I absolutely appreciate the interest and the effort!

Having said that, in the future it might be better to leave a message on my profile instead of bumping the thread -- you know, so other people don't get their hopes up that there's been an update, only to find otherwise.

-----------------

As to the distinct lack of an update the rest of y'all may have noticed...

A few days after I posted the last update, I got fired.

Then I spent a month looking for another job, and had too much anxiety to write. Then I found one, but ever since it's been kicking my ass and I don't have the time or the energy to work on this.

I haven't forgotten about you all, and I do still plan on getting this going again when circumstances permit... but unfortunately I can't yet see when that will be.

So for the time being, we're going to call an unofficial hiatus again. Yeah, I know, it sucks and it's annoying, but there's not as much I can do about that as I'd like.

Y'all keep safe out there, and if I don't return before then? Have a Merry Christmas everyone, and here's to hoping next year won't be as much of a clusterfuck as this one wound up being.

Update 175 - Season Finale and Joestar, part 6
I have almost no recollection of what the hell I was doing -- but let's try picking this back up anyway and see if I can't devise something salvageable.
------------
[x]Check on our other heroes, and confirm their own safety!

Claws and wings extended as she stood protectively in front of her friends, Kurumu grit her teeth. "I've cast an illusion to keep people's attention off of us, but I don't think I can keep it up for very long. So whatever we're doing, we need to figure it out and then do it fast!"

Moka knelt down next to Mizore, trying to ignore the horrible smell of charred flesh even as the unearthly chill of the stoic girl's skin bit at her fingers. "Senpai is right; you're in pretty bad condition," she anxiously explained, "so I'm going to inject a little of my blood to stabilize you like he asked. It shouldn't be enough to turn you, but it might be unpleasant..."

The Snow Woman didn't immediately respond, instead keeping her gaze locked on Jotaro's battle with Kuyo. "...he'll die," she whispered as tears welled up in her eyes. "That Ripple trick he's using overcome Kuyo's heat and fire... it's working too well. If the fight drags on for too long, his body won't be able to contain that much power even if he wins..."

For a long moment, no one was sure of how to react to Mizore's declaration, nor her sheer certainty in voicing it...

"Oh please," Yukari distractedly mutters as she deftly cuts away melted clothing from Tsukune's burns, tending him next to Mizore and Moka. "Senpai's invincible. If we're gonna be dramatic, then all we have to do is unseal Moka's true form and she can help him out--"

"If I share my blood with anyone to heal them," the rose-haired girl cut in, "then I'll get anemic and be useless in a hurry. Even Other Me will only be able to sustain her full power for a short time--"

"Oh shit -- EVERYONE SCATTER!"

Moka, Yukari, Tsukune, and Mizore all looked up in alarm at Kurumu's shout... and saw with horror that Kuyo had transformed into a gigantic demonic burning fox with three tails, standing ten feet high at the shoulder.

"Oh my God... so that's his true form...!"

Pinning Jotaro beneath a massive fiery paw, Kuyo diverted his attention from the noble punk for a moment and cast his gaze about the courtyard -- only to immediately spot the heroes within seconds as Kurumu's illusions fail and dissipate.

Plumes of flame rise from the diabolical monster's form and coalesce into a sphere above his head...!

Please roll d6 on SV's system to determine Kuyo's attack, a d5 to define his targeting, and three separate d6s each for "???"

Ah shit, I remember this now. Wasn't the main plan for this fight to tank with Hamon for as long as possible to draw out as many of his cards as we can before getting close and hitting him with a surprise Star Platinum out of nowhere?

The main worry is still if he has a stand and if we can force him to use it before we have to use ours.

You came back! I would love for this to continue now more regularly, but that's up to you and how things go with you.

We will be incredibly lucky if we instinctively use Star Platinum: The World on instinct. (FYI, I very much prefer how time stop looks in the manga over the anime. P.S. Fuck Pucci)

Update 176 - Season Finale and Joestar, part 7
Plumes of flame rise from the diabolical monster's form and coalesce into a sphere above his head...!
Targeting/focus: Critical!
"Enemies of order... AS IF I'D LET YOU LEAVE HERE ALIVE!"

Hateful gaze locked squarely onto Tsukune, Kuyo rears back to launch his attack --
Attack: fail!
ORRAAAAA!!!!!

--only for Jotaro to exploit the momentary gap in attention by throwing a desperate Zoom Punch to Kuyo's vulpine face, smashing his concentration and destroying his focus!
???HAZARD: 2!
A malevolent roar tears out from Kuyo's maw as the fireball explodes above him, launching fiery carnage across the entire courtyard and turning it into a deadly inferno!
???DEFENSE: 4!
Mizore struggles to produce a protective ice wall in front of the group, but in her wounded state can only manage a half-formed lattice that barely withstands a third of the oncoming flame before it crumbles and melts.

Fortunately, it holds just long enough for Kurumu and Moka to grab their wounded friends and pull them away while Yukari tries to summon a gust of wind she can use to redirect the flames.

Unfortunately, a gob of boiling-hot water splashes onto Yukari's face before she can complete the spell; as she falls screaming onto her back, another stream of fire trails through the air towards her...
???INTERVENTION: 5
Kurumu and Moka didn't immediately notice what was happening, turned away as they were -- but, tears streaming down his face, Tsukune did. "I'm sick of watching my friends get hurt protecting me!"
As steady as ever, the inexorable pull of gravity yet remains supreme...
"Tsukune?!"

"No, you can't--!"

Using the element of surprise, he broke free of Kurumu's gentle grasp -- kept feather-light for fear of accidentally hurting him with her monstrous strength -- and ran in front of Yukari to shield her from the blast!

A scream of agony cuts through the roaring flames --

Clenching her teeth, Mizore flash-froze her own injuries as she crawled to her feet. "Put your blood in him, Moka! Now!"

Without a second thought, the vampire girl sunk her fangs into her first friend for the umpteenth time -- but this time in desperate hopes of feeding his life, instead of on it. "I'm begging you, Tsukune -- please don't die on me!"

As the charred, shivering boy in her hands attempts to raise a hand and brush away her tears, the gem in Moka's rosary seal cracks.

------------------------

Staring down at the carnage from a third-story window, Ginei Morioka grit his teeth and impotently slammed a fist against the library wall. "Dammit... DAMMIT, DAMMIT, DAMMIT! I told those girls to butt out and not to pick a fight with the SPC!"

Even now, he could feel a girl's disappointed gaze on his back.

"San-senpai, don't... don't look at me like that! None of us were ever as strong as you were!"

The library, of course, was empty. No one answered his outburst, even as he imagined a frail slip of a girl turning over a new page in her sketchbook to admonish him with.

"And almost as soon as you graduated," he continued, unwilling to let the phantom memory interrupt him, "that bastard saw fit to rub it in our faces...!"

Over a year and a half later, he still hadn't been able to purge the smell of cooked meat that had once been his clubmates... even trying to bury himself in his baser instincts hadn't really been enough to drown it out.

"If it were a natural full moon, then I might not be helpless... but as it is, he's invincible! Stands just can't do anything against him [In The Flesh]!"

The memory of his graduated senpai smiled sadly at him, like he were just on the cusp of coming up with the right answer but then throwing a fit out of frustration at the last second.

[You're smarter than this, Ginei. You don't need me to tell you what to do...]

Eyes wide with panic, Gin ran to catch the memory before it faded, to try and hold onto it --

"No, you're wrong about me! If at any point I'd known for myself what to do, then none of this would've happened!"

-- but his hands clutched onto nothing but empty air.

[]You tried to keep your underclassmen happy and safe in ignorance, and that's failed catastrophically. The best you can do now is to get your underclassmen, or whatever's left of them, out of harm's way.
[]There's no running or hiding from Kuyo... he's just too powerful. The best you can do now is beg for mercy on their behalf -- even if they all turn their backs on you, at least most of them will still be alive.
[]Fuck it, you've had enough of living like a beaten dog! For what Kuyo's done to you not once but twice, you're gonna rip out his throat even if it kills you!

Kept you waiting, huh?
