Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Please tell me we didn't wake up ALL THE ORKS, EVERYWHERE.
That would be a disaster comparable to birth of Slaneesh.

I mean, language suggests we only woke up local orcs. Still, fear remains.
Guess they weren't quite broken. They were just slacking off on the job. The approaching deadline to their existence sure woke them up.

I am exceedingly excited to see the Atlas shown off like this, and also, the Beast is really showing its chops, eh? Even limited to just the orks in this warhorde, this is gonna be a fun ride.

huh it looks like the Necrons might be waking early
and a new Beast
you know, this might be enough to prevent The Fall
by scaring the Eldar out of their hedonism

hell, we may not see humanities fall into the Iron War as well, it would be wonderful to see Xantalos take on GOAT humanity, and seeing another new facet of the 2nd act of the War in Heaven

Oh god oh fuck

We need to kill every single Ork on Mochantia, or at least in this WAAGH.

Wasn't as planned, but ok...
I'm just going to hope that this is localized, but given the end I'm not counting on it. Now granted this was only a fraction of what they had been before, but you only need a spark to reignite the fire. Still though, it might lead to Krorks, but not anytime soon.

For now we will gather information and get a feel for what even the barest fraction of a Krork can do. Gives us the opportunity to prepare.

Definitely nowhere near enough. The Fall's still going to happen, no matter what- the Necrons were active prior to the Fall per Infinite and the Divine and they were subtle enough that the Eldar just didn't notice- or more likely, didn't care. So unless like every Tomb World wakes up and the Silent King returns, it just won't matter- the Eldar simply don't care enough.

The Beast, similarity, was a threat to an Imperium that had just clawed itself back from the brink of death but was forced into collapse through Vulkan's sacrifice- that's definitely not enough for the actual pre-Fall Eldar, since their empire dwarfs the Imperium in quite a few things- although admittedly, they didn't have the Anathema in the form of the Emperor, but that's a specialized anti-Chaos weapon, not an anti-everything one.

but basically they fought whatever was in front of them for about a minute or they could break free, upon which they basically booked it due south-west as fast as orkily possible.
Uhhh that means the ritual FAILED. If they didn't die, it didn't work.
Which is very disappointing since I was looking forward to a nice long break from the tedium of the eternal meatgrinder they force on us.

This is just the starting point, it'll take the rest of the turn for it to take effect fully. The orks are just very invested in making sure it doesn't work.

And I'm fairly looking forward to taking a break from ork violence, as fun as it can be. Mazdamundi's basically acting as my avatar in this instance.

Thanks for that update! I'm glad to see you're better now🙂

Carvo snorted disdainfully. "An' 'ow do you fink dat's gonna turn out for ya? Fightin' a weirdboy kroxigit wif magic fart gas driftin' off dat big stick 'e's holding? You wanna die gettin nuffin done like a yoof who just popped out da ground, go ahead. Me, I got work ta do."

With that, the irritated assassin trod heavily out of the chamber, followed sheepishly by his understudies. One of them pulled the door shut behind him as he exited, muttering an apology about the mess they'd caused, and the Eternity Chamber was empty once more.

Krom'tli stood for a moment and blinked. A definitively atypical encounter, to see an Uax retreating from a potential fight. This information would have to be shared with Sotek's chosen-
Carbo is a gem, I'm kinda sad he got brainwashed by the Waaagh!!!

I'm honestly just really tired of the war. We're under constant attack by the orks, but we can't spare the focus to finish them off because of the Sameboyz, and we can't spare the focus to finish THEM off because of the orks. And both keep replacing all of their losses when we don't finish them off. It's a mentally-exhausting treadmill; constantly sprinting as fast as we can, but getting nowhere.

And now the orks have gotten worse.

Carvo being savvy enough to go, "Big magic dude with an obvious magic weapon? No thanks." Was just phenomenal. Orks really are the most fun part of Warhammer. Shame we got him deleted by his base code, but swatting orks with 'natural' disasters wasn't efficient enough. We might want to think very carefully before trying this method again though.

Even if the effect is local, orks are all connected across the galaxy, if distantly. This is probably gonna echo out in some way and cause changes of some kind. The orks getting even *slightly* more serious would be dangerous for everyone.

What *was* the general feelings on that again? I feel like people wanted to try allying with them, but it's been a while.
I won't remember, I don't even now if there was a consensus. Personally I'd rather not ally with them, because letting an army of infectious hive-minded body jackers spread in the galaxy is a horrible idea. Even if we brainwash them into obedience, we can't be certain that none of them will ever break free. I'd rather mindrape them into submission and leave them on this planet.
