Apparently Kuyo has some ability to nullify Stands. Which may mean we can't use Star Platinum against him.

"In the Flesh", the song it's named after, is (broadly speaking) about substitution, delirium, nihilistic fascism, and the corrosion of identity. That might point toward it being a Stand which can interfere with, or potentially 'corrupt', someone else's Stand.

In any case, we don't have much choice. At this point, either Kuyo dies, or everyone else does.

Oh yeah, he's utterly lost it. According to Gin, this isn't even the FIRST time he's massacred entire clubs from sheer paranoia. His true form may be a fox, but by now he's nothing but a rabid dog.

Curious where the story will go once we're finally done here - DIO is already awake, and there's still the rest of Rosario's plot to deal with. Not to mention how many spanners have already been thrown in the works of both plots.

Werewolves are speed in counter to vampires power, if it takes time to effect Gin, then Gin should currently be skinning himself a three tailed fox rug. Instead, he is busy panicking in the school.
 
While Stands aren't a viable option now, we have to remember that Star Platinum is the fastest and strongest Stand after DIO's death. This means that even without time stop, we are on par in strength and speed with vampires and werewolves respectively.

But right now we are only limited to Hamon. I hope that it's enough.

When San Otonashi graduated, that left Kuyo as the mightiest monster on campus.

When the Newspaper Club still continued to challenge his authority and "justice" after that, he made an example out of them. A warning to the rest of the student body and faculty of what could happen to anyone else who upset his "peace".

Gin's still around partly because he was still so wrapped up in his thuggish "lone wolf" mentality that he didn't put up much of a fight when it could have made a difference, and partly because when he was ready to stand up and fight... it was already too late. After witnessing the aftermath of what Kuyo did to his clubmates, Gin surrendered and was allowed to live on and remind people not to cause too much trouble.

...or something like that, anyway.

Now, I'm certain that some might be inclined to ask: "Given all the nonsense we've seen over the course of the year, who the hell can call this a peace?!"

"People who survived the previous few years and still remember how much worse it was back then," I might reply.

Something something, "people who carelessly fight against monsters eventually become monsters themselves."
