Whoops, fixed them errors - I had an updated version with them fixed in a different Google doc than the one I pasted the actual update from. My thanks for pointing them out!

Sorry I feel the need to ask this but were you always co qm? It feels like that would come up but I have no recollection of you being mentioned before? Anyway thanks for the update loving the quest.
He kind of drifted into the role over time - started out just beta reading for me and then we wound up collaborating on ideas and building out a significant portion of the story together.

"My siblings," a voice boomed, coming from the distant peak of Itzoatl, magnified by the magics of that place so that it reached the ear of every lizardman, no matter where they were. After a decade of solitude, Mazdamundi spoke once more to the lizardmen. "The storm is weathered. Our foe has been unmade. It is done! Uaxla-loqaz!"

YAHOOO!!! We did boomed them!!!

No, seriously, it does feel a bit like the destruction of One Ring in Return of the King. The Big Bad is dead and all his works are no more.

Good job everybody, a pat on the back, now let's get to the preparations for Shadowdancer's visit.

Nothing another of ork-away cant fix
Honestly, I think I'd rather leave finishing off the northern continent orks to conventional lizardman actions once we establish some forward operating bases there. I'm not sure they have anything like the level of sophistication and numbers, though we really do need to put some slannpower on figuring out the extent.

Also, disunited orks can't all be hit by the same application of the Uax Detonating Ritual, unfortunately. You have to target the warboss.

Meanwhile

A long time into the future on a planet far, far away...

Every Soldier of the Steel Legion can't help but cry for no apparent reason.

Nah it just sorta happened about 1 to 2 years ag-

Yeah basically. Though the turnaround time between 'hey do you need a beta' and ' so. Have you considered ____' was surprisingly short.

At long least the green menace is terminated. The tension of having to put up with them is over, and now we dam focus on other stuff. I can't wait to see what the next plan proposals are, assuming we have another before going into space with the promised refined mechanics.

Now the only thing they need to do is prevent anymore Ork from getting on their continent, while wiping out the Ayac.

Woo, the spell worked and we didn't all die! And now we put that spell away and never use it again. Because the possibility of awaking the Krork would be comparable to a Tyranid hive fleet (or three) rolling into the galaxy.

I'd hate to actually make the galaxy worse than canon in any aspect.:o

Here's to launching a nice, conventional assault on the remaining orcs.

any chance we could physically take one of those crystallized Waaaaghs and use it for something? My first fantasy was to make a god like with the Mind Fog, but er that seems like a horrible idea.

Seems like the core for highly-inadvisable power plant to me.
Or an FTL drive. Use your magic-binds to convince the waaagh-core that its enemy is at (X) and it warps space to get there fasta.

Well, that was quite the ride. Thanks for the update!😊 I can't say I'm not glad to at last have finished the turn 😉 But it was good. What's up next? The time skip? Or do we have still some other things to do before that?

Ah, finally. Two years and a decade hence.

Time to get on with dealing with our other trials and troubles. And also expansion! We can properly focus on building more cities again!
We also need to clean up the orks on the northern continent. If we don't, it's only a matter of time before they become a major threat again.

We might be able to, but the problem is that for as long as that core exists, all the Orks belonging to that Waaagh!!! will keep throwing themselves at the Lizardmen.

So yes, it might technically be doable, but you would have to manually deal with hundreds of millions of Orks and the Uax ecosystem all going apeshit, without resorting to breaking the orb and insta-gibbing all of the Waaagh!!!
