I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Compasses can be interfered with, for example I would bet exactly nothing on them working correctly in the Chaos Wastes. Chamon concentration might mess with it too, or good old loadstone deposits. A minor rune that does not work on magnetism and always points north could in fact be invaluable at times.

The neat thing is that it will still happen, or at least an attempt. This is not a yes, or no vote. This is a "how much support are you getting from us." Partially means we endorse it but don't put our own resources into it. While full support means we go ham again.

Oh, I should have worded what I said better. I want it to happen, but I think there is too much going on to throw our full weight behind it.
Going ham is definitely a Snorri thing to do, but I think we should hold back this time
