I just had a thought, are Moka and Tsukune going to realise we're human? Given Jotaro's personality, he doesn't exactly come across as a human trapped among monsters.
I'm sure Tsukune and Moka will realize. Either Tsukune will recognize a fellow human, or once Moka makes the connection between Jotaro and "Jojo" she'll realize the truth.

But either way, one will tell the other and the secret will be out.

...Also... Okay, I gotta say, it feels... Weird to have important dialogue just be described instead of actually said. 'He's startled and asks you if you have any business with him' and the like. Lessens the impact of it, makes it harder to get a read on the characters.
That mostly comes down to, "I don't know whexactly how to have this character say this, but it needs said."

Chalk it up to author failure.

...Why did it strip the quotes from the votes?

Also, clicking the 'individual votes' option means it doesn't give each specific permutation.

Fair enough.

If you want, I can beta read and edit and stuff for ya? This quest is pretty cool so far, college semester is about over, and they say teaching is the best way to learn.
Sure, why not? Need to write up (and read a bit more) now, but I can PM it next time I have the 'net fired up tomorrow.

Fun fact: Despite hating clingy girls with the fury of a thousand suns, Jotaro generally gets quite upset at people picking on the weak and women. Remember his speech during the Kakoyin fight?

"I, Jotaro Kujo have been labeled as a bad student. When I fight, I have to beat the other guys so bad, that some of them are still in the hospital. Some useless, arrogant teachers I personally taught a lesson, will never come back to school. I'm used to leaving without paying when a restaurant serves me bad, overpriced food. However, even I know what disgusting evil is like!! Evil is the one who preys on the weak only to serve their own interests!! And moreover to a woman! That's what you do! Hmmm...! Your Stand, neither the victim nor justice can see him or even know it exists... therefore I am the one who will judge you!"

Jotaro is also a bit of a nerd from his listed hobbies (watching Columbo, reading boat and plane technical manuals and his favorite movie being Never Cry Wolf, a nature drama about wolves and caribou, as well as the whole becomes a marine biologist thing. Add in the fact he's able to come up with a counter strategy for fighting Stands and you've got one badass smartass cookie.

Yup that's some fun facts.
I prefer the anime official sub's version of the monologue, really. It just felt more epic in my opinion, probably because it's better written/phrased than the manga's:

"I, Jotaro Kujo, am labeled a punk. I tend to overdo it with my opponents in fights, so much that some are still in the hospital. There was one idiot teacher who was all talk, so I taught him a lesson and he hasn't come back to school. At restaurants that served me lousy food, I live without paying the bill all the time. But... Even I know nauseating evil when I see it. Evil is when you use the weak for your own gain, and crust them under your foot. Especially a woman! That is exactly what you've done! Your Stand isn't visible to the victim or the law. Therefore... I shall judge you!"

Makes me wonder how was he not expelled or reported to the police after all this, but then again, it was Japan in the 90s. Even the 2000s the law there is bad and the people still often keep silent when they were victimized by someone, let alone in the 90s (typical of Eastern countries, really). Also, there's a theory that his silence is actually him thinking about quotes and one-liners to use.

Apologies for the delay, everyone. Wound up reading lots more SBR.

Also, I would like to take this moment to give a shout-out to @FurikoMaru. A couple of years ago, she and I became acquainted on TvTropes while discussing a "Haruhi Suzumiya" thing I was working on at the time, as well as other fanfiction-related discussions later on. Anyway, at one point, I noticed a curious link in her forum post signature there: "A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo Is You!"

It was by clicking on that link, that I first became aware of the questing phenomena, as well as the mad and fabulous multi-generational epic that is "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure".

Out of my platonic attachment to Furiko-sensei, I chose for myself to open those first few pages of Phantom Blood, and damn if it wasn't the manliest thing I'd ever laid eyes on.

There were a few bumps in the road over the years, before I came to understand that each JoJo is inevitably a strong contrast against his or her immediate predecessor. I initially couldn't stand Jotaro, for being so different from the unambiguously heroic Jonathan and Joseph (I learned to accept him later and even kind of like him now, but Josuke was still a godsend).

But even so, I have eventually come this far. Diamond Is Unbreakable in its entirety broke my mind, in the best way ever. Trish was twelve kinds of amazing for the one segment that she got to actually do something. I nearly drowned in frustration trying to brave the Stone Ocean, but I kept myself afloat and have been completely and absolutely rewarded by the dramatic contest of will and desire that is the Steel Ball Run, and I have every intention of carrying through and into JoJolion. Before this month is out, I plan on putting as much time as I can into playing All-Star Battle, so that I can have yet another dimension in which to explore the world of JoJo.

And now here I am, on a site I never heard of until a few weeks ago, running a Quest

What was it, those years ago, that brought me to this path? Could it have been fate? Was it, as Enrico Pucci would claim, gravity that led me to follow up on that signature link? Was it nothing more than random chance that I was irrevocably sucked into this wonderfully fabulous and bizarre world?

Regardless of the cause, the fact still remains that I would not be here, none of us would be here in this thread - indeed, Rosario and Joestar would very definitely not exist (and by association, Joseph Joestar as Yokai Chuck-Norris-meets-Boogeyman would not exist) - were it not for @FurikoMaru.

Now then, I'm sure that the next words out of somebody's mouth are gonna be: "That's really sweet and all, but when are you gonna update?"

And the answer is: RIGHT. ORAORAORAORAAAA-ING. NOW.

Update 12 - Jotaro scares the crap outta Saizo
[X] Disgusted. To hell with culture, and to hell with the differences between human and monster. If this is how monster society works, then you intend to change it. One broken face at a time.

Result: you are now "Neutral Good". As long as the rules/laws of a given situation don't stand against your personal sense of justice, you will generally follow them without complaint.

[X] "You just did something you shouldn't have." *pause* "Don't."
Though he looks anxious and is starting to sweat, Saizo is still only mostly nervous. The way he is now, you could certainly kick his ass, and you both know it. But your teacher said that everyone is in a human disguise, meaning that everyone around you could be significantly stronger than they appear. This guy is probably hoping that he can unleash his monster form quicker than you can and get an edge that way.

You stare at the contemptible thug in front of you, eye to eye. You're certain that it's your attitude, more than anything else, that intimidates him.

You tell him bluntly, "You just did something you shouldn't have."

After a brief pause to let him agonize over when you're going to attack - over how quickly he'll need to transform - you instead let him off with a warning. "Don't."
You then leave. Whether Saizo will heed your warning or not is up to him.

[X]Interrogate Moka.
You intended to find Aono's main squeeze and then squeeze some information out of her, but she and her boytoy ran like hell to safety a moment ago. You don't terribly feel like chasing after them, so you wait until the break for lunch. What a pain in the ass...
_______________
Some hours later...
Now, it's lunchtime. You've got half an hour to do pretty much whatever. Heading down the building's main hall, someone bumps into you as they round the corner.

"Oh my god! I'm so, so, so sorry for bumping into you, Kujo-senpai!"
"I'm sorry too, senpai. We didn't see you there."
You look down, and find a wide-eyed Moka stammering apologies, with Aono at her side. Perfect, just the vamp you were looking for. How do you begin your quest for information?
[]Pump the girl right here, right now. In the hallway. In front of everyone. (roll for Jerkface, with hidden Affiliate penalty for doing so in front of Aono)
[]Go with Aono and Moka to the cafeteria, and discuss the matter over lunch.
[](Write-in)
What do you say?
[]"We need to talk."
[]"You and everyone else get anxious whenever I introduce myself. Does the name 'JoJo' mean anything special around these parts?"
