Succubus and a Vampire, part II
For the rest of the morning I feel like I'm being suffocated, as Tsukune continues to ignore me during class after class. When the bell for lunch finally rings, I practically shoot out of my seat like a cannon, desperate to get myself some fresher air in the hallway. A few seconds later, Tsukune emerges from the classroom himself, and I try to strike up a conversation. Although, we still haven't really known each other for that long. It would be really kind of awkward if I just ask him to join me out of the blue, wouldn't it?
It's only just occurring to me that I could really use a guidebook or something to tell me how to deal with having friends...
.....wait, I've got it! If I can just use today's morning classes as a starting point, then I can draw him in for a conversation without it being weird!

"I, ah, had some stuff I wanted to ask you about our World History class earlier, Tsukune! If you'd like to join me for lunch, maybe we could compare notes?"

Tsukune finally looks at me.... but his eyes are cold and heartless. They hold no fondness, only complete and utter disdain.
No, stop it.... Only she ever looked at me like that... Why, Tsukune?! Why are you looking at me that way?!
"You'd really like that, wouldn't you? You bloodsucking leech. You call yourself my friend, but admit it! You don't really care about me except as a walking lunchbox!"

I... don't think I've ever been physically slapped, but the way those words hit me.... I can't think of anything else to compare it to.
Father, Aqua, or Khalua wouldn't do that; Kokoa would use weapons, and she wouldn't even touch me, nor would my old classmates.
This feeling in my chest.... why is it so hard to breathe, all of a sudden? It hurts. "How.... how could you say that, Tsukune? I know I've been leaning on you for the last few days, but after everything we've been through--"

A harsh, angry voice cuts through the hall. "Enough! Stop harassing him!"

"Whoa, check out that hottie!"

"DUUUUDE! You don't see a chest like THAT except in dirty magazines!"

"I know, right? And that's not even counting the rest of her figure! Look at those fine legs! That narrow waist! Those hips, and --"

"God's gift to men everywhere is walking right towards us, and your inability to keep running your mouth is ruining it for everyone involved!"

The chatter from the other students continues in that vein as a female student approaches, glaring at me like I'm something vile.

Wait a second.... it's that girl from yesterday! The angry one who got in my face and yelled at me!

"It's totally obvious," she drawls, "that my dear, darling Tsukune doesn't want anything to do with you!"

Her mouth is smiling, but her eyes are still glaring, and neither part of her expression is pleasant to look at. The girl drapes her arm around Tsukune and hugs his head down to her chest. Wait a second --

"Now run along, skank, and stop bothering my Tsukune!"

She.... that.... ohhhh.....!!!!

"You're the one with a skirt even shorter than the one required by the uniform, you're the one walking like you want to show off for the whole world, and you're the one acting like you've never even heard of shame much less capable of experiencing it, but somehow I'm the skank?!"

"That's right," she purrs, "you are!"

Smothering someone I thought was my friend into her chest, she points at me with an evil grin on her face! "From the moment you saw that I shared a class with you on the first day of school, you knew you'd never be able to compete with a real woman like me! So you tried to trick my darling Tsukune into liking you by leading on that repugnant Saizou Komiya, making him jealous, and then trapping Tsukune into a bodyguard scam!

"That way, you'd pretend to protect Tsukune from bullies, all the while making him into a sacrifice for your own disgusting thirsts at the same time! You filthy parasite!"

What the....?! That's the most insane, convoluted pack of lies I've ever --

"Holy shit, is that really true?!"

"I got a peek at her score on the pop quiz this morning, and if she gets those kinds of marks consistently, then you bet she's smart enough to think of something like that..."

"Wow, what a repugnant girl! You better believe that the only dreams of mine she'll be in from now on are my nightmares!"

".....that was a disgustingly cheesy thing to say, but I actually agree with you!"

All around me, the male students that used to openly fawn over and fantasize about me are now becoming more and more of an angry mob, and what used to be 'uncomfortable' just got a million times worse.

But even worse than all of that is Tsukune, still looking at me with those heartless eyes...! "I'm sick of you treating me like I'm a walking lunchbox. Get out of my sight."
I feel like I've been stabbed.
...why is everything suddenly getting blurry? Am I so angry that I can't even see properly? And why's my face wet?

"That's right," the girl croons in joy, "cry! Cry bitter tears of defeat now that I've saved Tsukune from your despicable clutches!"

I'm... crying. Of course I am, why wouldn't I be? Tsukune was only person in the world I thought I could call my friend, and apparently the second some lying hussy with a bloated chest pays him any attention at all, he decides he hates me.

There's a horrible, choking sound, and as I start shaking, I suddenly realize it's my own sobbing. My legs are trembling, and it's all I can do to keep standing at all. "I... can't believe this. I thought you were better than this!"
As if by lightning, the malignant haze in Tsukune Aono's mind dissipated in an instant at the sight of his friend's distress!
"I'm disappointed in you, Tsukune!"
But even as his mind finally regained its clarity, Moka was already turning away before she could see it.
My feet start moving on their own, and even though I don't have any idea where I'm going... away. Away from here, away from this moment, away from these horrible feelings go away and make it stop

"Moka...-!"

"JUST STOP IT! STOP HURTING ME!"

And on that note, it's time to start on the Jotaro update.

Sorry for the Moka Sidestory being comparatively short, but I seriously wanted to get it out tonight, and that made for a decent place to cut it, so.... >_>

Let me know what you think?

So that's how it began huh? Well, I then assume that it went closer to how the manga turned out after this, since Tsukune managed to will himself out of Kurumu's charm spell. Still funny that it was somewhat different from the manga.

Also, I can't wait for the next update. I have also been enjoying some arcs of the Rosario + Vampire manga that I wondered how Jotaro would affect them. Obviously, Tsukune has yet to be injected with Moka's blood, which in turn will halt his development to his ghoul transformation and the exorcist (he's Alucard's copy, right?) putting the lock.
By extension, if he doesn't regularly starts entering his vampire form, then by the Hokuto fight only Jotaro would be the guy that could fight him until Inner Moka arrives, unless Tsukune does have the lock and then it will be a fight between three humans (or two former humans).

Don'thca agree?

This gives me an idea we should probably start considering: if we (or, considering Jotaro's general toughness, more our friends really) are going to continue being involved in violent altercations with, among others, the student body, Tsukune is going to need something to alleviate his squishiness. I mean, if we want our friends to stay safe, helping them to protect themselves is really the best course of action.

And that doesn't necessarily mean we should start injecting him with vampire blood, although I'm not saying that isn't a non-viable option. But something as, hm, tame as asking Yukari to brew up something like some health potions or something would already fill that role. Anything to give him some survivability when the chips come down. Right now he's kind of a liability in that regard.

RED ALERT!! RED ALERT!!

WE NEED NUKE!! WE NEED NUKE YESTERDAY!!!

WE NEED JOSEPH.
In-story (from the Jotaro updates), that was like... 4 or 5 months ago, for the record.

While the anime version of R+V does have its own share of problems, I do also use it as source material alongside the manga. Kurumu being in the same class as Tsukune and Moka, for example, is something that was in the first anime season, but I can't recall if it was in the manga or not (at least, that early anyway).

More prominently, the Witch Hill arc (and Mizore's introduction) being earlier than the SPC arc is also based on the anime timeline instead of the manga, though obviously I brought Mizore in much sooner than even the anime did.

Despite (or perhaps because of?) being the squishiest, Tsukune also has the best record as far as not being critically injured goes.

Mizore and Kurumu have had the shit beaten out of them and Kurumu's taken serious burns to the throat, Yukari's been skewered and nearly bled out, Joseph's been mauled, and Jotaro's sustained multiple broken bones, puncture wounds, dislocations, and has been impaled.

The only reason Moka has a worse injury record than Tsukune is because her wounds have all been psychological in nature.

Damn, that's quite a record for our characters. Wait... when was Joseph mauled? I just remember Kars injuring him and kicking our ass.

Anyway, is there a chance we can actually find out we can stop time before our fight with DIO? I just really love time stop.

Also, one arc I really want to see would be the Halloween arc with the mirror and Tsukune's cousin investigating. Maybe she'll be too distracted by Jotaro's handsomeness to really start investigating the school. However she will need to be careful of Mizore this time.

Also, how will the Medusa be included? Will she try to send the School Protection Committee after Jotaro himself or also against those he cares about in order to lure him out? Because the fact was that in the manga she was infatuated with Moka after being defeated by her and infuriated by the newspaper club for ruining her reputation.

Here, while we lost to Yukou before, now I see the fight going differently, but that's if only the newspaper club gets involved.

Wait... wait... oh shit ! I remember now! Mizore attacked the spider-bitch, which is considered a deceleration of war in the eyes of the School Protection Committee, meaning they are already after us and Mizore, since Mizore called us her boyfriend (which we are and it's always nice to hear that from such a lovely woman)! This means there is a chance of us not involving the newspaper club or let them assist us, which will cause the same war that was in the manga!
Holy shit I'm overthinking thing!!! I CAN SMELL THE COSMOS!!

I wish we didn't have them at all so we could focus on making actual progress.

That's... true. Huh. Weird, because in the manga I remember Tsukune being a regular punching bag for various villains and, depending on who they were up against at the time, regularly getting just absolutely shredded to pieces (mainly because he had sort of a tendency to throw himself in between his friends and lethal damage).
I guess he's just being smarter this time around?

Well, that's mostly because all the lowlifes that originally attracted to Moka (and other girls) and often result in his injury instead got filtered, hard, by this muscle mass delinquent-like senpai and his girlfriend. He also had advantage of seeing things from sidelines without benefit of ghoulification, so he also more motivated to keep his hide intact.

Well, we need a way to make him useful in a fight. Maybe Yukari can make potions and he can carry them while staying on the sidelines so that in need he could give anyone a potion that could get them into the fight or shorten their recovery post fight a hell of a lot faster.

Also, is Rubi gonna be a Stardust Crusader? She is a stand user and she followed Joseph in this story. Can she still summon her stand and this time use it to its full capabilities? (what's her Stand again? I keep forgetting)

This reminds me, what are the Stand stats for Bad Moon Rising (Gin's stand) and Rubi's stand (whatever it's called)? While their stats are meaningless, it's important in my opinion to know them so that we know what the range of it's ability, movement and punching speed, power and potential to develop.

Ruby's Stand was (is?) The Memory Remains. And considering how it was capable of outright ATTACKING her, I doubt she can control it, let alone use it to its full potential.

Besides which, as I vaguely remember mentioning previously, I'm convinced that The Memory Remains manifests using a corpse (probably a fresh one, at that) as a medium, so even if she wanted to use it someone would have to die first.

More like there's a significantly more beafy dude who calls first dibs before he can do anything.

Most the dudes who'd beat on Tsukune got the crap kicked out of them by Jotaro before they could

Yeah, Jotaro has that kind of influence. Everyone in the clubs section backed off because Moka and Tsukune hid behind him.

.....oh. Okay then, I'll, ah, see what I can do about that.

And here I'd thought the Moka updates were kind of popular.... >_>

I love the quest Eva, I'm just the kind of person who also likes a good pace of the story, that's why on Spacebattles I'm usually more waiting for updates and voting actions than omakes and side stories (except for My Huntsman Academia, there I became an omake writer. Yes, I admit it! I have become what I despise!).

Still love this quest so much that I joined Sufficient Velocity just to be a part of it. I just want to see Jotaro's story more than Moka's, even if I really like Moka.

Don't sound so offended. I still appreciate the work you do very much.

I'm really glad you're doing them because Moka needs some screentime, as you said when you started this up and I appreciate the effort you put in.

I admit I also like looking through text to find invisitext, which Moka stories are fun for.

I look forward to seeing what happens.
