Little does she know that we are a monster, a parasite that has latched onto this young lad's head and disguised our self as a piece of clothing. Our disguise isn't perfect, however...
I never realized we were a life fiber. ... or are you referencing Venom?
Nonsense. The genre lends itself to JoJo's favor. Clearly one monster at a time will challenge him!

Besides, we can always use the Joestar Family Secret Technique!
Inner Moka has had to fight groups and crowds before. So the possibility of getting mobbed is a real thing. Also, there are several monster breeds that are significantly stronger and/or faster than you.

It may well be of benefit to hide your humanity at least until you get the Ripple.

[X] Raise your eyebrow and gesture for her to get on with it.
[X] Reassure her that your grandpa is actually a pretty swell guy.

[X] "My family's pretty outta loop, I kinda doubt many of my kind have even been to an Academy like this."
[X]Do nothing. It looks like Aono's got this under control.

Now, while I agree Moka's reaction would be amazing (and it might help if we could brush it off as a joke) I don't think we're playing Abridged!Jotaro and so aren't actually that dimwitted as to say that.
I mean, now we know who our first phonecall is going to be to, given that we just discovered our Grandad is apparently a monster slaying badass.

*RingRing*
"Hello? Joseph Joestar speaking."
"GRANDPA WHAT'S THE RIPPLE AND HOW DO I USE IT?"
"What!? How do you know about that!? And why do you need such a thing?"
"I'M STUCK IN A PARALLEL DIMENSION AT A SCHOOL FOR MONSTERS AND VAMPIRES! Also I have an annoyingly helpless sidekick and a surprisingly nice vampire to protect, I know, weird. BUT SERIOUSLY I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DO THE RIPPLE!"
*Joseph stares at his phone in abject shock*

So, lets be a friend (or at least friendly to the nicest monster we've met so far) and not sit there all awkward like.

EDIT: I realised that Jotaro has had nowhere near enough character development to realise that he's nowhere near as expressive as he thinks he is.

First thing we do tonight: call our grandfather and ask him to teach us this 'Ripple' thing all the monsters at our new school talk about him using.

Edit: DIO'd

[X]Put a hand on Moka's shoulder, and comfort her silently.

In regards to comforting Moka: Jotaro completely sucks at comforting his own daughter, much less people he barely knows. He has this weird tendency to just assume people know whatever he's thinking or feeling, so he ends up just standing around like a fencepost and emoting about as much when it comes to tender moments. I'd love to have some character development so he can grow out of that (maybe have a distant epilogue for Stone Ocean to show that off?), but right now it'd be a bit odd for Jotaro to do anything to do anything more than stand there uncomfortably.

You know you're stone faced when your Stand emotes more than you do.

You make a good point, the most he seems to emote is frustration and annoyance towards Dio and his assorted douchbaggery, I suppose that's Jotaro speak for *Howling Incoherent Rage and Hate*.

Given we're likely to be interacting with a lot of females they're likely to end up pointing out that we're nowhere near as expressive as we think we are.

Poor guy probably thinks he's perfectly warm and expressive and everyone around him are either just assholes or unobservant.

He's got girls falling all over him in Stardust Crusaders; they think his "strong, brooding tough guy" looks and attitude are incredibly hot and never really point out how stony his demeanor is. The attention, incidentally, just pisses him off, not that I can blame him: with how often it happens, it must have gotten old fast.
Hmm... I just realized Jotaro and Tsukune are near-perfect opposites: the handsome, intelligent, brooding, ultra-manly action hero who spurns or ignores any kind of display of affection and the average (both physically and mentally), oversensitive, wimpy nice guy. The only thing they've got in common is that women throw themselves at them constantly.

More like average, slightly insensitive, positively-scared-for-his-life nice guy with Tsukune. And women doesn't constantly throw themselves at him, they're pretty few and slow-working but stronger in intensity when compared to how JoJo was able to attract someone he just met.

We could imply we're a half-youkai. Just say "I'm a half. I was raised by humans." Technically both are true - JoJo is half-human. I think I'll go with that.

[] "I'm a half. I was raised by humans."
[] "Yare yare daze. Don't worry Moka, my grandpa's a really nice guy. He wouldn't kill you just because you're a vampire. You'd have to be a bad person. Besides, he wouldn't hurt my friends anyways."

EDIT - meh, changed mind, going with original full human vote.

Heh, maybe one day we'll confide our annoyance to Tsukune after a particularly frustrating bout of 'female limpets' and he'll point it out?

Don't imply we're half. Flat out state that we're a whole human descended from Joseph Joestar, then laugh at Moka and let her assume it's a joke.

Connotation of being a half is quite bad in the rather bigot society of youkai, and once we chose this as our cover story, we will have to stick with it thus creating problems in the long future. This combination is probably the worst there is in both short and long-term.

Moka doesn't have to tell anyone that. She's not the type to be a bigot, anyways.

Heh, I just realised something that might sway folks away from 'My Grandpa is a swell guy' vote.

Just imagine the look on her face if we ever get them to meet and introduce 'My Grandpa, Joseph Joestar'. Bonus points if they're shaking hands.

Admittedly kinda mean though. Preferably during a crisis so we can 'not have time' to warn her.

How about that it does nearly nothing to mitigate her panic, just letting her conclude that we are adopted is likely even better for calming her down, if we don't want to keep the grandfather bit quiet, and that this is outright deceiving her for no reason at all?

And what do you think what we will have to say when others ask about us? What will it effects be when people find out we lied? Rule 101 of Lying: Make sure your story is consistent. Moka isn't the one you have to worry about, it's the other people because rumor spreads. And she's not exactly warm to the concept of humanity yet as of this point, so we might create unnecessary trouble.

Seriously, what with you people? Why keep choosing the risky option with little to no gain rather than choose the safe one that doesn't give us any trouble? Do you really think the fun we'll get will be that big from getting into trouble over something as trivial as a throwaway remark?

The more members of the Newspaper Club (assuming that still happens) are there, the funnier this will become.

Seconded.

[X] Point out that gran- uh, Joseph Joestar is old as crap.
